Dr. Ludovic Slimak - A Review
Dr. Slamik provides expertise and nuance to the conversation on efficiency. His explanation of the dangers of efficiency gives a clear contextualization of how current business practices are descriptive of late-stage capitalism. This channel has been so useful in understanding social movements and how they relate to art and media!

A Powerful Platform for Social Justice and Change
The Social Justice and Activism series on the Creative Process provides a space to give power to everyone who listens to create change in our world. Insightful, informing, and influential, I am given a plethora of voices who are passionate and driven to make an impact in our society. As a person of color who yearns to be dive deeper into issues of systematic racism, social inequity, and real-world problems that are not talked about enough, the Creative Process brings about meaningful discussions to very serious issues. The Creative Process builds communities that are predicated on making connections through our struggles, and protecting our stories so that they can travel between us. The Creative Process is a powerful platform that I believe can keep our aspirations for social justice and change alive for generations to come.

Jennifer M. Gomez & Cultural Betrayal Trauma
Really enjoyed listening to Dr. Gomez break down the messages and motivations behind her novel. She introduces Cultural Betrayal Trauma, a very heavy topic, with the goal of emphasizing ackowledgement of and solidarity around the structural oppression of black women and girls. I am also an artist (acting) with deep interests in public health research, so hearing her story about transitioning from ballet into the academic world was truly inspiring. One thing that really stuck with me was Gomez' claim that "everyone needs to know everything". Her black feminists concepts, the intersectional marginalization of black women, the multifaceted role white supremacy plays in public health discourse are all topics that deserve to be highlighted across all disciplines.

    A Lesson in Curiosity
Not only is this podcast both deeply engaging and informative, but the conversations tend to feel like individual journeys. They’re not just simple back and forths, they’re a lesson in curiosity - in the power of exploring a subject collaboratively, as Mia does with each individual interviewee. All the while, the integration of young voices adds yet another dimension of intellectual exploration, enabling these discussions to also become opportunities for cross-generational learning.

    An Appreciated Nuance
The podcast takes on both fresh and veteran interviews with thought provoking discussion. The podcast market is saturated with a over abundance of a similar “type” of interview or meaningless discussion. This is where The Creative Process distinguishes itself regarding arts, culture, the environment, politics, and science.
