Hey Modelers!  Welcome to the ModelGeeks Podcast, a place where we talk about anything and everything relating to scale models.  Sit back and buckle up for an exciting journey into the world of scale modeling.  It doesn’t matter whether you’re new to the hobby, been around since Moses, or that you build aircraft, armor, ships, or automobiles.  We hope to have a little bit for each of you.  

Our format is simple; modeling news you can use with a few tips and techniques, some lighthearted banter (maybe a beer or two...) and most importantly, interaction with you, the listener!  Please feel free to drop us an email at: contact@modelgeekspodcast.com and weigh in on whatever our show topic is.  You can also find us on the ModelGeeks Facebook Page or our website:  www.modelgeekspodcast.com.

Always a good listen

After an almost 60 year hiatus, I came back to trying to build scale models when facing retirement. I stumbled on this podcast and they have provided hours of enjoyment and a great learning experience as an old/new builder. They also have given encouragement and support that I needed in some dark spots when my physical limitations almost got the best of me. I hope I can be around for their next 75.

Conversational but instructional

What a great group of guys who love the industry. Always love the personal stories but they really hit the mark w how they work on and complete tasks regarding model making. While their building techniques vary, this podcast may be the best when it comes to explicitly explaining just how they get to where they’re going. They’re empathetic w novice builders. Add the guys banter, laughter and attempts at humor and this is an excellent podcast.

Best of the best

The Model Geeks Podcast is always informative, while being entertaining. All four of the Geeks have a Naval aviation background so model from what they know. While united by background their individual personalities entertain the listener. They all have decades of modeling experience, but don’t consider their way of doing things the only way. A great, inclusive bunch of guys talking modeling, this podcast is well worth your time.

This is a regular podcast for me. Four knowledgeable guys who love our hobby and are a welcome part of it. It’s great that they support the scale modeling podcast community, too, and their updates on hobby news, new kit releases, new hobby shops, etc., are much appreciated. Sharing their techniques is helpful to modelers of all levels. Keep these coming, Guys!

When it comes to model making discussion, what could be better than a bunch of former Navy aircraft guys?! And, much like the other podcasts, they have their corner of the model podcast world covered!

Model Stashes

Great show again. As a strictly armor modeler, I’m glad to see you aircraft modelers have got the same “problem” as me! In the armor modeling world, if a kit comes out as a “3-in-1” kit, and you can only build one version of that tank, I’m obligated to get THREE kits so I can build(READ: buy and add to the stash) all three versions some day!
