    Reality Bites ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
I've been a loyal listener of Reality Bites for a few years now, and it's been such a ride watching the show grow and evolve! Huge props to the ladies for consistently delivering sharp, insider-level analysis—especially during the deep dive into the Baldoni vs. Lively case. My husband and I were totally hooked! That said, we’ve noticed the other episode drops have slowed down a bit lately, and we’re really hoping those make a comeback soon. The pop culture landscape is wild right now, and we’d love to hear your takes on everything else going on too. Still, this podcast is always well-produced, insightful, and a must-listen for anyone who loves smart pop culture commentary. Can’t wait to see what you all do next!

    Went downhill
Inconsistent since the beginning now moving the whole concept of the show behind a pay wall. I supported through the breaks but not worth it anymore.

    Rarely finished full seasons
Unfortunately I am changing my review I made a year ago. This podcast has been extremely unreliable over the last year. They start shows but don’t finish them, and take weeks between episodes most times, with little explanation. I listen to many podcasters who have other jobs, things going on in their life, etc, and they still come out with episodes consistently. I’ve been a Patreon subscriber on and off for a year because I keep giving them second chances, but I’d rather put the little money I have towards something more consistent. I’m really sorry. I also have to say that I really don’t care about the 10 episodes about Blake Lively. If you’re having traction with that, maybe change the premise of the podcast.

Brava! Your April 7 Show was Amazing
Your detailed analysis of how NYT took a story of allegations and represented it as journalistic research and facts is so amazing. Traditional media has lost their integrity for the last 10 years. Gone unchecked, they have now used these tactics across the board. I don’t know if Baldoni’s case will win, but I hope it does and I hope NYT returns to journalistic integrity.

    Lively/Baldoni - the real story
While every other news outlet and podcast is caught up in the gossip and drama of this lawsuit, this series gets to the heart of what this lawsuit and story is really about - the business of Hollywood and who controls it. This isn’t a pro-Blake podcast, or a pro-Justin podcast. It is an education on how Hollywood works. The studios, the unions, the publicists, the actors…they are all players in this messy drama, and the hosts explain it so well! The bigger picture is so much more interesting than Blake v Justin. Great job!

Your IG stories a few weeks ago turned me off big time.
And to expect people to pay to listen !?! Just no. Stop trying to sound like you’re so important and just talk about the topics.

You guys are amazing/9 has me shook
I’ve probably listened to eps 6-9 10x… 9 has me shook & worried- great investigative reporting & w/your experience you & Kassidy OConnell are best resources on this case. You should get a Pulitzer not Ishy MT.

    Fair & Balanced Insider Perspective
This is one of the best simultaneous broad overviews and deep dives into the Lively and Baldoni lawsuits. Episode 8 in particular answered so many lingering questions I had. Definitely recommend!

Morgan CRUSHED this podcast!! Doing it solo cannot be easy but she never missed a beat!! It was totally incredible!!

Lauren's Investigation skills crushed it 👌🏼
Way to go Lauren 👏🏼 This podcast on Blake and Baldoni is doing something special—covering their careers with a depth no one else is. Lauren and Morgan bring fresh insights and manage to uncover angles that aren't discussed anywhere else. It's the perfect blend of professional analysis and peak behind the machine. If you're looking for a truly unique take on Blake and Baldoni, this is the podcast you need to be listening to.

Great perspective, but total drama queens…
Such a good podcast! Their breakdown of Blame Lively and Justin Baldoni is epic!

    A Real Safe Space
This last episode was fantastic. Morgan was giving Barbra Walter’s energy. You could tell they actually read up on the story. I appreciate the different perspective provided. In a time where people just agree with the masses because it’s the safe thing to do. The ladies really went out and shone light on something many people know nothing about. I shared the latest episode with my colleagues and they agree that Morgan’s deep dive was fantastic. Morgan and Lauren, thank you for always providing a safe space to discuss different ideas. As a black woman this means everything. I love the podcast, keep up the great work!

