Princess1008EhhThe podcast itself is good. I’ve enjoyed past seasons. However Telliah just sounds like a miserable glass half empty type of person and I think it’s obvious what happened to her. Idk how she had many friends.
-
FidiwuhfueufhueiehAds, ads, adsInteresting but so many ads it’s difficult to remain engaged.
-
BizmarkDoodleSo badcan’t stand Jess. She is so judgmental and gets into everyone’s business and just accuses everyone. Obviously distracting from her own life. Podcast is so slow and the pacing is off
-
IMHO FRPrepare to listen to a lot of ads if you’re not a subscriberI’m not a subscriber to iHeart Podcasts so I have to deal with all of the ads. I would estimate there’s about 8-10mins of ads per show. At least I can fast forward through them

shell1429Very intriguingAbsolutely think this is worth listening to. I wait every week for the next episode to come out. Talina was a good woman who trusted people she loved and was taken advantage of.
-
coty clackYuckIn most true crime, you’re rooting for the victim due to some tragic thing. Talina sounds awful. Entitled. Insufferable. Halfway through the 2nd episode and I don’t even care if they find her.
-
JOSE412163I tried to like itMade it to episode 4. Too much pointless info.
-
Olivia282InsensitiveIt wasn’t appropriate to reveal details about Talina’s personal life that weren’t relevant to the case and that Talina wouldn’t want broadcasted to the public. This is a major way she will be remembered and she deserves consideration in her portrayal.

Candance ToscanoYou’ll be hooked!Love this podcast!!
-
Msp629FeministA great story ruined by a feminist rant over a couple girls with male phobia in episode 3.
-
Skip808Season 3If the first 2 seasons are as off track, slow and hard to follow as season 3, I’ll pass. This is season is focused on 80% BDSM culture that Talina Zar was into and 20% of her actual disappearance
-
EmberdreagonTalinaI haven’t listened yet. Talina was my friend—I’m not sure I can listen.
-
GeoHeatherNeeds an updateThere has been an arrest in the Talina Zar case. This podcast is now outdated.

MissTeeracyDisappointed, makin that list…The story would have been interesting if the commercials weren’t so infuriatingly OFTEN. The list… each commercial (product) that was played over and over and over and over etc etc etc. Overkill is also a thing in marketing.

