Boonedocks1At least ignorance isn’t stupidTesla’s Exploding any minute in the Tesla Loop. 🙄🤦🏻♂️. Love the show but your complete uneducated and illiterate attitude towards Tesla is too much to keep listening to you guys. Get a clue

SmoDogThey Make Me Laugh!Well, it’s kind of like listening to Wally Phillips in the old days; however, Wally would never be as spicy. This husband and wife combo are interesting (if you are interested about Vegas), funny (based on my sense of humor) and real (meaning it’s like listening to clever neighbors). Bottom line, I listen to each and every episode- which for me has never happened before. Kudos!

TD196912345678900987754321The OG Vegas podcastTim and Michele are the best in the business and know more about Las Vegas travel than many of the influencers who actually live there. They give you the perspective from that of a tourist — which is exactly what I am looking for — without pulling any punches. Despite Tim’s questionable taste in music (lol), listening to this podcast every week is as enjoyable as meeting up with an old friend for a drink. A must-listen pod for all Vegas junkies.

solid investorPodcast enthusiastI subscribed, I unsubscribed, then I subscribed again, now I’m unsubscribing again, this podcast is not interesting or entertaining and I don’t care for the F-bombs, don’t waste your time.
-
rb217999Great for the most part. Look forward to it every weekPro tip: skip the annoying Sergio calls and stay for the Alanzo calls. If you love Vegas and can handle the snark, you’ll love this podcast. Hi Max!!

Denim fritz followerBest Vegas podcastI don’t get all the reviews about Tim being angry all the time . I find him mostly even keeled and like everyone there are things that annoy him. He’s mining them for comedy as opposed to calling for revolution or something. The patreon plug or donation thing at the end of the show is standard for podcasts and I don’t get the complaints about that either . shouldn’t they be able to cover their costs and maybe make some money ? I also like how they really only share things when it’s been verified. When things are a rumor they make sure that’s clear . That’s become rarer in the Vegas space .

EgdbertDeplorablePolitics and uninformed sheeple is a bad combination.

Blakester80222Stop saying Alexa!Normal podcasts say ALady or something so it won’t set her off all over the house. Beware if you listen to this podcast. The Alexa requests fly everywhere. Setting her off every time.
-
Dauber7168Complainer and angryLike all the other reviews here, Tim is angry and bitter. Keeps this podcast alive for the grift.
-
The Vegas LoverPut Together WellClearly these guys have been podcasting for years and have mastered there routine down to a T.. There chemistry is solid with Tim leading the show and Michelle happy to add lib and be the support. I love there phone in trio reports but would encourage them to have guests. This was there Vegas trip report which was well detailed OH the 3 Amigos is typical of an Ainsworth slot but if your winning don’t Whine I’m off there to play it. LOL.
-
Hamster48702Very good and very badThe positives: - Tim really dives deep to dig up what is going on in Las Vegas. Yes, most of what he shares can be found and reported by anyone but Tim is the one actually doing it. - Tim loves Las Vegas but he isn’t a shill for Las Vegas. - The Scorpions are in the intro of each podcast. - Both Tim and his wife, Michelle, have excellent voices for doing a podcast. - The sound quality is outstanding. - A good balance in coverage around hotel casinos, dining, and entertainment. The negatives: - The portion of the show devoted to karma donations and listener calls is a waste of time - I stop listening at this part of each episode. - It isn’t clear to me why Michelle is on the show. Although she has a good voice she makes no substantive contribution to the podcast. - Not enough coverage about gambling in Las Vegas.
-
Bcm7Best Vegas Pod Out ThereI have tried them all and this is bar none the best. Love the info, the banter, and the trio reports from callers. Highly recommend.

