SQmofoepisode on Yesterland.com - awesome! This was fascinating and our family is definitely going to be checking out this website on yesterland.com. I’m so glad there are preserved memories and history of the park. Thanks to Mr. Weiss and thanks for a great podcast Sweepspot!

Bil Van OtterlooGreat podcastI’m now at the age where nostalgia is precious and this podcast fills the need perfectly. I knew Lynn back in his “rock star” days - many years ago. I hope you and your family are doing well. Keep up the great work!

SoCal_JimA Magical Podcast in a mixed-up worldAs a former Disneyland Custodial cast member (1989-91) who does not have a podcast, The Sweep Spot is a must-listen for all Disneyland enthusiasts looking to learn more about the park and resort through the years. Lynn and Ken offer a unique insider perspective on the magic behind the scenes. Their engaging storytelling, fascinating interviews, and deep knowledge of Disney history make each episode a delightful journey. Whether you're reminiscing about past visits or eager to learn about the park's secrets, The Sweep Spot provides an entertaining and informative experience. Their passion for Disney is infectious, making this podcast a joyous and nostalgic trip for all listeners. I am reading through their first “Cleaning the Kingdom” book and it brings back so many great memories of a simpler time in my life. I highly recommend it as well. ~Jim

AZ Diz Fan#1as a disney podcast listener i recently went through and unsubscribed from some of the podcasts i no longer listen to, obviously the sweep spot was not one of them, i love all the interviews as well as the history included in the episodes, i have also read both books and highly recommend to any disney lover, keep up the good work and i look forward to hearing more episodes in the future.

disneygal18Fun to listen to.I love most things about this show. I do think you should vette your guests better - some of these former cast members probably shoud not be guests on podcasts - they ramble, sometimes are inappropriate in the way they talk about other cast members by name and are just hard to listen to for the length of time you allow them to talk unchecked.
-
Aura of ForebodingBeen listening for yearsJust want to say you guys are amazing. I appreciate how your Disney-splaining the park’s history to listeners who might not be aware. We can’t all be blessed with a vast amount of Disneyland knowledge like us. Keep up the good work. Also, I know you guys love to talk about all the good times in custodial, I would love to hear an episode about the bad times. I feel the best Disneyland fan is one that is passionate about it and critical when they need to be.

Jodiemomof4Can’t get enough!I’ve been a listener for white awhile and since I’ve been caught up I decided to go back and listen to episodes from before I joined. It’s just so fun hearing all these stories and picturing what everyone is talking about. I live in Seattle but we try to take our kids the park once a year (my first trip was 1993 at 11yrs old) and it’s so fun to listen to people who have worked there and have a different perspective than a regular guest. Thank you for filling the days with this awesome podcast!!
-
NectarmaidenSo darn interesting!I love the interviews with past castmembers. You never know what you are going to learn about the best Disney Park on Earth. Lynn and Ken are genuine in their love of Disneyland and it shows. So many cool stories!

Emi Rhine❤️Great Disney PodcastMy husband introduced me to Lynn & Ken’s podcast. I always learn new stuff & great information in their podcast. I enjoy listening to the people they invite on the show & their experiences working for Disney.

Ortsac66Best Jingle EVER 🎶🎵🎶The Sweep Spot is one of the first Disneyland centric podcasts I found when planning trips. So delightful! I appreciate Lynn’s and Ken’s decades of knowledge, experience and expertise. Every episode is a must-listen 🙂
-
MouseBear52Lynn and Ken are fun to listen toLynn and Ken have a great rapport and they do an excellent job covering events and everything that is happening at the Disneyland Resort. I especially enjoy their episodes where they interview a former cast member or other former Disney employees from many different divisions of the Company. Whether their guest is a famous imagineer or just someone who worked at the Resort these episodes add insight and depth to why Disneyland is the magical place it is.
-
joemcl516Wonderful look at Disneyland historyI have been listening to this podcast since episode #135 but have never bothered to leave a review before now! But this show is amazing, and I'm thankful for all the car and bus rides it has gotten me through over the past nine years. There is nothing better than hearing Ken's amazement when Lynn announces the episode number, and the show that follows is always chock full of great insight into Disneyland history or entertaining guests. I would recommend this show to any Disneyland fan without hesitation!

