I’m always interested and surprised by every episode
Love love love the long form deep dives into every topic. The yard stick against which you will come to measure all other podcasts.

Great Science, Physics, Aviation, and Tech podcast
My favorite science podcast that goes deep. Very structured and the host does a great job to put things in perspective and summarize points in his own words. I would love to have an episode about FPGAs. @German speakers: #298 Interessanter Einblick in die Dynamik der beider am Ende bei der ehrlichen und offenen Diskussion.

    Awesome podcast
Very well developed and interesting podcast. I wish I spoke german so that I could listen to the rest of the episodes.

    Truly fascinating!
I have likely reviewed before but after the Apache episode I just needed to write again. To use an American baseball analogy, Markus and team have hit one out of the park with this one! Loved all the details of the aircraft and its application on missions. My only regret with this podcast is that I don’t speak German so I miss a few episodes. Keep up the good work l.

    One of the best
Truly one of the best long-form interview podcasts available. If you are interested in aviation, miltiary or civilian, this podcast is a must-listen.

Top notch science & engineering interviews
If you are itnerested in science & engineering, Omega Tau is the best place to get in-depth discussions on myriad topics. Look through the archives and find a topic you like to be surprised with the depth that is covered.

    Too long
I’m an aerospace engineer who would love to hear about all of these topics, but who has an empty block of 2 to 3 hours in a day to hear about it? Some topics are even longer than 3 hrs when you combine the different parts. Good stuff and thank you for putting these out there, but please summarize and cut the fat where you can. I stopped listening a while ago because I couldn’t do it anymore

    Listening to Professionals
Back in the 1960's the car magazine Road&Track had a very erudite European correspondent Henry N Manney III. He had a saying: "It's always good to watch a professional at work". Markus shows that "It's always good to listen to a professional talk about the work."

Great in depth podcast on science and engineering
The hosts cover a very wide range of topics, but especially great if you're into space flight, flight in general (and gliders specifically) as well as fundamental physics. Keep up the great work Omega Tau!

    Excellent technical discussion
    Awesome podcast Markus as always!

    Very enjoyable!
What all aviation/aerospace podcasts should be — this is a perfect blend of technical detail and interesting personal stories. I love the relaxed interviews where the pilot, engineer, or author is given the opportunity to thoroughly explain what they are talking about. I’m generally not a fan of long podcasts, but this one packs relevant information into every minute.

Enjoyable and educational for an engineering student
Really enjoy listening to this podcast: it goes into more detail than any aviation podcast I've ever heard. I've learned a lot about the actual industry, which is a useful compliment to my studies in Aerospace Engineering. And the friendliness of the interviews is really nice. Can't recommend it enough.

    Best Science Podcast
Omega Tau provides the best Science podcasts on the web. They are not toned down to appeal to high school students. I especially enjoy your Physics podcasts.

    Chaos
I discovered Omega Tau just recently and am working my way through podcast titles that pique my interest. This one did that because a few years ago I had read the excellent book of the same title by James Gleick. The podcase added a great deal to my understanding of this fascinating scientific subject. In addiiton it was superbly produced by Omega Tau. I wish I undrstood German so I could listen to all of the titles.

    Worth every minute...
The interview with Red Bull Air Race pilot Matt Hall is fantastic. Vielen Dank, Markus!

    Super Awesome!
Thanks so much for this podcast! I am a technical person and I appreciate you for giving me something to listen to that doesn’t compromise on the technical detail.

    Awesome
This is a fantastic podcast covering a wide range of science and engineering topics. The producers have the ability to connect to their interviewees and make all the topics very approachable and understandable. Once of my favorite podcasts!

    Excellent podcast
Markus Voelter has created a one of a kind podcast for people who like to geek out on the finer details of complex technology and engineering. He poses intelligent questions to his guests, and allows his listeners to get a peak inside feats of engineering such as the Apollo program, the SR71 black bird, and the Large Binocular Telescope. That's just the tip of the iceberg. There's dozen's of episodes to choose from. Check it out.

    Informative
Many of these are a bit long, but often contain information I have not found elsewhere. Be patient. Would benefit from editing for brevity.

Most interesting Podcast encountered so far
This podcast is simply great. I have often listened to podcasts in the past wishing they would go a little deeper into the topic. Omega tau does just that. With episodes often being 1 1/2 hours, sometimes over 2 hours long they have a lot of time to explore their topics. It also seems that the hosts are always very well prepared. Thank you for making this great podcast and offering it for free! Please keep on making new episodes!

    Awesome
Awesome show Markus! Keep it going! Also, I love your space episodes. When will you have the moon special up?
  • @ndr3wc
Very Good for Technically Minded Listeners
My favorite episode so far is the one about nuclear fusion. Markus Voelter has a natural ability to do technical interviews and he has made an effort to seek out really interesting topics and people. Highly recommended.
