Great podcasts, great guests, very cute couple. Carol is wonderful! Duran is a great guy. I have one very minor criticism for him. He needs to improve his podcast interview technique. He asks good questions, but he has a tendency to re-word the guest’s answers and ask them to confirm his interpretation of the answer and topic. That’s fine communication in a private conversation or in a classroom. But it not good form as an interviewer. It causes him to talk too much (we want to hear the guest) and reinterpret his guest’s answer. He does this far more often with female guests. Let the guest answer and have the final word on each question, even if you wish to say more. Save your reflections for after the interview.

Love listening to players tell their stories and get to know their journey. It’s nice to hear the players give a candid account of their experience on the tour. I look forward to the podcast and getting to know the more personal side of players!

Caro has been my favorite tennis player for 10 years now, but that’s not what makes this an amazing podcast! Caro and her partner have a beautiful way of interviewing their guests. You learn so much, get to hear from players about their lives, experiences and the tours…. And it’s fun and serious all at the same time. Caro and her partner have a unique way of bringing out the information and the best in each guest, without being intrusive. The respect they all have for each other is clear. Also, because Caro is my favorite player, I enjoy getting to know more about her just by listening to her questions and interaction with everyone. Caro, you’re an amazing player and an even more amazing person! A complete class act!!!

A must listen for all tennis fans!

This was an excellent inside look into the life of tennis player Carolina Garcia. Particularly interesting to me were her very open discussions about her perfectionism and how much comments on social media really negatively affect players. Carolina, my family was there when you won the Western & Southern in Cincinnati and your joy was wonderful to see. Remember - once a champion in Cincinnati, you are always a champion to us!

Love the probing questions, behind the scenes insights and friendly banter with tennis greats. Looking forward to more player interviews.

Love hearing from people — players and coaches — who bring an interesting perspective on the game and life in the sport. Insightful and conversational interview questions. The interviews with Vika and with Patrick M were particularly top-notch.

The podcast with Vicha was a great listen. She tells her story and really shares her story and journey.

It was suggested by another podcaster that their listeners check out this episode as they believe that you’re doing quite good work. Usually Andréy is overlooked by other tennis professional writers based on many factors. Tennis Insider was obviously able to put him at ease because he didn’t miss a beat in conveying his insightful thoughts regarding all aspects of tennis and its impact on his life. All credit to the interviewers. I’ll be a future regular listener.

I really wanted to love this as a tennis fan, but somehow even the most dynamic and exciting players were interviewed in a way that limited their personalities. As a huge Ons and Monfils fan, I think both of their interviews did a huge disservice to them. The questions weren’t particularly thought -provoking and left little room for candid exchange. I’m not familiar with the host, but I think a change there could really elevate this.

An earnest and captivating look inside the beautiful and brutal world of professional tennis. I greatly enjoyed the first episode and am looking forward to future interviews. Go Caro!

I’ve never played tennis before but I’ve been a passionate supporter of tennis throughout my adult life. There’s no sport I love more than tennis. I watch it, I listen to podcasts and I read voraciously about the game. I’m happy to add this podcast to my collection. It was nice to hear Caroline Garcia explain herself, her game and her tennis adventures. One thing I try not to do is making harsh criticisms the players I love and follow and have often wondered why some fans go to the extent of making threats against players they profess to admire. I’m looking forward to seeing Caro win a grand slam one of these days