Coast to coast CMOne of my favorite Disney PodcastsI came across The Sweep Spot podcast a few years back and it has become one of my favorites. If you are a Disney fan, or even former cast member, you will definitely enjoy listening. Lynn, Ken, and their guests always have fascinating stories to share that you won’t hear anywhere else. Thank you to you both for producing such an excellent show.

Mark from ‘togaSweep Spot is a must listen for Disney buffs…and highly recommended for all Disneyland fansI have been listening to Lynn and Ken’s superb Sweep Spot podcasts for over a year now… apologies for the late review. My wife is also hooked now. Each episode is full of interesting anecdotes, prognostication, history and humor. It never disappoints and always brings a smile and brightens our day. Ken and Lynn are doing a great service for the oral history of Disneyland by talking to people from all different aspects of the park. Their stories and perspectives are amazing and helps us appreciate the parks and the people behind them so much more. Ken and Lynn have over 350 podcasts archived so you will not run out of things to listen to anytime soon. This is crazy level of dedication and love for the subject and the audience. If you’re lucky you can keep up with their pace, but good luck catching up. If you’re new to the podcast do yourself a favor and listen to the Jim Korkis episodes… his books are amazing but there’s nothing comparable to listening to him go on…and on and on :). His passing is truly sad and a loss for the Disney community…but thanks to Lynn and Ken there’s a lot that will live on in addition to his published work. RIP Jim and thank you! Thanks so much Ken and Lynn…stay crazy :). We’ll be ordering some shirts and books for the holidays…and supporting via patreon! cheers, Mark and Amelia Saratoga, CA

Jeff BengfordThe Best Podcast!I have been listening to Ken and Lind for a number of years and I just love the show! I am not sure that the experiment with the new format for delivering the news works as well as the old format though. Ken’s deep, rich voice is perfectly suited for delivering Disney news, which is then always commented on by Lynn’s calm, assuring tone. Thank you both for continuing to enrich the ears of your faithful listeners!

LilSteph4Behind the scenes golden nuggetsI recently started listening to this podcast and I love hearing all the former cast member stories. Getting to hear all the amazing little nuggets of information of what it was like to work at Disneyland is just a highlight of my week. Thank you Lynn and Ken for all these wonderful interviews!
-
XrossbonesDoing Disneyland RightAs a long time annual pass holder (I mean Magic Key holder) living in Northern California, I look forward to listening to these two every week to help keep my Disneyland itch scratched. From the current events to the plethora of guests, this podcast is a treasure trove of Disneyland history and knowledge. I personally learn something new every episode I listen too and you have inspired my brother and I to start our own podcast as well. Keep up the good work Ken and Lynn

Keeekert09Best part of my day!I have recently gotten into Disney podcasts after being a Disneyland fan for many years. There is something about listening to two people who have been immersed in the parks for a time. I really enjoy listening to the updates and fun facts about the park. I wait for the newest episode to come out and truly just enjoy listening to your expertise and history! Thank you so much for being a bright spot in so many peoples day!
-
Fortnite GawdGreat podcast!Enjoy learning about the behind the scenes of Disney. Nice break from my true crime podcasts. My mom’s company would close down for the nights. Miss those days!!!

myattgreenBest Disneyland podcast out thereThe Sweep Spot podcast is the best Disneyland podcast I’ve listened to. I have spent the past 5 months listening to all 272 episodes (minus the first 4 or so that I couldn’t find) and the current hosts, Ken and Lynn are terrific! Lynn’s sincerity and professionalism are the perfect complement to Ken’s wit, “dad humor” and radio voice. They provide a perfect mix of Disney history, with stories from their time working in the parks as sweepers. My favorite interviews have been with legends such as Toni Baxter and Rolly Crump, but I also love episodes with Dave Smith, Jim Korkis, and David Koenig. As a former Southern Californian, and a current Southern Utahn, I feel like I relate to both Ken and Lynn and really appreciate their hard work and dedication to putting each episode out. Keep up the great work! Updated to add: after listening to episode 358, I have to add Tom Morris and Rick West to my list of favorite interviews! Thanks guys!!

