My favorite mixes for anything requiring the rest of the world to fade into the background. I keep coming back and am so happy there are new episodes. I especially love the website though musicforprogramming.net

Scanning the set of 50 episodes is like time travel to early electronic artists (Tod Dockstader and Raymond Scott) all the way through to recent folks including the contributing track compilers. The crossfades are generally well engineered, to form complete compositions. Much kudos to Datassette for sticking with this for so many years. Please continue!

This podcast basically introduced me to the idea of music specifically to aid concentration while I work, and to several artists I'm now really into. It's been a consistently great listen for 6 years now!

Great mixes, they put you into the right mood and carry you over, but the music is not intrusive. It completely fades into your subconscious. Works very well for concentration in extended periods of time.

I'm really impressed by these mixes (four at the moment). The first two are good, the third is great, and the fourth, compiled by Com Truise, is so improbably perfect that it fades completely into your subconscious. I actually finished more work while listening to these mixes than I had listening to any other music. I'm sold.
