    Chandra Thomas Whitfield
Glad you joined Colorado Matters. Appreciate the stories you cover. However, you often sound like you’re reading a script, pausing every now and then and changing your intonation to make it appear like you’re not reading. You’ve been in Colorado for a while now. Perhaps you can stop insinuating that we’re a “backwards” state that would not have a Black ballroom scene, for example. No, there’s not a large Black population here but we have a strong and deep history, and rich culture. You often sound surprised, and when that happens we’ll hear your patented, “Wow.” I’d like to encourage you to get out more. Not knowing anything about the history and roots of ballroom, voguing, etc. — Where have you been? There are so many things you seem to have had no exposure to — try reading more, and expanding your horizons, beyond middle-class, “respectable” Black life. The aforementioned will help make you a more well-rounded and sophisticated interviewer. And, again, please stop reading -

    Colorado Matters really matters
I’ve been listening to this program for years and I am continually intrigued, inspired and challenged by the variety of topics the program tackles about our great state. Ryan Warner is a superb host and interviewer, and I’m enjoying getting to know Chandra Thomas Whitfield as a host as well. Keep up the great work. Loved Tom Hesse’s interview w the director Josh Berman and Trevor Kennison of the Netflix documentary Full Circle. Great reporting as always.

Just name it LGBTIAA Matters already
I understand public radio will be slightly leaning left but this is too much. Ryan, start discounting what sycophants say and bring more general interest topics. Otherwise, start covering everyone, including little people, fat people, disabled people, neurodiverse people etc, equally. I’ll give it a few more weeks before unsubscribing.

    4/14/23 Ukraine War
The 4/14/23 episode on the war in Ukraine was great! Probably the best thing I’ve heard on CPR. Well Done!

    Find balance
After finding this pod I thought it was going to be more of a balanced conversation. As Colorado has trended more & more blue I see more conflicting guests. Once a week there is one of the panel that feels it necessary to air their grievance that happens to be the Fox News talking point for that week

    Woke
Woke politics and victim supremacy masquerading as news.

Veneer of neutrality over blatant political bias
I used to recommend this podcast to friends and family as a good source of local Colorado news that was more focused on real people and issues then playing politics. I am no longer able to do that honestly. This show marginalizes real issues for many Coloradans like the ACA and how it severely hurt rural Colorado communities as well as the businesses permanently destroyed by the BLM riots. At the same time it devotes massive segments to the other side of both those issues and many others pushing the leftist narrative. It as another disgusting example of the the biased leftist coverage that we are expected to swallow as a factual news source.

    A favorite
I love this show but often miss it on the radio. Glad to see it as a podcast so I can catch what I miss. I have lived many places. This is the best show focused on state issues that I have found.

The podcast hasn't updated in days. Reported concern.

    Good, but there are problems.
Overall, a wide variety of interesting topics, but the political bias is a bit much. They question conservative people very well, but don't put forth the same level of criticism when speaking with "progressive" guests. It's frustrating, but like I said, it's interesting and that's what I care about most.

    Great stuff for Coloradans
Ryan Warner (the host of Colorado Matters) was just recognized as the best radio talkshow host by a local magazine. Sounds right to me...he is thoughtful, educational and entertaining. I love being able to catch the pieces I miss live via iTunes. Makes me glad I contribute to CO public radio. Thanks all!