K&K ListenerIf you love Disneyland, you will love this show! This show really immerses you in the Magic every week! Great show and guests!

DavidRacBy Disneyland Fans, for Disneyland FansThis show has quickly become my favorite, “go-to” podcast covering Disneyland. The hosts are knowledgeable and inject the right mix of facts, humor, and even sarcasm where appropriate and are always fun to listen to. Congratulations on a great show.
-
www.bigbrian-nc.comNow 55% more concentrated!I have enjoyed the Sweep Spot podcast for a number of years now, but I think it bears saying that the recent adjustments to the format of the show, splitting it up between news episodes and feature episodes (usually interviews ), has seemed to make this always “better than average” Disney fan podcast into a more consistently powerful show, congratulations you guys on a show that has found a way to continue to improve.

RedSterling17A great listen that isn't artificialI've been listening to this podcast for years now and had even gone back to listen from the beginning. I love the perspective they bring to the stories and experiences they share. But what I love most is that they are just a genuinely nice couple of guys sharing what they love with out the extra artificial sugary high energy that some Disney related podcasts seem to fall into at times. Lynn and Ken are low key, but it's a very conversational format and still very fun - not HEY WE'RE DISNEY WOOHOO injected into every other sentence. I liked their podcast so much that asked Lynn if he could put together a package for me consisting of both books AND both thumb drives, which he gratefully did - signed and everything. Because as much as I love to read, Ken does a great job narrating the audiobook and they include some cool pictures too. I've even recently trimmed back the podcast subscribers I listen to regularly, but these guys are still at the top of the list! Great stuff guys, keep it coming.

DannyJ795Great podcastI have been listening to the sweep spot podcast for years and I really love it. I love hearing about the history of the park and all of the guest interviews with former cast. It is truly a great podcast!
-
tashaljHanging in the break roomThis is a great podcast where you get a chance to be a fly on the wall in a cast member break room (not that there are any pests in the cleanest break room on earth). You get to hear former cast members shooting the breeze in a relaxed jovial way. Reminiscences on park years past as well as perspectives on current events are given with equal measure. Their intimate knowledge of the workings of the park, and what lies behind that mineral hall door, is always appreciated.
-
cheers2fun1Favorite Disneyland Podcast! As a former cast member, this podcast brings me back to the magic I felt while working at Disneyland. It’s like I’m sitting around with friends listening to fascinating “behind the scenes” stories of the happiest place on earth. Especially love the park history episodes (w Jim Korkis) and episodes where you chat with former cast members. Thanks so much, Ken and Len!
-
RichC in San Diego“Year” EpisodesReally enjoy your “year” historical episodes very much! Especially with the guests you have on. The new split format is nice too. Keep it up! - Rich

Ray2d2Great source of Disneyland knowledgeThis is my favorite Disneyland podcast. Tons of great guests especially the episodes with author Jim Korkis. Is there a better Disney podcast out there? I don’t think so

jpodblueHighlights the Depth and History of DisneylandI started listening to the Sweep Spot two months ago when I was looking for a Disney podcast, not knowing it highlights the history and behind the scenes of Disneyland, and it is now my favorite Disney-related podcast. I love learning from the host and guests. My favorite so far is Wendy James and how she extends the Disney magic into the school district she now leads as a custodian. This podcast has taught me Disney is all around us and the lasting influences Disneyland has on technology, engineering, culture, and joy in Southern California and around the world. Thank you to the hosts for their time and energy! I just bought their books and excited to read them.
-
DGH and YetiGreat background on operations at DisneylandTwo former custodians provide insight on operations at Disneyland. Nice stories from them and their guests. Also providing a summary of current events at Disneyland.
-
Kraig from Brooklyn, NYA brush of the inside scoopThis 2 former cast members give a great cast member POV with a hint of nostalgia. These episodes have a fruitful amount of evergreen infotainment

