Gilmore girls is my favorite show ever, so it is nice to see some people with a fellow love for it. I listened to a few episodes, and they were OK. I didn’t like how they belittled Jess, and I don’t agree with lots of things they said about him. I am glad that they hate Dean tho, bc I do too. Would give them a 3.5 stars if I could. Gilmore Girls 4 life!!

Tried 3 episodes as I am a GG super fan but never have I listened to more boring drivel. These women have a knack for saying absolutely nothing and stretching it over an hour. Frustrating.

I absolutely LOVE this show. As a Gilmore Girls fan who followed Haley on TikTok, I’m so glad I found out about this show. I started listening from the beginning and have truly loved the evolution of the show. As a podcast host myself, I understand how much dedication it takes to keep going and growing. ✨ I love how much you’ve both been able to infuse your individual personalities into the show, so that we’re not just hearing opinions from strangers - we feel like we know you! I LOVE Gilmore girls and I LOVE this pod!! Both I find so much comfort in, I love the topics the girlies discuss, they always have new takes I had never considered. Keep it up!!!

I enjoy the content but the audio levels are so inconsistent that I need to turn the volume way up to hear one of the hosts. And then when commercials break in the audio is so loud it makes me jump out of my skin. Seems like an easy thing for the producers to fix. Why don’t you?

Listening to this podcast unlocked a new dimension of my fandom I didn’t know existed. I often find myself agreeing out loud or thinking about the “what if’s” that are brought up. This podcast leaves me happy, enraged, overjoyed, tickled, drinking too much coffee.

Drinking game: take a shot every time they mention tik tok They sometimes, eventually get to the topic at hand…sometimes Production values leave a lot to be desired This podcast more appears to be a vehicle for “likes” rather than for a love of GG I really wanted to enjoy this podcast as the episode titles looked interesting snd I was hoping for a unique spin, sadly, this was fool’s gold Oy with the poodles already!

The most recent episode had 28 minutes of discussion of the host’s lives and events they attended before addressing the topic at hand. I’m sure there are many listeners who love that stuff but I’m more here for the discussion of the show itself. Maybe the chit chat can go in separate episodes? Otherwise I really enjoy how deeply they love the show and the quality of their analysis. I still really like this show I just end up scanning the transcript to see ok when are they going to stop talking about their day to day lives and start talking about the topic at hand. This approach would drive away new listeners who don’t know Haley and Tara yet.

I watch Gilmore girls every morning and then even have it on in the background during the day while at home with the baby. When doing housework I’ll turn your girl's podcast on and you guys seriously make me want to watch the show even more if that’s possible 😂 keep up the great work!!

I enjoy this podcast, but the audio levels are frustrating most of the time. One person’s voice tends to be significantly quieter than the other’s, which makes it really hard to hear without constantly adjusting the volume. Fixing this would definitely improve the listening experience!

If you want to hear a carefully crafted, meticulously edited, very serious essay on various aspects of Gilmore Girls, this podcast probably is not for you. If you want to fangirl over a show along with two close friends (who end up also feeling like your close friends) then maybe it is. I love pretty much everything about this podcast, so I really don’t have any criticisms to offer. I personally am not really a Taylor Swift fan, but it doesn’t keep me from enjoying this podcast. I’ve really developed an affection for the hosts, so I actually like hearing them talk about things in their lives that aren’t Gilmore Girls. To me, this podcast isn’t superficial at all. I really appreciate how critically they examine fine details and bring up things I’ve never thought of. And people saying Haley can’t acknowledge any of Logan’s faults clearly aren’t listening to the rewatch podcast. I think it’s awesome that one of them loves the early seasons and one prefers the later seasons. They bring different perspectives to the podcast and that is so cool. Also, I love that they use the episode titles. It’s a fun challenge for me to try to figure out what happens in that episode and gives me the same kind of satisfaction as getting every trivia question right. Overall, I just think it’s great that I’ve found people who are as obsessed with this silly little show from the 2000s as I am. What’s more fun than getting into a deep discussion about a character or a storyline or even just hairstyles? The stakes truly could not be lower, and I love it so much.

I’ve been listening since the beginning but I’ve decided to stop after the last episode. The show has become quite self indulgent and not really focused on GG very much anymore. I’m just not interested in a “how the sausage is made” episode. I also don’t find the excessive talk about Taylor Swift and how many viral sm videos you’ve made entertaining. Loved the earlier episodes with smart critiques about my favorite show but it’s really lost it’s focus in the last few months. Best of luck to both of you! It’s just not for me anymore.

