I find most nostalgia podcasts annoying, but not this one. These guys are enjoyable.

I stumbled upon the podcast one day and ever since I’ve been enjoying it.The topics are very unique and interesting. This podcast is a trip down memory lane.

…mostly b/c I’m still catching up on OVP, but I binged AWM over Xmas and really enjoyed it. I’m about 9-10 years older so some of the 90s stuff I was already in college for and don’t relate to (eg. street fighter, Mario 2) but most of it’s in my wheelhouse. Fun and funny. Well researched and produced as always.

Joe and Quinn have entertained me for so many years with the wrasslin but they nailed a completely different genre. The show is so well researched and educational while being entertaining. The guys are always awesome!

An always entertaining and well-researched listen. It is genuinely the podcast I look forward to listening to the most each week. Even on topics I’m familiar with, I always learn something new. While nostalgic millennials will probably be able to relate the most on the topics discussed, all generations can enjoy it. Can’t recommend enough.

This is a one of a kind podcast. The topics covered are so diverse there is a little something for everyone. The guys do their research & provide detailed analysis while concurrently putting on a fun & entertaining show.

This podcast makes you feel like talking to a couple friends . They do a great job moving seemlessly from their previous podcast to this unrelated podcast while still making us come back for more! Give it a listen today !

Absolute love the podcast! Love hearing about things I’m familiar with, never experienced and learning something new about subjects I liked. Listened to episodes I want particularly interesting in and by the end either decided to check these things out or renewed interest in things I’d long lost intrigue about. Even episodes I had absolutely no interest in I found very entertaining and glad I listened. Keep up the great work and can’t wait to hear what’s next

Great podcast! One of my favorites. Each week is very entertaining.

This is probably my favorite podcast, regardless of genre. Joe and Michael do a terrific job of being both informative and fun at the same time. I appreciate that they take the weekly topic at hand seriously but also have a good time while presenting it. If you like 80’s and 90’s stuff there’s no way you won’t like this show.

Just finished up episode #1 and if this is any indication on what this show is going to be it will quickly become my favorite podcast. Joe and Mike did their home work. Who knew the cola wars could be so much fun to look back on. Btw I don’t drink the stuff regularly but it’s Coke when I do. Give it a try. Joe and Mike won’t let you down.

I discovered Joe & Quinn earlier this year on their other podcast, “Our Vantage Point”, and was instantly hooked. They have a great rapport, and seem like 2 guys I could sit and talk to for hours. What a package! Listening to the history of so many various topics from throughout my life has become my new go to podcast for an escape and what I would even call my favorite comfort show! I find myself counting the days for each new episode! I highly recommend checking this show out!

I’ve been a fan of their other work at OVP, but I highly recommend this podcast. As I get older, I try to keep up with the times (a necessity if you have young children!) but I do enjoy taking a deep dive into a topic from days gone by, and Joe and Michael do a bang up job on these. The Mr Rogers, cable tv and casual eating episodes are among my favorites, but they’re all good. Give ‘em a try, you won’t regret it!

I enjoy the podcast itself but could definitely skip the explanations of the obvious. Things like "..but before we begin, what is a telephone?"..."what is a concert?" along with a 10 minute explanation of what those are. It kind of comes across as a bit of an intelligence insult to your listeners. After you get past all that though, it's a good pocast.

As a kid born in 1985 everything about this show hits me in the feels. Joe and Quinn thank you for the Acid Washed Memories. The Roseanne review should be nominated for an Emmy. Keep it up guys.

A well researched nostalgia show hosted by two guys who have perfect chemistry. I’ve been a fan since their original show, OVP. I love the. So much I joined their patreon, not something I normally do. Just listen to this show, you’ll love it. Don’t be stupid.

Hosts Joe and Quinn are already have a great thing going with their Our Vantage Point Retro Wrestling Podcast, but what stands out is the effortless banter between the hosts. Part of the fun of their wrestling show is how that banter will take them to different places be it fast food, 80s commercials, old sitcoms, etc…so it makes perfect sense they would talk about these topics on a dedicated show and Acid Wash Memories is just that. The title of this review is a play off the lyrics to the Full House theme, but the most predictable thing I’ll say is that you’ll get excellently researched topics, fun audio drops and an incredibly polished, fun show each week. It’s their life, their dreams and nothing gonna stop them now.

This is a must listen podcast for anyone interested in pop culture from the 80s-2000. Joe & Quinn are well prepared, funny, and informative. The audio is top of the line. They’re great about interacting with their listeners. You basically become part of a family when listening and interacting with their episodes. I could go on and on about these guys, but it’s time to stop reading this review and just subscribe and listen! You won’t regret it!

Remember the old I Love the 80s and I Love the 90s specials on VH1? If you enjoyed those then you’ll love this podcast, a trip down memory lane, that really dissects the topic of the week. The first few episodes have been incredibly enjoyable and Joe and Quinn have a long list of great topics they’ll be covering in the weeks to come. Well researched with large amounts of humor and fun, Acid Washed Memories is a must listen.

When Joe and Quinn announced they were ending the regular weekly episodes of Our Vantage Point I was certainly bummed, but when they announced they were starting a full version of Acid Washed Memories I was thrilled! They bring their awesome chemistry and unique… vantage point… to a whole new set of topics and I can not wait to see where the show goes!

Acid Washed Memories feels like sitting down with two friends you had played Karate Fighters with, while chugging cans of Coca Cola Classic in your living room in 1995. Joe and Quinn are amazing hosts, and the care and thought they pour into this show is evident within seconds of throwing it on.

I have been an OVP listener and had to give AWM a chance. I wasn’t sure at first but quickly saw their banter works very well here and if you’re lucky you may actually learn something

The two Host have credibility since 2016 of having a hard working weekly podcast history of content and enjoyable entertainment that is no different and is continuing here in 2023 with this Gem of a show.

This is a very enjoyable series from two guys who have spent years honing their craft with the also-amazing Our Vantage Point retro wrestling podcast. Easy listening and an entertaining subject matter, especially if you’re of a certain age (~35-45). Pure “comfort food” for 80’s kids like me.

As an enormous fan of Joe & Quinn from the OVP:Retro Wrestling Podcast, I was naturally sad to see the show as I have been enjoying it for the last 4+ years somewhat end. However, I really enjoy when the boys go off on mini tangents and discuss what made them fans and what they experienced in their youth. I was 100% willing to give their new format/show a shot. I have to say I was overwhelmed with joy at the fun the show brings as well as the in depth info. They are both familiar with the topic but not to a level of expert, nor do they claim to be. The Acid Washed Memories show is simply just a good time and a great way to spend 90 ish minutes “hangin” with Joe & Quinn. I highly recommend this show if you at all were around in the 80’s and 90’s interested in pop culture, soda, TV and the like. I give this show proudly 5 stars!

I’m not normally a nostalgia guy, but this podcast is the one to change that! The hosts are hilarious, and you can tell they enjoy what they’re doing. Also, they also have a very active and friendly FB page/community. Try it - you’ll like it!

Been listening to Joe and Quinn on their original pod, OVP, which centers on wrestling. However, it doesn’t really matter the topic - Joe and Quinn share a unique back and forth that is enjoyable no matter the topic - it’s like listening to your friends discuss something, and you just sit back, laugh, and even get educated as these boys do their research and are prepared, whether talking about the cola wars or why Rob Bartlett was underrated on RAW (IYKYK). Highly recommend giving them a shot! Keep up the great work guys, and excited to see what future topics come along!
