    Breath of Fresh Air
As a mother, it can feel lonely navigating through this journey. There are so many things we want to accomplish in a space that’s foreign to us & our children. This podcast has brought so much light & insight to the motherhood journey. It often feels like I’m sitting on the couch with them, apart of their conversations. Their shows HIT every week. It’s truly a breath of fresh air.

I love you 4 and you are the single reason I look forward to Mondays. I’m a first time mom and hearing your stories and perspectives has truly guided me in the motherhood journey as well as made me a better wife. Thank you and I want you to know the work you do is very important. Vulnerability is what connects us as humans so I appreciate you ladies being so open and sharing your lives with us.

    So Needed
I’ve been following Codie since the first season of Black Love. So naturally, when I hear there is a podcast with her and three beautiful women that I greatly admire; I’m sold! I look forward to every Monday when I get a notification that there is a new episode. I can not wait to get in my car to hear that intro! I have a 4 year old little boy and this podcast came right on time! Navigating single motherhood has been so hard but with the tips and encouragement that this podcast brings every week, and of course the support of our village; I’ve been able to thrive as a new mom.

    Thank you Thank you ♥️♥️
I’m not sure how I came across this podcast but I think it was Instagram. But I am sooooo grateful you have no idea. I’m currently a SAHM and my daughter is two years old. Trying to navigate through mother with past trauma, parental judgment and anxiety has been a challenge for me. I’ve heard the stories from you all it makes me feel like I’m not alone. I’ve become an advocate for myself because no one else can. I love the support of your friendships. I love how unapologetic you all are about your values and boundaries. Thank you I look forward to these episodes weekly lol

    Love!!
I’m not a mama but this podcast has been amazing to listen to. I have nieces, nephews & godbabies & I still found this podcast so relatable since they discuss family dynamics, friendships & womanhood. I’ve laughed & cried with y'all but most importantly learned from four incredible mamas & their guests!

Having conversations like these is so therapeutic, and totally necessary. I appreciate this podcast, because you all normalize the true authentic journey of motherhood without sugarcoating. So Happy to Be Here!
I’m just so grateful to have found this podcast. I’ll just start with the fact that when I saw Melanie Fiona I was like, “I’ve got to check this out!” She is one of my favorite artists and to hear from her as a parent is so refreshing. Once I started listening to more episodes I fell in love with all the ladies for their own individual personalities and what they bring to the podcast. I just love that this podcast exist because I became a mom in 2023 and I felt so unseen. This podcast validated me in a way that brought back my power as a woman first and then I was able to be a better mother. Thank you so much!

Thank you all for your honesty and your willingness to share the ups & downs of motherhood and adulting. During the mother’s episode, we were able to understand how your own upbringing shaped and impacted your outlook on motherhood. I truly love every episode. From your faithful Capricorn listener!

    What Mamas Need The Most
This podcast is such a breath of fresh air and where I come to hear about other moms who go through some of the same things I do, or maybe things I have yet to go through but I’m so glad to learn their life lessons. These convos remind me of how me and my girlfriends talk to each other. Keep up the good work ladies! Thank you for being your authentic selves!

I Look Forward to EVERY Episode
I feel like this podcast is like a group chat for moms. I love how each of the ladies have different personalities, but they all mesh well together. I love all of the different perspectives and backgrounds of each of the them. I feel as though they each bring a different point of view. It’s great to see them getting along so well and even agreeing to disagree but still be respectful. I really enjoy this podcast. I am also a young mother of two and I get so much advice from these ladies. I relate most to Melanie because I have a son that is a Pisces and a daughter that is a Sagittarius they both make life so interesting. Keep it up, ladies!

    Love this podcast
As a new mama, this podcast has helped to normalize so many feelings I have on this journey! The women on this show are so uplifting and keep it real about them hills and valleys of motherhood. Such a good show. I tune in every week. The only thing I would change is that some of the episodes don’t seem to have as much structure and the conversation is all over the place. Like sometimes there’s not even an intro? It’s a little strange.

I LOVEEEEEE listening to y’all!! It’s so relatable! I wish we could get more uploads of y’all podcast on YouTube!! I liked visually being able to see y’all. None the less keep them coming ladies 💕

    Not enough SINGLE MAMAs
I feel a lot of the ladies operate from a space of luxury. Like there isn’t enough diversity regarding the types of mamas in America. Y’all complain WAY too much about y’all’s partners. This show isn’t reflective of most black mamas
  • Des9494
    Thank you!
Thank you ladies for this podcast! I have been listening for about a year now. It has helped me more than you know. Hearing Fee talk about how she had postpartum for 2 years encouraged me to go get help for my own postpartum depression. I was in a very dark Place for a while ( I have to babies under 2) and thought that this is just how motherhood is. I look forward to every Monday for a new episode to drop. I have 2 babies under 2 and I moved across the country with my husband and I don’t really have a village so hearing you ladies discuss your motherhood journey feels like my little safe haven.

I stumbled on this podcast and was pleasantly pleased. I listen to you ladies often as I’m cleaning up and I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends. Motherhood can feel so lonely a lot of times but listening to you ladies makes me feel like I am there with you. Keep up the great work!

    A podcast for EVERY woman
I just started listening to this podcast and am loving it. I follow Black Love on Instagram and had seen a few clips pop up and was intrigued so I dove in and I am so glad I did. My husband and I are trying to conceive and I have been curious about pregnancy for years. I love hearing these women talk about their experiences. What I love most, though, is that this podcast isn’t just for mothers or soon-to-be mothers. It’s about bodies, mental health, self care and friendship. So dive in! You won’t regret it:)

    Great mom podcast!
I love this podcast! It’s incredibly relatable, funny, and real. You can tell the moms genuinely care about helping each other and other mamas. My only feedback is to have Ashley talk less, sometimes she drowns out the perspectives of the other cast mates and can be a bit judgmental. It’s understandable that she has the most experience with motherhood but relatability isn’t all about experience.

    My new secret power
Ladies , ladies, ladies .. you’re speaking to my soul. I share all your pods with my crazy mom friends, so keep it up. I’m a Ashley and a Capricorn … so yal be nice to Ashley lol .

    Right on time!!!
I discovered this podcast in my 3rd trimester bc I wanted to dive into a (cool) mom’s point of view. Now I have my 1 month old and this podcast is my go-to while I’m up at 3am nursing! Dealing with body changes, going through friendship loss, so many topics make me feel seen during these isolating times. Thank you!

    Girl Tallk
I love listening to this group even though my children are in college and I’ve lived through much of what is discussed. It’s all still very relevant. I laugh, get emotional and cheer them on as they discuss parenthood in all its glory and challenges. Their candor and uninhibited nature is refreshing.

Best way to start my week
Love this podcast. As a mama of 3, I relate, learn, consider different perspectives and best of all laugh with every episode. Melanie has a bit of a take over spirit sometimes, but honestly- I can relate to that too because so do I 😅.

    Put Kim on the program!!
Most of my friends are sahm moms or entrepreneurs so it was nice to hear from a “corporate mom” who understands the struggle. Prioritizing my home life and my 10-yr career at a global company after becoming a mom in 2021 has been tough. It was affirming hearing Kim’s perspective. Put her on the program pls!!