brettfarve89119They need a long break from VegasJumped the shark a long time ago. Two people who think their opinions of Vegas matter more than anyone else’s. You get five minutes of real news, 20 minutes of them being Karens, and the rest of the time is filled up with them commenting on people’s phone calls, only being nice if you share their opinion. Best played on 3x speed.
-
KabobitHad to bail - jumped the shark and too much anger.Podcast was good for a number of years, but over the years the host became increasingly difficult to listen to. The host’s schtick of being irritated by little things was funny at first, but it became clear there’s some real anger that isn’t entertaining. Sure there’s some news you can pick up on the podcast, but the news is easily available elsewhere and it became painful to listen to the host complain. Jumped to some other podcast that are upbeat, entertaining and well produced. The irony of this show is that Las Vegas is supposed to be about fun, yet the show exudes anger.
-
Deep Fried PandaTime to hang it up, Tim. FHBM has Jumped the SharkThis used to be a good podcast but it’s devolved into this weird thing that’s just become a grumpy old man being grumpy about everything in Vegas now. We all know that Vegas has become a terrible place to visits now, and that truth has rubbed off onnto this show. Tim just gives off the vibe of a truly unpleasant person. Criticism is fine and all, but a lot of this is actually mean spirited and toxic now. I actually get the impression that these two don’t even like Vegas anymore (understandable, because Vegas is awful now) but have built this brand and are now feeling trapped in it so they keep doing the show to keep their Patreon grift going. It might be time to put this podcast out to pasture, Tim. And I say this as someone who used to listen a lot, and was a Patreon supporter who actually bought your book.
-
thatguyyoumetattheshowReally enjoy thisMoved over seas and miss my quick trips to Vegas every now and then. This pod brings me back to those quick weekend trips I used to take. Interesting take on Vegas from a couple of Minnesotans. Don’t always agree with them but appreciate the insights. Always a fun hour

Rvn_gbBest Las Vegas podcastVery best vegas podcast
-
yenooc2Too negative for my tasteI suppose it could be considered ironic that my primary criticism of this podcast is that Tim is too subjectively critical of too many things. I really wanted to give this podcast four stars, even though I personally will no longer be listening. It’s solidly produced, the banter (though profane) can be laugh out loud funny, I like how much they care about music, and sometimes there is info I hadn’t heard elsewhere. But the most recent episode really tipped the scales for me. I really did not need to hear a lengthy negative opinion of a new hotel feature Tim hasn’t even seen yet. I also definitely didn’t need to hear Tim criticize his wife for having a playlist of birthday songs she enjoys playing on her birthday.
-
Chaser 71864NopeIf you want to listen to someone rant about stupid stuff then this podcast is for you. He just regurgitates info that easily found with a couple solid Twitter follows. I’ve listened to about 10 episodes including the most current. Nothing on this podcast is breaking and some is old news. Of course they have the Vegas Patreon grift going for them. Keep giving these two your money so they can visit Vegas on your dime lol. There’s many better and easier listening podcasts out there.
-
Berts jointMehThe hosts are not as funny as they think they are, and are way too self absorbed. The also seem to be very close to the owner of the D resort and it shows. At times it almost feels like a commercial for the D more than a podcast. They do have some informative news, but nothing you can't get from other Vegas podcasts. Skip this podcast and go with Vitalvegas for that Vegas fix.
-
joejoeweatherspotterAdults onlyAdults only please. Their language is not for anyone under 21 and in some cases under 101.
-
Mattyv82The angerNot sure if it’s a covid thing but Tim’s negativity and anger has gotten worse from show to show. Appreciate the pod for the detailed news and info.
-
RanitobaSweet and Salty Vegas PodcastOpinionated and thorough Vegas podcast. Tim’s the curmudgeon, Michelle’s the diplomat. It’s got the “disc jockey and foil” vibe with a sprinkle of “married couple banter” charm, I always come back because it’s informative and frankly, I prefer hearing the Vegas news through them vs. hunting for it, there is a “hanging out over mimosas” energy. Worth noting that I disagree with them on nearly everything! (How can Tim not like O?!?!) But part of the charm is their reporting on even aspects of Vegas that are not their thing, you get to know them like old friends.
-
Jojo5789BlahA couple of overweight, near fifty-year olds thinking they’re millennials. Opinionated and sarcastic. Better Vegas info elsewhere without all of the attitude.
-
LeftarmstraightNot just my favorite Las Vegas podcastI listen to a lot of podcasts, and Five Hundy was my favorite Las Vegas podcast. Pretty soon I found myself looking forward to the new episodes dropping even when I didn’t have any plans to get back to Vegas anytime soon. Thank you Tim and Michelle for this little bit of joy to look forward to. I can say Five Hundy has become my favorite podcast. Take care, and hopefully we’ll be back to normal and planning the next trip soon!

