    The Movie Bro Antitode
The critics here more than anywhere understand that a movie is supposed to be art and that they’re supposed to move you, in any number of ways, whether through humor or drama or spectacle. They talk about interesting movies in an interesting way. A more feminine perspective on movies in the best way - bucks against a lot of the biggest and most American impulses of much of cinema today. Necessary podcast.

The only movie podcast I listen to!!
As a film lover, this has been the only film podcast I’ve listened to for years!! I love the rotation of writers who come in and it’s nice that they all bring such a fresh perspective and actually have a great rapport with Leila. Love! ❤️

    Great UK/European Perspectives
This is a wonderful review show of current films that also features a classic or under-appreciated movie. This is a show for people with open minds. Those who go hunting for media to label as “too woke” can spend time elsewhere.

Like nostalgia, not what it used to be
Excellent at times but is just too “inside baseball.” Feels like a podcast where the audience is actually irrelevant. Smart, eloquent, cogent discourse on film is always welcome - but this is by the podcasters for the podcasters AC Jimbo sorely missed - kept it real - but he probably doesn’t have the time, energy or brain power/verbosity to bother.

    Racist or Woke?
    Unfortunately they are both.

    Titles
Please just simply list out the movies in the episode titles. It’s really annoying the way you changed it. Doesn’t make it better at all. Will change my review to 5 if you do.

Not sure they actually like any popular movies
The critics seem to automatically be over critical of popular movies...simply because a lot of the general public enjoy them. Just enjoy it for what it is! Was much much better with James Richardson as host, he represented a more average film goer!

    I’m Out
I have struggled my way through this podcast for a while now. Occasionally I have really enjoyed it. However, I have got a bit tired of people crow barring in there personal politics into some of the film reviews, coupled with praise for some incredibly overrated movies (High Life springs to mind). As a liberal, I thought we were supposed to be less dogmatic than the right and more open minded. Apparently not.

    Reviews for the Woke
Not a serious film review show. If you want to hear movies being dismissed because they were made by white males this is the place for you. Hipsters let you in on how wonderful they are. Unsubscribed

Jimbo's great; the rest, not so much
Jumbo is brilliant: funny, keeps things moving, has genuine and interesting things to say about movies. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the critics on show, virtually all of whom are remarkably pretentious. They sound as though their far more concerned with being "correct" according to what they learned at film school, rather than expressing genuine opinions.

Come for AC Jimbo, Stay for proper filmchat
Started listening because James Richardson is a fantastic presenter. The format of this pod is quite appealing: a few reviews, some choice discussion about current happenings, and then the neat film club segment where they dust off old movies that deserve another look. The panelists aren’t particularly eccentric or funny, but there’s no denying their film chops. James’ puns are great — just don’t let him share any awful Indiana Jones takes.

Barry Norman eat your heart out
AC Jimbo is the everyman in this podcast, not afraid to be real, and I enjoy the breakdown of movies old and new. Please keep this one!