    Grateful for this pod!!!
Love their takes even if I’m not watching the show that they are speaking on. Their POV is different than any other pod out there and frankly we are all lucky to have this content!

    Still downhill
I’m so glad I didn’t resubscribe for their Patreon again. The new RHOBH season will be over before they even get the second episode recap up. I really like you ladies but the inconsistency is a turn off.

    When it’s good, it’s great but…
I have enjoyed listening to Reality Bites for years and used to be a Patreon member. That said it was definitely better before Betsy left the show. Morgan is delightful and has a great insight into reality television as an EP and showrunner. The show overall has lost its mission and turned into a chaotic mess that many times turns into more of a venting session rather than a recap. I will keep checking in to see if it gets back on course because when it’s good, it’s great but when it’s bad, it’s awful.

Inconsistent, preachy & maybe having a premium channel/podcast in general isn’t for you.
This was one of my favorite podcasts for a long time but it has just become so inconsistent with release of episodes and host participation. I understand life happens but it just feels like there’s a new reason it’s Morgan solo every week. This week it was Lauren lost her voice but then she over shares a long story about how it’s actually that Austen upset her. Which is it? I understand having a premium channel and I happily paid for it, but shows that are supposed to be covered on the premium (RHONY) now aren’t getting covered, or are only sporadic or aren’t even actual recaps. You keep saying that’s because the show is in such trouble, but if you commit to covering it for the premium channel then cover it when people sign up for it. Also, you guys are not mental health professionals and sometimes the attempt at armchair diagnosis and preachiness becomes a bit too much and is frankly offensive.

    Inconsistent
I was initially drawn to this podcast because of the chemistry between the hosts and their professional experience with these reality formats but there's absolutely no consistency with episode cadence or host participation. Not really worth an investment sadly.

I MISSED THESE TYPE OF EPISODES!!!
EDIT TO REFLECT 11/19/24 THANK YOU for sharing your producers cut episode on all platforms. THIS is the perspective and type of episodes that I’ve missed from you two! Keep them coming!! Reality Bites was my favorite podcast discovery during the scandoval era. I even went back to the start and listened from the beginning. I looked forward to new podcast and didn’t feel complete without hearing JJ (at the time), BETSY, and (sometimes) EPs talk about my favorite shows with their unique perspectives. Ad free and often hours long. The longer the better! But recent podcasts are mostly behind the patreon wall. I get it. That’s how you gals can earn consistent money. I unfortunately can’t afford to be a member. I wish I could. Now I get to hear one podcast a week and the previews. You are missed.

    These other reviews are whack
If you love reality TV, Reality Bites is your new must-listen. Hosted by a couple who aren’t just fans but actual reality TV producers, this podcast gives you the kind of behind-the-scenes perspective you didn’t know you needed. They’re not just talking about the drama – they’ve lived it, and it shows in every laugh, every breakdown, and every did that really just happen? moment. The chemistry between the hosts is infectious, making each episode feel like you’re in on the conversation with friends who understand exactly why you can’t stop watching. And let’s be real – seeing a couple who can work together, share their love of the genre, and make it all feel fresh and funny? It’s a breath of fresh air in the podcast world. If you’re after smart insights, genuine laughs, and that little bit of representation that just feels good, Reality Bites is the podcast for you. Hit play – you won’t regret it!

These two have some….issues they need to work out. Used to be a big fan but due to some Reddit behavior and instagram interactions, I had to say goodbye.

    Avengeful
Rory, a self described “podcast host” loves to go to other people’s podcasts and write 1 star reviews just because she doesn’t like their opinion on a post! Hmmm can you even pronounce hypocrite? I suggest buying a dictionary before posting on social media. Funny how she says it’s her opinions and she doesn’t care if you disagree but when people disagree, she literally stalks them online and writes nasty reviews about their business. I hear a lawsuit coming…
  • podpeople100
    Middle School Potheads
The two hosts really want the audience to know they smoke pot. I’m not sure why they think this is a fascinating and interesting thing. But it comes across very middle school “bracing” to try to sound cool. It’s cringey.