sleeplessinNE2020I wanted to follow the story but couldn’t follow the storytellingAfter listening to the trailer I was intrigued, but then it felt like every few minutes there was an ad playing the trailer for the same podcast making it difficult to get into the story.
-
TerezKBLToo RepetitiveThe author repeats things too often like the Facebook post. If you are listening, you know what she posted. She repeats the opening info over and over again. We don’t need every tiny detail that has no significance on the events (her haircut). I lost interest in the podcast by episode 2.
-
Just another mol Elizawhat is the deal w podcast adsthere is legit 5 minutes of ads to start this podcast...and two other ad breaks in a 30 minute episode you guys know people can listen to and watch stuff that isnt absolutely filled with ads right?
-
podcastjunkie4First episode turned offI couldn’t even get past the insufferable intro of the first episode, with the host reminiscing of her paranoia during the Covid pandemic panic. If that was meant to set the tone for this podcast, it was an immediate no from me, dawg.
-
ohgodireveiwedsomethingfacebook sleuths are dumbso instead of making sourdough and posting cringe tik toks during lockdown, these ghouls hyperfixated on a stranger who explicitly asked for privacy then made a podcast about it...cool
-
Char2heySlow, hard to followThis story is slow and hard to follow. It’s hard to connect to the characters and figure out what is going on because of so much filler information. I quit after episode 3.
-
trucrimemammaToo woke.Completely biased and anti science when it comes to the consequences of abortion.
-
Crc38868Bored muchDumb podcast of internet trolls and bored women
-
MaliacrakenCompelling!Good job Melissa!
-
bigdog803AdUsually don’t even listen to podcasts when i see “iheart” attached to it because i know it’s going to be full of ad’s but i was desperate and thought i would give this one a shot, surprise, can’t even get a grip on the narrative before a break for a toothpaste commercial or 4. Skip and never come back.
-
jessica dodgeBdam discussion! Not murder podcastThis isn’t a murder story it’s just two people discussing BDSM… worst podcast I’ve ever listened to! It’s two women discussing their sex slave sex lives..
-
smweaSuperfluous DetailsEntertaining but also slow at times with information that seemed unnecessary to the case but was added to extend the series length. I don’t care about the Meth issue in Independence, MO or backstories as if to develop characters in a story. Cut to it. Short of the long is, Libby Caswell was classified as suicide, but we all think it was murder at the hands of her boyfriend.
-
njdhjd1978Too many commercialsThis story could have been told in 2 or 3 episodes. Way too many commercials and redundancy in the story telling
-
DonJuanCasinovaNopeHearing how brainwashed and ignorant she was during the Covid media scare in the first couple sentences let me know I wouldn’t like the podcast. If you couldn’t do your research on a fake pandemic and went with the media hype then I don’t trust any investigation you did into this case.
-
Muds111009Ads, anyone? This is very hard to get through with the excessive advertisements. Normally, I can hit the skip button about two times which equals a minute, but these ads are around three minutes if not more multiple times in each episode. I understand needing ads to help with fees, but also who listens to ads? We do have access to a skip button. Again, this is really excessive.
-
>!< dragonflyWhat happened to Talina ZarTalk about exciting! My, what a tangled web we weave. Kore has been hiding some very deep secrets. Along with possibly a few others from the Gorian community. Can’t wait for next episode.
-
NickNameNanooKink ShamingThe tone of episode 3 is pretty repulsive. I really. Have enjoyed the series otherwise but really, are we so ignorant about BSDM and kink in 2025 that an entire episode is dedicated to ostracizing a subculture? Really should have given that one a bit of thought, it makes me think the writers and hosts are uneducated and grossly privileged.
-
Becks39Completely invested!Season 3 is my fave yet!
-
nixfinityAnother Fake Story With Voice ActorsThere’s a big difference between an investigative true crime pod documentary and a fake radio play with voice actors reading from a script, which is what this is. And the story stinks too. Don’t waste your time with this nonsense
-
Meh9873Season 3: cast of twitsI actually liked the first two seasons. Season 3 is filled with unlistenable and supremely obnoxious people. These Facebook sleuths are a menace, and they should be harshly criticized for being narcissistic busybodies.
-
tabbyvonJudgement based on ignoranceAs much as I am enjoying this podcast, I am rather put off by the judgmental tone being put out regarding the Gorean subculture and the BDSM community. A person who enters into a Master/slave dynamic does not do so immediately out the gate. That level of submission and domination grows from a Dom/sub dynamic. The judgmental tone that I am getting from the women on this podcast is the reason that people have lost their children, their jobs, their standing within the non-kink community. The reason Marty was hesitant to share any information with them is because of the attitudes that were seeing displayed here. Just because this isn't your cup of tea doesn't mean you need to yuck on other people's yumm.
-
jyclarkBoringThis story of Talina Zar is very slow and hard to follow. Also, half the time is dedicated to ads, which is obnoxious. These big corporate podcast groups have ruined a once interesting and independent form of media.
-
NOBOJAKGood story, too many ads20% of the runtime is advertising
-
Christina418SuperbThoroughly investigated. My only question that remains for me is why can’t they let the family pay for DNA testing on the sperm? If this person is identified, perhaps it would answer some lingering questions.
-
BedTundy43CrazyInsane story. I live right by wagoner. Never heard of this case, but these people are insane. I’m embarrassed stuff like this is going on around here
-
MomohboyhaHard to followThis could’ve been a great podcast, but it was very hard to follow with the narration all over the place, and the narrator had a very noticeable lisp, which made it hard to listen to over and over, I had to turn it off and just read what happened
-
DeboufanyAds for the podcast i am already listening toJust started season 3, seems fine although there are excessive ads, what really made me stop listening is that they play ads 3x per episode for THIS podcast that i am already listening to. Too annoying not worth it for the meager entertainment
-
CaitlinQBarGreat stories well toldI’ve listened to all three seasons and they are so thoughtfully investigated and the stories well told. Season 3 is my favorite yet! So juicy. Also I love Melissa’s subtle New Zealand accent. True fans know she pronounces things a little differently cuz she’s from New Zealand.

SarahGoodallWhy the music in the background 😭I want to keep listening but I can't with the music. It's too much of a distraction :(
-
tennysontenThese people need professional mental health carePlease lead these people to a mental health professional. Yikes. Don't bait and switch. It's disgusting. This poor lady deserves peace. Honestly.
-
DwuudZWowThey finally made a podcast for stupid idiots
-
Twil05Skip the musicIt is so unnecessary and very annoying. Takes away from the otherwise excellent podcast, as far as the story telling goes.
-
Micro!¡Waste of timeHonestly, I don’t usually take the time to rate podcasts but I made an exception for this one. This is truly a waste of time. It’s loaded with contradictions and on top of that, I’m truly shocked Doug hasn’t sued for defamation. It turns out, Sandra DID commit suicide. The only good thing is that hopefully her family has some closure now. But it didn’t need to be turned into a podcast.

insight without SightThought provoking and importantI appreciate all the obvious hard work and intentionality that went into both seasons of this podcast. These cases are not easy to think about and I am sure they were not easy to investigate and produce content about either. Both cases bring up issues that are difficult and uncomfortable in our society. A lot of people consume true crime content rather mindlessly. I have done this myself at times. It is not possible to do this with this podcast. I felt such a range of emotions listening to each season, including sadness, frustration, anger, and a sense of confusion about so many things that do not have easy resolutions. Thoughtful dialogue around topics raised in both seasons needs to continue. There needs to be more discussion and more listening. My heart goes out to the families for all they have been through. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing each season to the podcast audience. I am sure working on these cases impacted all of you as well and appreciate your professionalism and dedication to covering difficult cases involving difficult topics.

😱😳one eyeGood podcastI haven’t listened to Seaon 1 yet but Season 2 was well done. It’s frustrating because it’s so obvious what happened and knowing justice is not being served. Thank you for brining this story to light.