tracelpad[STILL] Love this podcast!I first started listening to this fascinating podcast while I was awaiting orientation and training for my custodial position at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando. The three week wait between accepting my job and orientation felt endless, and my curiosity was killing me. As I was sifting through Disney podcasts on iTunes, I stumbled across this unicorn. Who would’ve thought there would be a podcast hosted by two former Disney land custodians?! Lynn and Ken filled in the blanks with their wonderful stories on keeping the Kingdom clean, and I arrived on the job, armed with lots of knowledge, and an appreciation of Disney culture, ready to take up my broom in pan in the noble calling. Even though they were at “the Land” years ago, and I am at “the World” now, some things never change and I love knowing my custodial heritage. Lynn and Ken have a fantastic rapport, countless interesting guests, and more stories than you can shake a broom at! Thanks, gents! It is my honor to carry forward your tradition. Off to my Epcot shift! Tracey.

Dallas KeateThe #1 Disneyland Podcast… EVER!Ken and Lynn always joke that they are the #1 Disneyland podcast hosted by former custodians. But I put them as my #1 podcast above any other podcast I’ve ever listened to! Every episode is filled with exclusive stories and facts about Disneyland you wouldn’t find anywhere else! If you are a die hard Disneyland fan then this is the holy grail of podcasts!! Their current events segment always keeps me up to date with everything that is happening at the park. They have a wide variety of guests that provide insider stories from every position and perspective that goes into Disneyland. Lynn and Ken have the greatest humor and always keep the show entertaining. They also play subtle Disneyland music in the background that adds a nice touch. The hosts are incredibly engaging and inclusive with their listeners outside of the podcast too. Reaching out through online communities and providing lots of extra content through Patreon. You can tell that they go the extra step to include their listeners and fans. Overall, everything just comes together so perfectly with the sweep spot. There is never an episode I’ll miss, and you will always find me going back to older episodes!! Truly the greatest podcast of all time :)
-
Salvatorez RockyNumber one podcast on Earth!!!I’m hook definitely the greatest podcast ever!!!! I recently found your podcast and can’t stop listening. You guys are awesome. I’m a former cast member and you guys talk about things I saw when I was there. The history on the articles is on point. I also love your stories about taking to former cast members. Hope you can do more of those. Oh and I’m getting your book soon. Thank guys.
-
GoGoGadgetMikeyWhat An Incredible Resource!I can’t recommend this podcast… ENOUGH! It’s the number one Disneyland podcast in the world… hosted by two former Disney custodial Cast Members. In all seriousness, these two have incredible insight to the park, and their guests are so fun and diverse and smart. Truly, this is the best Disneyland podcast, I love it. They also have two books (which I admittedly have not read yet) that are widely acclaimed in the Disneyland community. I can’t wait to receive my copies! Keep it up, fellas. I’ve been listening to you for years now, and I look forward to each new episode! (Your taste in music is great too!)
-
Nick ValdoThe #1 Disney PodcastI’ve been listening to the Sweep Spot podcast ever since I heard about it, mentioned by Jeff Bahm from Mousetalgia/DoomBuggies podcast. I would say I started listening at episode 288 (288 wow!)Most episodes include an additional former cast member, and I always enjoy the behind-the-scenes stories they share, whether it involves a celebrity, a special event or a story that maybe helped bring the magic to a guest. I love the podcast, love what you guys are doing. Fan-for-life, Nick V.
-
Marie_with_an_eA Disney Podcast GemGreat content, interesting interviews with guests, & timely updates/news. Overall, a fun podcast to listen to when you’re in the mood for a little more in depth Disney. If you love this podcast, check out their books as well! I picked up Cleaning the Kingdom during a Disneyland trip a while back & loved it! Looking forward to getting the second book soon.