Kim, there’s people that are dying..
This is my absolute favorite podcast. Pros- long episodes, no ads, hilarious, informative and much more! Cons- Lauren’s mom passed away which has a lot of people sounding like “MY DIAMOND EARRING CAME OFF IN THE OCEAN AND ITS GONE” 😫 FOH I’m sorry people have been unbelievably cruel to y'all during this time. I look forward to hearing from yall again, no matter how long that takes. ❤️

Take as long as you need!
I have listened to so many bravo podcasts that are just opinions, but this one is different. You ladies have broken through the fourth wall to shed light on what happens behind the scenes. It’s always interesting to hear how, and most importantly, why they see the situation differently than I do. I’m sorry that people are cruel when they disagree and I hope that Lauren finds peace in her grief. Stay strong ladies!

    Best Podcast!
I look forward to this podcast each week and have been listening for over a year. I love how Morgan and Lauren keep it real - and I enjoy hearing their perspectives. They are hilarious which makes their podcast so much more entertaining than most. I love when they get into their fits of laughter. I find myself giggling along with them. They are relatable but also super informative about what happens behind the scenes since they are producers. This is, by far, my favorite podcast. Thank you for all that you do!

Love this podcast and the BTS producer points of view Lauren and Morgan bring with each episode. People who are complaining about the lack of content need to chill! Lauren is allowed to take some time to grieve ❤️

    Take the time
Firstly, to listen to this pod. Worth going back to the start of Scandavol - awesome to have the producer prospective. Secondly, Lauren take all the time you need to process and heal. We are here when you’re in a place where the pod brings and outlet and joy again 💕

    My favorite podcast!
If you enjoy bravo/reality tv, this podcast is a must! It’s so refreshing to get content from people who actually know of what they speak-producers who have worked on the shows we love. I find myself always learning something new and appreciating my favorite shows even more while gaining this unique perspective. Truly a must listen! Love love love!

Reality tv podcasting queens. Would give 10 out of 10 stars if I could. Can’t wait to see a new episode come to my feed WHENEVER that may be. Weeks, months, years, I’ll happily wait until making content is something that comes easily and is enjoyable for you as content creators.

I love listening to this podcast - it feels like hanging out with friends that know all the good scoop that always make you laugh. I look forward to seeing the alert come up there is a new episode - it makes my 1.5 hr commute fly by. Thank you for your perspective, insider knowledge and humor.

Lo and Mo are so funny and insightful! They give you a behind the curtain perspective that no one else has.

    Love love love them!
Found them during Scandoval and still cannot get enough! I love their willingness to share honest opinions, especially when it comes to the tough, polarizing topics, which is not an easy thing to do. They offer such interesting BTS perspectives and I legit get so excited when I see 3+ hour episodes 🤣Thank you for all you do! Believe it or not, there are listeners out here who support you and love you despite real life rearing its ugly head. 🩷

Awesome, unique perspective - only one of its kind
This is my favorite podcast for a reality TV junkie. Lauren truly brings a unique perspective like I’ve never heard before being both a producer AND a fan of reality TV. I look forward to these episodes so much! They might be long but you’ll find yourself laughing along with them. Keep up the amazing work! Erin
  • Wyngrrrl
    Interesting, honest & hilarious
Why do I live this podcast? Maybe it’s because I too break into random song throughout conversations. Perhaps it is because I can listen and still really want to tell people what I think about the conversation while they are still talking. But these ladies just get what I am looking for in a podcast about reality television. The background information we get from their production history makes the stories we are watching all that more interesting. If you can’t handle a pause when people are dealing with real life, kick rocks. Also- these two ladies have left me some of the funniest responses to my odd questions and and make it known that they actually care about their content. Can’t wait for the tea sipping to resume. Until then, water is fine.
