    This is my favorite podcast and it’s a guaranteed laugh each episode. Michael and Hillary Whitehall are national treasures!! I am American and absolutely love the British humor.     I stubbled on this gem of a podcast looking for something to get me through a sleepless night. I have chronic insomnia, and the Whitehall's are a charming and funny couple. I could listen to them tell stories all day and night. If you are looking for good stories, and a lot of laughs, then give this podcast a listen you will not regret it.

    The ridiculous squabbling overshadow the laughs.
    If you enjoy the earsplitting bickering, and Hillary Whitehall acting like a complete termagant to her husband, this podcast is for you. What’s more (and this is most unfortunate), they failed to meet the expectation that identity politics and suchlike would be left out of the podcast. It was brought up on a Thursday episode on the 15th of June. Apparently they’re an "ally" of attention-seekers that work in the same ways as theocratic fascists.

    Listening to the Whitehalls is like enjoying a cup of tea with cucumber sandwiches. Getting advice and life lessons from these two is such a wonderful way to start my week and as an Anglophile, I greatly enjoy their humor as well as their marital dynamic. I really love when they bring Jack on because Travels with my Father is one of my favorite shows! If you haven’t listened to this podcast yet, you really haven’t been living life right.     I first “met” the Whitehall family in the Netflix series and quickly fell in love with Jack’s silliness and Michael’s curmudgeonly ways. Hillary is so warm, smart and funny, she’s quickly become my second mom - she just doesn’t know it. The advice and life stories in this podcast are all the things you want from your parents, but better because they’re not your parents! Hillary’s steadfast patience with Michael should win her an award. Michael’s unfiltered honesty is refreshing and hysterical, even when it’s a little painful. It’s a pleasure to listen to this podcast.

    I’m writing to you from the States and work from home so I have the pleasure of listening to your podcasts while I work. The episode from, the above mentioned date, had me in tears laughing when you spoke about the cruise ship experience and the man with no teeth. I think what finally sent me over the edge that I buried my face in my hands laughing so hard, was when the female guest at the table had suggested her dentist to the man.     Love the banter between Hilary & Michael but could do without all the bashing of America… our politics, traditions, etc. The long synopses of “imagine living your entire life in America” in the taxidermy episode was pretty brutal, especially considering the large number of American listeners there are.
