Bojado72Great if ur fan of adsLove my ads with a little show so this is rad
-
MegCinBuffaloWhat podcast?Sound clip followed by 5-10 minutes of ads. Host bitter the trial is over and there won’t be anything left to milk.
-
Ctmb18Good show. Too short.I really like Tony and am invested in all murdaugh related content but why is the show like 5 minutes of content and the rest is ads? It’s all ads after the 5 min segment. Podcasts are supposed to be something we can relax and settle into. This is blink of an eye and over.
-
Belinda RaeAd at endIt continues 10 min or longer at the end and repeats to the point that I no longer care to listen to this podcast.
-
SusienyerWhy bother to do a podcast that is only five minutes long?Ot, more important, to listen to it. Come on, please do better than this.
-
Clarice22Was that only a commercial?Barely any content, tons of repetitive ads. “Shopify”… now you have the gist of the whole 21 min episode I heard.
-
Kathyb527OmgWhat is with the repetitive ads ? half the time is ads! So done with this deleting my following
-
OfficerwifeyW018 minutes of ads in a 12 minute show!I hope you like ads, because that’s all this show is… and they’re so repetitive it’ll make you set your eyelashes on fire trying to skip. Great content but not worth the hassle.
-
JMDAZZLESGreat content and worth the $40 for the year. NO ADS!If we pay, why would we continue to hear ads? I was in the wrong podcast. Listeners, make sure you find the premium plus shows and EACH episode should say SUBSCRIPTION EPISODE.
-
Jennifer-FreenowWill plead guilty to get Club Fed timeHe’ll definitely plead and get federal.
-
NinasaccAds prioritized over contentThis podcast, as well as many others within the network appear to be splices of content from longer form shows that relate to the podcast subject. I will download a 12 minute episode, but it will be 10 minutes of ads, making it a 2 minute “episode”. A sound-byte is not enough and the host(s) often come off as insensitive. Leaving a review in hopes that it changes as I do like having the focused topics.
-
Erin Anne 1973TerribleThere is like two minutes of content and then ten minutes of the same Cox commercial over and over again.
-
MaryM-DNot StatterfieldGloria SATTERFIELD was another victim of the Murdaugh shenanigans. Please give her, and her family, the respect of pronouncing her name correctly. Satterfield not Statterfield.
-
M. EasonSay the names right!Statterfield?! I want to scream every time I hear it mispronounced. And Harpootilan.. you can do better.
-
KDUNCWYou are killing me with the adsI love the podcast, but hearing the same ad three, sometimes four times in a row? Maddening. I literally will be running across the room to get to my phone to hit the fast forward button. The commercial section of this podcast could be used to torture political prisoners. I honestly think it would be more effective than waterboarding.
-
Coach AllyPainfully mispronounces namesIf you are going to do a true crime podcast, PLEASE learn how to pronounce the names of people involved. It’s painful to listen to. Not to mention the 20 minutes of the same commercials repeated over and over for every 10 minutes of podcast. Super annoying.
-
GeeDavieIf You Like Ear Candy With Little To Know Thoughtful DialogThis is the Podcast for you. Clearly starting with (and mostly stopping there) a gravelly voiced “Tony” as the star element. Then move on to volume by employing a short shallow buckshot approach to any case that can be found (on the front pages of newswpapers). This Podcast is on the exact other side of the pendulum swing from “In The Dark” and “Bone Valley”. If you like fluff, please do listen to the commercials on repeat that start and end this overly engineered audible delight.
-
FinancialgalLittle ContentI like that this podcaster can get interviews or other content with key individuals. But the actual interview or other content is sandwiched between so many ads or promos. Short episodes with even thinner content relative to the episode title
-
Leann4194Poor sound qualityI stopped listening on podcast because the sad quality was really bad.
-
pearlwbSo. Many. Ads.I’ve never listened to a podcast with more ads. Sometimes, the same ads are played 2, 4, 5 times in a row. Impossible to listen to, even when using the fast forward function.
-
PJS1022The Worst Podcast EverTen minute podcasts at most and half of it is commercials for wine and gambling.
-
pjb2223HARPOOTILAN???Wow. Biggest story you may ever cover and you can’t correctly pronounce the defense lawyers name?
-
Listener2021:)Short episodesDon’t make a podcast unless all episodes are over 30 min! For the love.
-
T 595AdvertisementsThe content of this podcast is great. Unfortunately, it consists of repeated advertisements, sometimes one ad repeated 2 to 4 times in one episode. Maybe an editing problem. Just need to know when to turn it off at the end.
-
K9KIP🌟🔥🌟 Great ContentUggh the commercials -Not a good balance.
-
vcu1973Interesting and informative but not always accurateI have listened to every podcast about this trial and have watched the trial on tv. Your coverage is informative, but please pronounce Gloria Satterfield’s name correctly. It is not Statterfield. Also, Stephen Smith’s dad died after he did, not before as you reported.
-
PandafetToo many adsGood grief. Way too many ads. Makes this podcast unlistenable.
-
LLuvCoolJaneGood show!Loved the episodes with body language expert.
