DJEsquireGood for Company Shills :)If you can get through the fact that the hosts are employed by the team and paid to be homers, there is some really good content here, especially since the team steers player/staff interviews their way. However, it’s a consistent, incredibly sunny take on the team that often ignores obvious criticism. Still worth a listen, especially when the team is playing well, but don’t expect much in-depth analysis, as these are fan/employees with an expertise in content creation and not independent baseball analysts.

cafinikasPMOnot giving this pod 5 stars until they learn to make the audio way louder. have to turn volume all the way up to hear and then commercials are always 100x louder for the biggest conceivable jump scare

MetsLady6TrashThese men are a mess. Vito is obnoxious. Had to stop listening to the incoherent conversations during the postseason. They need to stop talking about other sports, stop talking about themselves. Can’t believe this is the team’s official podcast. Head over to SNY’s “The Mets Pod” or “Why Am I a Mets Fan?” for better content & professionalism! Mets org should hire a woman (shocker!) like Samantha Croston to co-host the official show. Because women (remember us?) make up a huge portion of the fan base. These bros are tired.

Three Holes in OneWaste of Time by Childish HostsIf you consider this Pod worth while you have a lot of time on your hands. This is one hour with each of the two principals yelling at each. Why not listen to any of the real Pods covering the Mets on a daily or regularly scheduled times per week. Just tune in to Locked on Mets, The Mets Pod or either of the Pods hosted by Trevor Pluth. Real conversation or important daily topics thoroughly discussed. I am confident that a mature reader interested in the Mets will appreciate listening to any of the many Pods available more than this jibberish.

TheCMoney21Awesome coverage of the Mets!Jon and Vito are great in giving a holistic and optimistic overview of the Mets. They do interviews of players and officials to help you get to know them. They engage the fans with calls and encouraging activities. They talk about happenings for the Mets on and off the field including the minors. It is a must listen for fans to be officially informed about the New York Mets.

Davey 1979The banter is terribleAlso the interviewees are random and Baron’s political comments are insane. Please bring back Josh Lewin.
-
pa mets fanUnlistenableThis podcast has become unlistenable. The interviews are nonsense and yield little of interest or value. Future of Flushing which has gone away was much more interesting and compelling. Time to unfollow.
-
JonesemAwfulThese clowns ramble on about the Rangers and random topics more than they actually talk about the Mets. There’s very little actual analysis even when they do talk about the team. Audio quality is horrendous too. If you're looking for a good Mets podcast check out the Mets Pod and Shea Station, both of which are infinitely better than this.

Mark of distinctionMetsPlease bring back Josh Luen podcast Absolutely the best Mets podcast ever

BestguyintheuniverseevereverrNY ShowIt's a New York Mets show: too much rangers and Indiana Hoosier talk
-
Octavarium93Love this showI love that it’s about the Mets but it comes from a very real place. It’s not statistics and analytics heavy at all, they do fun interviews and talk about what’s going on around the park. Would definitely like to run into these guys at the Apple
-
SuzKohlGreat podcast!I love the banter between the hosts
-
HgjfgybGreat, but…Episodes are way too long. Interviews are great but that’s about it.

brad SD Met fanReviewI started listening to Metsd up podcast. Since your inception, I have started listening to this podcast. I consider myself a student of the game. I am also a lifelong Met fan. Consider myself realistic regarding Mets seasons. I think this podcast is clearly whitewash for Mets corporate headquarters. You can hear the lack of any real criticism or baseball critique whatsoever. The guest interviews have absolutely no depth whatsoever. John is very into Mets trivia. That’s nice, but I want to hear about contemporary Mets, and here about their process more so than glowing how great these marginal players are. If this season doesn’t turn around, I feel like it will be hard to continue the blind optimism and the podcast will certainly fail.
-
Steven lordFix your audioI really wanted to give this podcast a try. I was really interested in listening to all the interviews. But most of your episodes have lousy audio and it’s hard to hear anyone that’s talking. get better equipment, fix your audio, and I will come back and give you guys another shot and possibly increase my rating.

LGNYMLovin meeting at the Apple!Would like an episode with Zack Short!
-
TheJoeyPicklesGood Information, but CorporateGood information for our Mets! Would have given it 5 stars, but clearly Corporate feel. The hosts clearly patting the organization on the back, but is what it is. Need to allow hosts to be critical.

Deb4117PodcastLove this Podcasts casual format. Very enjoyable!!
-
DickGrundyM@TA!Really fun listen. Hosts do a great job of keeping it light and letting the players relax. They clearly have so many “programed” media answers - they are, after all, professionals - but once they get loose it’s fun to hear a human side of them. Keep it coming, gents!

ETC9211Oof…pretty terrible.Sorry, guys, but this pod is a whiff of epic proportions. Production value is terrible, hosts are amateur, and the content is basically a PR fluff piece. I tried to listen. I wanted to like it. But really just a terrible disappointment.

OnusHoosierAre you kidding me?So we used to have Mets in the Morning which was an informative recap of the game from the day before. But we dropped that so we can know what the players doppelgängers are? Please tell me you are kidding me. We don’t care what a players favorite snow cone flavor is. We want to see them win and know what they’re doing TO win. That’s it. Do better Uncle Steve
-
Kid around the blockFirst 2 episodes were great! This was a great listen! Looking forward the guests they have on the show. We need to have Mike Piazza and Jerry Seinfeld on this at some point.
-
Noah SilversteinDavid wright interviewGreat interview. Fast pace. Really funny too !! Great listen wish it was a little longer.
-
mrtygavQuality is mehEasily fixable -SPEAK UP. Hard to hear. Sounds like we are a few tables away from some guys just chatting at their table. But like any Mets fan, I will hang in there.
