The best podcast around!!

I don’t even know where to start, I loved these guys on the Ticket. I like that they are DFW sports centric, but the political op ed segments are out of control. I was an early Patreon subscriber, but unsubscribed from everything the day Jake laughed at the Trump assassination attempt. I understand Jake is a PoliSci genius cause he learned everything he needed to know at Texas State, but I don’t think an attempt on someone’s life is a great bit to run with. I have not been listening regularly because I won’t even subscribe to their free content, but admit I do tune in now and then for some sports and entertainment news, just hard to stay engaged with the extreme political views.

Y’all are great and have been a staple of my media consumption since I was in elementary school… less Sarah.

I am a huge fan of the radio station these guys came from, and they were a big part of my daily listening of that station. But now, through podcast, Dan and Jake can give us more as well as unfiltered comments, opinions and stories. More Blake, more pizza Fridays.

The talent level has definitely dropped at the ticket since this guy and his minions left. You get my $7.47 that I never thought I would pay. And due to the format flexibility. I haven't listened to 1310 in months. I do miss Donnie. Old hard line.

Just listen it’s worth it I promise.

It’s like the ticket came home early from a business trip and found its wife was secretly involved in a swingers club. So they moved to a house on a college campus and end up starting a frat for middle-aged dudes who have lost a step. Then one accidentally sleeps with his boss’s daughter who turns out is still in high school while another one shoots himself in the neck with a tranq dart while the sound of silence plays. Then, after some lube wrestling, they eventually have to save the frat by winning the annual fraternity competition on campus through a combination of contemporaneous speaking and ribbon dancing. Its a pretty fun listen.

This is by far the best “recreational” podcast on the internet. It goes beyond comedy.

These guys are sports, and also recreation. But they weave in news and not just local, they cover news from all over (even Hood County). And then there is the comedy. Top notch.

So much comedy it should be called recreation.