-
dianepsotoRepeater not Reporter1. The financials got in because the defense attorney asked a witness if he could imagine any circumstances that would lead Alex to kill Paul and Maggie transforming said witness into a character witness and opening the door for the prosecution to use the financial crimes. 2. Yes he needs to be tried for the financial crimes. Listen to Murdaugh Murders Podcast. They have feet on the ground investigative reporting over the last 4 years. They layout why Alex, Corey, and Russel could not have pulled off the financial crimes alone. Judge Carmen Mullin at best showed poor judgement and favoritism towards her friend Alex in the settlement for Gloria Satterfield’s death. She is not alone. This needs to be dissected. Russel’s Banks’s board…Alexes colleagues… Law enforcement… coroner- how did Gloria get “natural causes “ listed on death certificate??? Sooooooooo much more!
-
Patty2347Huge amount of adsOkay podcast but there are at least 3 minutes straight of ads at the beginning and then sometimes 9 MINUTES worth of ads at the end. Totally insane! Yes, I use the fast forward button, but if you’re multi tasking and can’t get to your phone to skip the ads, you are literally just stuck there listening to 9 minutes of ads and it’s frequently the same 30 sec ad over and over again.
-
Macri'sNo way to play the trail parts in orderThere is no way to play the trial parts in order because of the way that they are uploaded. So at the end of each episode you have to go back to the main page, expand the episode list, scroll to try to find the episode and then play episode. Also pronouncing the names correctly as well as posting episodes in the right order seems to be the very least that could be done. Also there has been lots of commentary that has errors and haven’t been corrected
-
jpc1001Like show but….Thurs, March 2nd guest is ignorant and gullible. Please find guests with a discernible mind. I can’t listen to this…
-
Ashleigh's MommyThanks for the courtroom coverage!!!I don’t have time to watch the courtroom drama, but I can listen throughout the day so I appreciate the coverage!! The ads aren’t a big deal because the fast forward buttons are there for a reason, thank goodness! So far, the only thing I’ve noticed that hasn’t been fixed yet is Day 24 coverage hasn’t been fixed. Each part is the same thing over and over again except Part 1 and a few minutes of Part 5, I think it is? The other parts are bits and pieces of Part 1. Can someone fix this, please? Thanks!!
-
calene22Love ItGreat coverage !
-
Bill S 12Commentary not goodHave been following this case for two plus years, Tony does not understand anything about what’s going on. Clueless. Audio from case is great, but commentary about case, not great.
-
kaylynn.kelleyPlease get names correctIt takes very little effort to say names correctly.
-
Louie Lou19872689Love the coverage but these guestsLove the coverage on this podcast but some of your guest speakers could stand do more research. The woman from #drugringinvestigation sounded less credible than People Magazine. Did she only scan conspiracy headlines in prep for this segment?
-
Cleagues🤔I like the quick updates throughout the day. I like hearing full testimony episodes when I have the time as well. Those two things make this a good choice for listening. I wish the host would pronounce Har-poot-lee-enne correctly and consistently(not because I believe the man, I do appreciate proper name pronunciation). As for Alec/Alex even the actual guy pronounces his own name differently depending on who he is speaking with so that’s just a given with the guilty dude’s name. The same ad plays numerous times in a row which can be annoying. Although, that does make it easier to skip over so I understand the decision. Still 5 stars because I’m not an unreasonable person.
-
moonbugstar13ProsecutorI think we all know who did it … The prosecutor he is getting angry an keeps asking the the same questions over , he is getting very boring an could loose the jury interest .. I’m losing interest with the same questions ..let’s move on ….
-
cwhoggCondensed testimony without commentaryWhen I can’t listen live, this is a great way to hear the trial and catch up! Some of the episodes with commentators are interesting, but I mainly listen to the recordings of the actual trial. If I’m unable to watch or listen live, this allows me to get ready for the next day.
-
DizzyinahazeNames and places are wrongCan’t trust a podcast when the names of the subjects aren’t even correct
-
JeffTompkinsJust spamThis podcast is basically just spam. Very short podcasts flooding popular trending issues. Almost zero useful and accurate info.
-
Teon77HorribleAnd that's that
-
Justice for MagsHe is a lying narcissistAlex deserves an Oscar. He is a master manipulator. How can anyone believe anything that comes out of his mouth? SOmeone just happened to drive to the country, down his driveway and his son and wife just HAPPENED to be in the kennel and their own guns just HAPPENED to be so handy? And there is no evidence of a 3rd party? And he just lied to law enforcement because he feared them when he was one of them? And the time data shows he was there? Oh - and Maggie’s phone just HAPPENED to end up on the side of the road at the EXACT time he drove by?
-
MICHNJOEDo not listen with headphones unless you LOVE disgusting mouth soundsAlex Murdaugh should be thrown in jail for his disgusting snorting and mouth sounds alone. I'd even consider the death penalty. If you can listen to this with headphones on, you are a next level super human. This man is nauseating on every single level.
-
Blue HuronExcellent coverageThank you
-
desperately singleCommercials are crushing…… thank god for the advance button or it would be horrible
-
Michelle_h328DisappointingI was hoping this podcast told facts and not opinions. I listened to several episodes hope to gather information about the case but I feel this guy has determined his guilt and just spews opinions. No thanks.
-
Jana3907GunsHow could one person use two different guns in quick succession to kill mom and son?
-
PodcastlistenrrRepeat Ads are OBNOXIOUS!For the love of God!!! I never leave reviews, but this is ridiculous. The same ads play four times in a 15 minute podcast, including the same ads back to back. Surely they could find some other ad sponsors for some variety?!?!?
