TanyaW.Such a great podcast!Love this podcast! AS someone obsessed with food, the "Fat Boy" segments (that's what awesome host Chris calls them!) are my favorite, but it's also graet to hear his adventures in comedy, acting, movies, and life in general.

Npz1978Thoughtful discussions-this show is a must listen!!This show is excellent. Definitely one of my favorite for hearing amazing commentary and discussions. Along with Can We Please Talk (which talks to reporters, writers and newsmakers), this is one of my favorite shows to listen to!
-
rockcity2010Weekly Listen for MeThis is one of my favorite weekly pods. Good discussions on film, music, and other nerd stuff. I initially found out about Chris through TBGWT. Once I heard him mention listening to Rachael Yamagata I knew und a podcast for me, another Black guy who listened to some of the same stuff. I really enjoyed this week’s episode. The Afterparty is fantastic. Not enough people talking about it. Jeen-Yuhs doc is incredible. The scene where Kweli and Mos brought him on stage at Irvin Plaza made me smile because I was at that show and remember a post-Dilla Slum Village with Elzhi was also on the bill. I slept on Moonchild until Indae their Tiny Desk performance. Keep giving out these great music recommendations. Lastly, sub to the Patreon. It’s only $3 for additional content.

The Mel LadyBest music and movie reviewsChris and his guests give excellent insight on show business whether it’s stand up plays or movies. The reviews on movies have made me venture out to see more movies. I have been quite satisfied with Chris’s music choices as well. I may not like a whole album but some of the tracks are pleasurable. Keep up the good work Chris, I’ll be listening.
-
J-FullChris ruined (hack) comedy for me!This review is long overdue. I don’t even know how long I’ve been listening, it seems like forever. At least back when he had a weird Twitter handle. Or was it Tumblr? This podcast is a weekly staple in my queue. the inside baseball comedy talk has ruined comedy for me. Now my laugh standards are SO much higher, which is definitely a good thing. Sometimes I can see where these wack comedians’ jokes are headed and I end up eye rolling. Hopefully Chris can do an LA show and I can check out his comedy live. I always enjoy him on the many podcasts he guest stars on.
-
Dmaq1Very dopeChris is a funny comedian. Glad to see him doing a podcast!
-
KBlair44Not Kevin DurantThough this is review #35, I am not jumping ship to or from a championship contending podcast. Rather, I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here and look forward to future episodes and the host's success. Featuring a wide range of talented guests, weaving through intriguing conversations covering more bases than a season of Aaron Judge RBI's. Acting, auditions, movies, music, politics, PG County, video games & vixens just to name a few. Week to week, the soothing soulful open may be of this earthly world, but this Festival is all but mundane. Enjoy!
-
Cedric EtherlyOutstanding!Chris is a very talented comedian/actor. Touches subjects from comedy to #blackquarterbacks. Very insightful and funny. I really enjoy the podcast.

John ToueyCheck out this Podcast PeopleI got into Chris Lamberth after hearing him on Paul Virzi's The Virzi Effect (also check that out). If you want to hear a comedian talk about real life issues, music, movies, not being afraid of white people or anything for that matter tune in to The Mundane Festival. Thanks for the podcasts Chris. I am up to 3 podcasts I listen to weekly, The Mundane Festival, Bill Burrs MMP and Virzi's The Virzi Effect. Always a good listen love the movie reviews!