I have followed from Tara and Haley’s early TikTok days! I was pregnant through 2020, while having a 1 year old my husband was working from home and I desperately needed some space to call my own. I found Gilmore girls TikTok pocket of the internet. Then in early 2022 I saw a suggested pod show up called “Star-crossed lovers and other reasons to hate Dean Forester” and obviously I thought “omg I hate Dean! What is this!!!” and then I recognized those names because of my love of their TikTok content! I was a mom of two, relocated in the town I grew up in but knew no one, still in the midst of a pandemic and found Tara and Haley’s pod. Suddenly, I felt like I had friends. I’ve listened since day (or month?) 1. I’ve been a “super cool party people” from day one and now a “vicious trollop”from day one. Silly as it sounds this pod keeps me together each week, so much so that I hardly get a chance to even rewatch Gilmore Girls but I can pop in an ear bud and listen to them week to week and feel connected to this show we all adore. #momlife or something like that. I may not always be the most active in on group chats, and I may be a couple weeks behind on the pod but I’m always here, cheering them on and trying to be their biggest slightly older sister supporter!!! 💖

As someone who loves GG and wanted to love this podcast I just couldn’t. Sometimes what may work on a another platform (TikTok) doesn’t translate to other mediums. This is a very surface level podcast of a show with so much to talk about but the hosts spiral around the same topics and never really get into any good discussion. I tried to listen to this pod a few times and gave it several chances but it’s just poorly done tbh. There is so much to discuss in a rewatch but they count cups of coffee? Like stop wasting our time lol Personally I recommend listening to Gilmore Guys, which is a podcast by two comedians who have other comedians on to talk about the pod and they actually have interesting conversations and insight

I’m a new listener who has been binging all the episodes over the past few weeks, and I love you guys! Such a fun pod to listen to. I really enjoy that this isn’t a typical rewatch Podcast and instead it’s topic by topic. Very fresh and so entertaining! 💜

I really do enjoy the themed episodes, and how it’s not a typical episode recap podcast. It’s just not my taste how immature the hosts are with certain things. The obsession with Logan and Taylor Swift by one host is just um, a lot. We get it, but I feel like I’m in middle school calling someone my boyfriend that I’ve never actually met. Idk, I’m only about 25 episodes in, so I’m hoping that gets better? Because I really do enjoy their take on a lot of the parts of the show.

This podcast is falsely advertised as discussions of the actual plot of the show. This is literally not even 10% of what you get content wise. It’s actually ridiculous discussions of Taylor Swift songs and biased opinions on the guys on the show. It’s disappointing considering that the show plot and characters give so much a podcast could analyze and break down in a meaningful way. Don’t even bother paying for the Patreon rewatch episodes. You will spend your time hearing one who has no personality and just mimics Lauren Graham, the constant praise of Logan because the other one can’t come to terms with the fact that she is in love with a fictional character, and the Taylor Swift references every scene. They should have just stuck to making TikTok videos.

I like you girls a lot but you repeat your little catchphrases ad nauseam.

Very little focus on the show,they get side tracked a lot.One of the girls constantly is referring to herself or someone else as girlie,to the point of extreme cringe.She also says “I love that for youuu” at least twice in one episode.Maybe they’re young and don’t have a full vocabulary yet?Regardless,it ruined the pod for me..

I’m bummed because I loved this podcast at first but over time it’s difficult to listen to because Haley’s audio is too quiet and too soft and doesn’t balance well with Tara’s- Tara’s is a lot easier to listen to.

this is literally my comfort podcast and it’s the best thing ever. my favorite episodes are the galentines episodes, the fan fiction ones and all the jess ones because he’s my comfort character. also, the boyfriend draft one is amazing. listen please, you’ll thank me💖💖💖

this has become my favorite podcast! gilmore girls is definitely my comfort show and i love to think about all the parallels and everything like that! i am busy all the time as a 17 year old cheerleader i can never really catch a down moment but whenever i have one the first thing i do is turn on this pod!!! thanks for all yall do!!🩵

Just ran across this podcast about a week ago. I’m typically stuck on true crime podcasts so this was a very refreshing and light hearted change of pace for me. The hosts are knowledgeable of the show and are true fan girls and it shows by their devotion to certain characters (I think that’s a great thing because it reminds me of.. well me?) lol. You can love the show in it’s entirety but still have tour favorites and least favorites. I also skip episodes and over some seasons as I’ve seen the series enough times to know this isn’t the vibe I’m going for right now. Look forward to listening through all the episodes :)