Yesmelissa1A slice of Vegasy Goodness ™️ every weekLife got you down? Is work a pain? Spend an hour with your ole podcast friends who love Vegas as much as you do. Half the fun is the personality they bring to the table as the process the goings on in Sin City. For example, I know they will cringe I just wrote “Sin City.” They are “friends” who want nothing from you and it’s like you are at the end of a sofa at a house party, hearing their take on things. Hard to put my finger on it, but I look forward to it every week. Hang out with them a while and you will too.
-
KrlozRubenBest VEGAS podcast!I feel like the gentleman that reviewed the show, monday, was listening to the wrong podcast. This isn’t Vegas Vital podcast where you have a drunk middle aged man complaining about everything and being rude.
-
Sky low lowI’m outJust not as good as it once was. That combined with some annoying opinions plus a host of new Vegas podcasts equal later.
-
Wade NDDrunk profane and judgementalIf you like a podcast of a middle age couple who are frequently drunk complaining that everybody doesn’t cater to them this is the podcast for you. Their summary of news gleaned from other sources doesn’t make up for their profanity and rudeness. A lot of their callers are often helpful.
-
Bobbi2018All Things VegasGives the Vegas fix between trips. Love the humor!
-
benacopelandMy Vegas FixI love this podcast. I get a little excited every time a new episode pops up. Tim’s Vegas research is interesting without getting too far into the weeds, and Michelle brings just the right amount of cheer and optimism without being cheesy or over the top. So, if you want an immersive(😂), vegasy experience that will have you clambering for your own air conditioned, umbilical hallway—then this is your podcast.

Twin JewelsAll VegasGreat show full of comedy, information, and an easy way to learn lots about the bright lights city of Las Vegas. Definitely one of my favorite podcasts...Keep up the good work..! -Wendell

