    A true audio immersive. Cabral takes you to a place of beginnings, anguish and ends. The first audio immersive I had to pause, weep and continue the adventure. I’ve had the pleasure of listening through episode 9. I am nervously anticipating what’s to come. What a tale.

    I loved the intensity of Richard Carbajal, great story, great job in historical detail. However there’s a lot of inconsistencies on the Spanish dialogue, and translation from Spanish to English.

    This is such a good story. I’m so glad it’s being told. The level of details really brings you into the scenes. Joaquin Murrieta is definitely an antihero type that you want to succeed. Richard Cabral really takes this story to another level.

    Voice acting feels racist
    As an immigrant I find it offensive the way they lean into the Chicano accent. I’ve seen other reviews saying it makes it feel like the story is being told by them for them. I feel it’s leaning towards a caricature of the way we as immigrants speak and find it offensive. Your mileage may vary, for me it ruined the experience.

    Couldn’t get through the second episode
    This was rather slow in development, and I couldn’t take the slow “Mexican” accents anymore. I see that it has a high rating, but I just don’t agree. Most REALM stories are much better.