I’ve been a Gilmore girls fan since the show was first on air, and this podcast has so much potential with its creative episode ideas and being more than just a generic rewatch podcast. That said I’ve listened from the beginning and now the overall immaturity of the hosts is just so so grating. Taylor Swift is not a personality trait. Framing every.single.analysis as the “[insert character name or idea] of it all” literally means nothing. You guys are really knowledgeable but the TikTok-ificiation of everything on this show while at the same time taking their roles as podcasters so seriously is so unbelievably annoying. I’m the same age as the hosts and I cannot imagine what it would take to be this deep in fandoms at this age. As a general thing I enjoy? Definitely. But this is next level and not in a good way.

My favorite Gilmore Girls podcast!

I do really like this podcast overall. The deep dives, the parallels, and full circle moments that they chat about are super fun and can be thought provoking. I’m a long time Gilmore girls super fan and love the show so much which is why I have a couple of issues with this podcast that mainly center around Hayley: 1). Hayley, we get it, you are OBSESSED with Logan. It’s wayyyy too much and she doesn’t seems to be able to objectively look at other male leads, story lines, or the flaws of Logan because she for real wants to marry this fictional character. It gives me some major cringe and makes the listening less enjoyable. I’m fine with you liking a character but my god, it’s a little crazy at this point. Are you even a Gilmore girls fan if you’re constantly saying you skip episodes or scenes if Logan isn’t in them? 2). Related to #1, they both seem to rewatch certain episodes or seasons only and are missing some knowledge or are very biased because they don’t take in the show as a whole. Hayley is particularly guilty of this and says multiple times that she skips the same episodes or seasons all together because they bore her or are not Logan centered. I would prefer the show with Tara and another host because Tara has a more well rounded viewpoint and ability to critique the show with less bias overall. I still enjoy listening but it does become annoying to hear the never ending litany of Logan praise with no permission from Hayley to have a 2 sided conversation. I feel like I’m missing the full perspective because of that. I also agree with other reviews that referring to the episodes by name can be so confusing. I know some of their names (hello i have all the box sets and watched them constantly as a teen) but even still, half the time I’m racking my brain to figure out what episode we’re talking about. Overall 3 stars.

This show is so comfy and cozy and I just love the banter and how much they love Gilmore girls. Haley and Tara have created such a great community with the pod. Such a vibe with their friendship and they create a environment when you feel like you are with your girlys talking about your fave show. Keep doing this I love it! 💖

It’s just popular now to bash “old white males”…especially by the so-called “tolerant.” Don’t read the books if they’re not your thing, but don’t insult a whole segment of population in the process. I turned it off. Hate that stuff on any and all sides. It’s part of the “problem”, not the solution. Stop that madness. Otherwise, your GG content is good. “Woke up.”

I just ran across this podcast and decided to listen to the episode comparing Barbie (because of the recent release of the Barbie movie) worthy Kirk. This episode is absolutely amazing. Love it. Matel needs to team up with ASP right now and come out with this line. This is awesome!

I came across this podcast on Instagram explore page and I’m SO HAPPY that I did. I started listening immediately and couldn’t stop. Seriously. I didn’t stop for the next 9 hours. I’ve loved Gilmore Girls for so long and it’s so fun to hear everything these girls have to say. I love that they have differing opinions but are very open minded and understanding of each others opinions. I’m trying to slow myself down and not binge the entire podcast because I don’t want to run out of content but I still can’t stop listening. 5 starts from me!! (PS team Logan forever)

The hosts definitely have a lot of knowledge around the series and have clearly rewatched the show many times, but they talk about the same episodes over and over. I don’t know if they have really been able to analyze the show in a way that has a lot of depth or has me thinking about thing’s differently. It’s pretty surface level. They make a lot of jokes that are not funny, but the hosts laugh at themselves a lot. Also, Logan is annoying and not worthy of defending or romanticizing so much. I wanted to like this show because I love Gilmore girls so much but most of the time I don’t even finish episodes and forget to ever revisit them. I was disappointed when I listened to a ‘rewatch’ episode that was released because they spend a lot of time talking about how many cups of coffee the Gilmore girls drink, there is soooo much to talk about in these episodes and that’s what is focused on? that sealed the deal on the podcast for me. If you are wanting a Gilmore girls pod, I recommend Gilmore Guys!! It’s over now but there are 100s of episodes to binge and it’s been the best GG podcast I’ve found