Medford Mn MikeGreatListener since February 2005 - great vegas content every week!
-
Jaaaaaaaates yeahExcellent!Great podcast!! The hosts are great and deliver new podcasts weekly. The show keeps me up to date with Vegas news and helps with planning for future trips. If you are obsessed with Vegas... This podcast is for you! If you love the podcast, I would suggest buying the book: The outsiders guide to Las Vegas. But that's another review.
-
BusinessSecretsofthePharoahsNot a normal Las Vegas podcastThese married dweebs love Las Vegas and they share their fixation with others via weekly podcasts! He reminds me of the comic book man from Simpson’s and she doesn’t remind me of anything. They are in their mid 40s and they love to sit down in chairs and they love to talk about their favorite place, Las Vegas! The beginning part of the show has music and talking all at once but if you pay attention you can hear Vince say his famous lines from the movie Swingers= “Vegas, baby!”! Some people online are saying that Tim and Michelle are just smarmy curmudgeons but those people probably have never been to Las Vegas. Viva Five Hundy!
-
CrankasaurFun podcastLove the podcast and have been listening for a few years. Lately the sound quality has been weird. It’s hard to hear Tim, like maybe he’s not talking directly into the mic? Idk, still good but hard for me to hear.
-
PatrindaSadI've listened to this and many other Las Vegas Podcasts. The last podcast will be my last. Each podcast has had an increasing number of F-bombs, tollerable, but I expect better language. But this one made me mad. The complaint about Reba and Brooks and Dunn coming back for more dates is great news for many of us. And you can make fun of it if you're not a country fan. But to visciously describe Reba's face as you did went to far. Who are you to make such a comparison? Do you look like Brad Pitt? Who are you to judge other people's appearences? Total turn off, done with this podcast. There are many other podcasts who are actually happy to like Vegas.
-
Tonymalice1Great showI have been listen to Tim and Michelle for a long time. These guys r great. They were the first pod to get me into the other Vegas pods. Great pioneers in the vegas world when it comes to pods. Can't go wrong listening to them.
-
Airgreg2Best Vegas PodcastI have been listening to his podcast for years. Very informative and entertaining. I loved it so much I bought the book Tim wrote. I love it!
-
*B_RollGreat Vegas VibesA fun, entertaining, and escapist podcast featuring charming married co-hosts Tim and Michelle, who bring their love and knowledge of Las Vegas to listeners, sometimes with the sound of clinking ice cubes in the background, reminding you that it is, in fact, happy hour. Great tips for travel to Vegas, updates on what's happening in that unique city, and a lively community of callers who provide recent trip reports. For every Vegas lover.
-
MMiller414Great LV podcastThe one that started the Vegas media community. Tim and Michelle are Great
-
Danza TonyDanzaBeen a fan for 3 years...This podcast is like an old friend. You can step away for a few weeks or months, and come back and pick up where you left off and not miss a beat. Just the right amount of vegas insider, and snarky it is my opinion take it or leave it attitude that keep it real...hipsters be dammed.
-
Bauer but not JackThe Original, Still GreatI look forward to every weekly episode to get my round up of Vegas news. I very much enjoy hearing their perspective and experiences. Thanks for all the Vegasy podcast goodness! - Adam (VFB)
-
mpc314159The best for VegasIrreverant, casual, often foul mouthed, but still by far the best podast about Las Vegas.
-
justbrentSchticky and hacky---a painful way to get informationI'll start with what's good about the podcast: Tim Dressen does an admirable job of collecting and collating information from public sources. You are not going to hear any exclusive scoops on the podcast, but there is an serviceable amount of information provided. For this reason, I give the podcast two stars. Now the bad. The show relies heavily on endlessly recycled schtick. At first, it's kind of cute and endearing. Eventually, however, a listener can almost predict what will happen next by picking from the following menu of options: (1) Tim complains about the quality of a casino's PR release: (2) Michele (Tim's wife and cohost) makes a juvenile and trite sexual reference based on something that Tim says (think Beavis and Butthead, but less subtle and classy); (3) Tim and/or Michele laments how Las Vegas isn't what it used to be and it's "all about profit now" (because Vegas used to be a non-profit venture); and (4) Tim and Michele brag about how much they drink. The show also frequently plays listener calls. Once again, this initially is kind of fun, but it eventually becomes apparently that the callers are almost exclusively the same group of "wacky characters" (a guy who gives bathroom reviews! A group of gal pals who are "debaucherous" because they...wait for it...drink a lot!). The common thread among almost all calls that get played it that the callers (1) mostly visit places previously reviewed favorably by Tim and Michele and gush their confirmations of how awesome the place is and (2) seem to share first names with the people listed at the end of the program as podcast supporters. Tim and Michele are also vocally uninterested in almost all Vegas entertainment, which is a weird thing for Las Vegas "experts" to eschew. Want to know if a Cirque show is worth the hype? Tim and Michele have no idea. Does Absinthe have any new acts worth going back for? Don't ask them because they proudly refuse to go to see it. The last (but far from least) annoying aspect of the show is the VIMPF nonsense. "VIMPF" stands for Vegas Internet Mafia Family Picnic, which (based on the descriptions from the podcast) is an annual gathering of Vegas aficionados who engage in group activities (mostly on Fremont Street), including live podcasts, over the course of several days in October. If that's your kind of thing, go for it. Personally, it sounds like the opposite of everything I love about Las Vegas. Unfortunately, every year, at some point in the summer, the Five Hundy by Midnight Podcast becomes the "tediously detailed VIMPF preparation and promotion podcast." Listeners get to hear how much Tim and Michele are excited about VIMPF, how "amazing" this year's VIMPF is going to be, and how drunk Tim and Michele got at VIMPF last year. It's every bit as devoid of interesting content as it sounds. I listened for about 18 months before I just couldn't take it any more. I wish I had quit sooner, but I just kept hoping it would turn around and stop being so formulaic and self-referential. Instead, it went the opposite direction.

Ttgopher22The bestGreat show if you loveVegas. Entertaining and informative

DigitalElHosts Are Hella DedicatedFHBM is perhaps the first podcast I ever listened to regularly. Tim & Michele have been at it forever and it's so fun to hang out with them for an hour or so every week. I drift in and out over the years. There's nothing better than listening when you have a trip on the books. Sometimes it can be depressing as hell though when you don't. I enjoy their banter and experience / observations more than drunk dials from idiots I don't know, but hey... It's not my show. Tim & Michele are obviously having fun and it's contagious. I wish I'd been listening to this show BEFORE my first trips to Las Vegas. I've learned so much from them and been entertained the whole way.
-
JaySway52First Vegas podcast ever listened toThis was the very first podcast I've every listened to. It's still one of my favorites after all these years. The way the hosts talk about Vegas gives me an ethusiasm about Vegas that makes me want to book a Vegas vacation right now. Even the times I can't be in Vegas, this podcast is a great placeholder for it. Their news updates and general Vegas talk is refreshing. 5 stars - A staple of the Las Vegas podcasting community
