CalDelGSo down to earth and informational!I’ve been an occasional listener from the beginning. I love the easy going and conversational vibe but this episode with Dr Sina McCullough was exceptional! So thankful for this work you ladies do!
-
AnnEG appsLove it!I’ve been loving this show for a year now. As our family is growing it is so helpful to hear tips and tricks from other moms on how to nourish your family in practical ways. I have learned so much through the podcast and appreciate the work you guys do so very much!

May_naiseProbably the bestSpotify is where I listen, but they don’t allow show reviews, just comments on episodes. Needless to say, this is the best mom/health/homeschool/real talk podcast. I have binge listened, and am now a regular. Corey and Christine bring their own goodness to every episode. I love how Corey is so realistic, and yet she is also a boss how processes her own chickens. Christine is like my type A other half and she also knows her stuff! They get some really amazing guests, but most importantly they are practical (even when it seems far out of reach of the average Aldi shopper). The organic farming episode blew my mind almost as much as Mary’s episode. One of those ones where you think you know, but until someone spells it out you are shocked. My son’s Ezcema was horrendous and through a lot of work we found healing, I’m so glad I had these episodes to keep me going along the healing journey. And we are not done, I have so much to gain. I recommend this to any mama who is borderline curious about a better way. Thank you for the amazing work you all do!

Milkman3Absolutely LOVE this Podcast.Bringing ancestral wisdom into the modern world is a necessary step toward reversing many of the ills that humans and our environment suffer from today. Corey and Christine have such a fantastic perspective and unending curiosity to seek the truth and leave the sugar-coating at home. What a remarkable resource for all those health seekers out there.

summer10696Poor deliveryI wish they’d improve the audio quality. The hosts have so much wisdom but this is hard to listen to. I want to like this podcast so much as I really relate to the overall message. Also, I come here to learn, not to hear unrelated chit chat. Sometimes this comes off as the hosts being unprepared. I find myself skipping to the “good parts”. These episodes are too long for the amount of actual relevant content. These need to either be shorter episodes, or the time used more wisely.

Meg_01Poor deliveryWanted to love this show, I am interested in many of the topics they cover, however the pace is really hard for me to listen. Found myself skipping though to get to the good parts. I know they are trying to make it casual like talking to a friend. I feel like more preparation and an outline would really help listeners track and stay interested. You guys have great wisdom to share, I hope you can keep growing!

PswizzledMan, they are unpreparedOkay, I came to this podcast after hearing Corey on Alex Clark's podcast, Culture Apothecary. Idk if CA's team does a phenomenal job of editing or something but listening to this episode of the recap on the senate hearing is painful. Lots of "umm" and looooong pauses. I lot of misspeaking on the topics discussed and referring to speakers incorrectly or taking time ON THE SHOW to discuss pronunciation of peoples names- maybe do that before hand or edit it out? I wanted to like this podcast a lot because of the things Corey spoke about on CA, I'll have to try again another time because this was a very challenging listen. I'm giving 3 stars because I appreciate their mission and the topics they discuss. The delivery needs a lot of work, so far as I can tell.

Karabeth96So thankful!!I found y’all’s podcast through Corey’s interview with Alex Clark, and I can’t be more thankful for y’all’s discussions, wisdom from experience and how to apply a nourishing lifestyle for your family. With two small children and a husband who isn’t fully on board yet, reading nourishing traditions for the first time felt so overwhelming and though I have been trying to shift our eating for about a year, it felt impossible. So it has been an absolute encouragement and inspiration to hear how y'all implement a nourishing traditions style of food for your families. Thank you for sharing your experience and giving guidance for the mamas out here trying their best!!

Trina PearlGreat InformationThese hosts have a lot of really good information and know their topics. Their delivery is a bit choppy with frequent long pauses that make the flow of the podcast uneven and a little hard to listen to. One host is very clear and her mic is great, but the other host isn’t as easy to hear so I have to turn the volume up for her but then back down when the other host speaks. I just think with some equipment changes and less stops and pauses in their speaking and train of thought that it will be even better than it already is.

Leilani WongSo informative and empowering!I literally was listening to the raw milk episode WHILE pulling into sprouts and got to try Raw Farm’s kefir right after listening about their amazing processing practices! So empowering to know where my whole foods come from and feel great about what I’m eating! Love this podcast and use it as a trusted resource! (Also so excited for Mary to come back on!!!)

jessyess13Bring Mary back!I LOVED the episode with Mary Ruddick. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming. Such valuable information. Just the sound of her voice alone was so soothing and healing.

