Encouraging and solid experience

Dawn is a great interviewer. She keeps the pace going quickly and full of information. Well thought out questions and guided responses in order to present information helpful and needed to new homeschooling parents or ones considering homeschooling. I hmschld 3 for 11yrs (25 yrs ago) & appreciate both ladies presentation of their experiences and recognize the wisdom they both shared. I was unexpectedly and personally encouraged by the podcast, considering I recently heard one of my children may begin homeschooling one of my grand children & therefore I’m sure I will be involved at least somewhat in that endeavor. I feel it was not an accident, but the Holy Spirit’s leading that I heard this podcast believing somehow in the future dawn will be an excellent resource and support for us. I loved listening to this podcast! As a homeschool mom of 3 children, I feel in total alignment with everything said here! I love how it explains that you do what is best for your family’s flow. At first I was very strict, and now after 10 years of homeschooling, we free school. We use life experiences as our learning! My 16 year old is learning welding as a trade, my 14 year old has opened his own business that’s doing great, and my 8 year old is flourishing in life and becoming a very confident girl. Thanks for creating an awesome and informative podcast for us already homeschooling, and for those who are interested!

Wow 🤩!!! I just listened to the “Benefits of Homeschooling” episode and it do resonated with me. Being the mom of two very gifted neurodivergent children, homeschooling has been the blessing we were needing and looking for. Homeschooling can provide you the opportunity to choose the curriculum(s) that work best with the way in which your child learns, which is something I take for granted and didn’t think about until I listened to this episode. Thank you Dawn for reminding me that it’s not only flexibility of schedule, but of learning both academically and socially. Like why hadn’t I put it together with the taking them out to grocery shop and run errands as a form of socialization?!? Mind blown 🤯 I love it 🥰 and I love this new podcast!! I just shared it with one of my friends who’s thinking about homeschooling and it will be a go to resource going forward for sure!
