A fun show for anyone who loved to read comics on vacation
This great podcast is hosted by Rob Kelly (who hosts many other fun shows) and highlights the comics he bought as a kid while on vacation with his family. One of my favorite aspects of heading to the Delaware and Maryland beaches with my family as a kid was getting to shop the spinner racks of the beach stores that always had different comics available than in my hometown. So obviously this show is right up my alley. In addition to Rob, there is always a guest each month with a similar perspective of special “vacation buys” that they enjoyed as a child. The guest and host discuss a specific issue Rob bought as a kid in vacation in the Poconos (I wish my 11 year old record keeping was this precise). 😂 If you love comics or have fond memories of reading on vacation as kid be sure to give this podcast a listen, you won’t regret it. Also check out the Fire and Water podcast to find shows on a variety of geek topics, from Who’s Who to Hamlet and everything in between. Fan the flames and ride the waves!

    Pure Nostalgic Joy
This podcast is one of my favorites. It really invokes the feel of what it was like to be collecting comics as a kid in the 1970s and 1980s and I very much appreciate the personalized stories. Podcaster Rob Kelly has pretty much developed into a professional podcaster at this point, and develops a well structured, thoroughly entertaining treat.

Comic Book nostalgia at its best
Pedal your Huffy up to the Poconos, grab a Yoo Hoo, and enjoy some random 80s comic talk. It’s the best.