MagentaSoleilRelatable & PracticalThank you for being real humans ❤️ I can always count on a relatable “conversation”, especially when nutrient dense eating can feel very overwhelming sometimes. I fangirl’d when I saw you on Alex’s show!!! I had commented on her show with Hilda that she needed to talk to you and little did I know it was already in the works!! - August 2024 I really enjoy this podcast. I truly appreciate the conversations and practical information that is brought forth - some of which has helped me break down some “food rules” in this purist food culture. I look forward to future episodes.

Isa.W.Great information!I'm not usually a long-form podcast person, but the content presented here is so in-depth and easily digestible. Highly recommend for anyone with kids!

AjlrgirlUnearthing Ancestral Wisdom w/ Mary RuddickThis podcast was one of the best I’ve listened to. The regal abundance of the tribal/indigenous way of living described by Mary Ruddick, had me wanting to listen forever. It’s fascinating to remember our greatest wealth is truly our health. Mary’s shared experiences are an integral part of the change society needs to get back to a more natural way of being. What an inspirational message.

kmwalsh2325The episode with Mary is goldSo much wisdom and so well presented! These ladies asked wonderful questions to Mary and really brought out what the title of their show is about: modern ancestral living. THANK YOU for getting to the real good stuff!!!! We’re dying to hear it before it’s lost!!
-

StephS3Practical and Informative!I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year now. It has helped me immensely as I transitioned myself and my family from a vegan diet. The series on what to eat for meal times set me up for success as we navigated the transition. Cori and Christine share excellent tips and tricks for nourishing your family while also staying within your means. They are both down to Earth and have a great sense of humor! I appreciate the wealth of information shared in these enjoyable conversations. My family and I are now thriving!

britestelle123Janine is a humble expert! Both episodes are not only packed with amazing information, but also with interesting stories. The interviewers ask great questions which prompts Janine to weave her vast knowledge with her heartfelt stories around her journey. Her passion for organ meats shines through in a way that will leave you inspired and curious.
-
HollyamberOrgan meats episode.Just finished, first time listening. I cannot wait for part 2. I absolutely love her and I am totally inspired. JANINE. I love her so much. She needs to start a podcast. Listened to both of these episodes start to finish.
-
midwestgal2Great ideasI love the idea and content of this podcast! But I have a hard time actually listening when the hosts keep having ‘side conversations’ or keep laughing and getting off topic. But I love the WAPF and what this podcast is trying to do!
-
yvonna456Old meets newGreat podcast for moms who value traditional ways while still being practical in todays world. Their postpartum episode was super helpful for my second child birth I dit her the bra and it helped my milk regulate and keep mastitis away! I also loved their meal series!
-
britishfoxThe Mama tribe I’ve been seekingIt’s hard to meet like minded people IRL who share the same lifestyle and parenting philosophies. I thought becoming a mother would help me find my tribe but alas it hasn’t. I love this podcast and look forward to see what topics are being discussed.
-
oheyitsamandaThe podcast I wished I had when I first started our traditional food journey!Corey and Christine are so generous to bring this podcast filled with their combined wealth of knowledge and experience. I believe it will provide encouragement to any mama no matter where you are in your food journey. All of their topics and advice are given in such a non-judgement way that will leave you feeling encouraged that just taking one step today toward whole, traditionally prepared foods will leave an impact on your family. Thank you so much for this podcast! I always look forward to the next one to come out!
-
adamdefCrunchy mom friendsVery fun to have a glimpse into other mothers lives that have chosen a similar life style! I look forward to the future of this podcast <333
-
ChristieMarieMurphyWay to go Mommas!!I absolutely love what you’re doing!! Keep it up! I’m an over 40 Momma of teens and I’ve just discovered WAPF & Nourishing Traditions. I wish I would have found this way of living when my girls were littles! Thank you for sharing your journeys!
-
no nick name availI love what you’re doing!I know you both home school. I’d love to hear more about how you use WAPF values and principles in activities with your kids, passing along the wisdom you have learned and our learning. I say this because I know there are young families in my chapter who are choosing homeschooling because of our current situation. And it would be very helpful for them to hear how some more experienced moms have found ways to follow their kids’ interests and teach them about ancestral foods and other skills that come with cooking like using tools and math etc.
