Shocking News: Scientist Has Opinions. Internet Implodes.
It’s truly horrifying when someone as educated, well-researched, and profoundly helpful as Dr. Huberman dares to think independently. Imagine…gasp…listening to Joe Rogan, or acknowledging something like MAHA. Clearly this negates years of neuroscience education, groundbreaking research, and hours upon hours of free, life-changing content. Thankfully, the review section is here to remind us that anonymous strangers with zero credentials but plenty of outrage are the real experts. Bravo. If you’re the type of person who needs your science spoon-fed through a political filter, maybe stick to TikTok wellness tips. For the rest of us, Huberman’s work continues to be brilliant, informative, and refreshingly free of ideological hand-holding.

    Great Info.
Love learning and getting tips for better health with understanding more of the Science behind it.

    Joe Rogan jr
The unfortunate thing is that there is good information here but he’s MAGA adjacent and has a hard on for Joe Blogan which is a hard no. Just give your information and leave your bro opinions for your friends, Bro.

    Starting to wonder…
He shares lots of good info, but with the recent touting of MAHA (not inherently bad if coming from a non political perspective), I do need to understand his position on vaccines before patronizing him further. This country is getting mixed signals about vaccines from MAHA leadership and that’s a real public health issue.

    Completely Disappointed
Dr. Hyman was great too bad this arrogant, misinformation spreader kept interrupting and focusing on himself. Probably no surprise to those of you who listen. Those who are considering listening I wouldn’t bother - unless you are also one of those entitled white males who are only interested in themselves and living forever- which good luck with that b/c at what cost to the rest of us.

    Overblown
Every episode is 3+ hours because Huberman treats them like a therapy session. And now he is touting the MAHA agenda? I’m out.

    Jumped the shark
I liked lots of the earlier episodes, but as he admits, ‘expert’ can be used loosely….maybe get off the internet a bit

    Disappointed
Very disappointed by some of the comments made by Chris Palmer. He referred to girls starting to menstruate as being thin and attractive several times. This is inappropriate by a health professional, it sexualizes children and promotes thinness. He stated obese moms are twice as likely to have autistic children, and as an afterthought later, it turns out men have the same statistic. This is a familiar trope of blaming the mother.

    New format
The approach I listen to today on fat loss is so much better than the previous format you have used. You jumped into the subject right away, your advertisements were spaced throughout your presentation. I also loved your brief summary. Thank you for your work. good luck keep it up.

    Reputable podcast
Andrew continues to produce very good podcasts and remaining neutral and scientific in his approach to data. Thankful he isn’t promoting MAHA camp or ideology here as science should not be political. He doesn’t alienate and validates as appropriate but isn’t shoving his views in our face. I will continue to listen.

Staci Whitman - Opinion versus evidence
Dr. Whitman rarely cited published evidence for all of her claims of what is important and her recommendations. I kept waiting to hear about the randomized trials. She acknowledged on a few occasions that there was an association with the factors she mentioned. But that’s it. Never talked about the studies and any limitations of them. Very disappointing that Dr. Huberman just gobbled it up and even expanded it with anecdotal experience of friends who died of pancreatic cancer. Dr. Huberman, You can do better.

    Thank you for this

    Too many commercials
Commercials are so bad now. I usually stop listening to podcasts that start to aggressively peddle supplements. It’s really quite simple how to stay healthy in both mind and body. You don’t need supplements if you follow the blue zone diets with consistent exercise. So why even try to get people to buy expensive supplements. It’s greedy. Also, all these middle age podcaster dudes are 100% doing steroids…lol…what a crazy world we live in.

    Life changing
Each episode has given me easy things to change to improve my health. The headache episode was literally life-changing! After adding the recommended supplements, I haven’t had another migraine! I’ve been seeing a neurologist for years for this issue and am a physician myself but had never gotten this info- why don’t they teach us this in medical school??? Keep up the great work!

    Alcohol
Boy oh boy. Episode 86. Thank you for explaining in terms that are relatable, what Alcohol does to our minds and to our systems. It was all the information I didn’t want to hear at first. I am now very grateful to know the truth. The reason I haven’t reached my health goals. The reason I have relied on it at days end for years. I’ve known that it was holding me back but, details help me face it square on. I’m very thankful Dr. Huberman. 👏🏻

    Sponsored by BetterHelp?
BetterHelp has faced lawsuits for unethical practices, including mishandling user data and questionable therapist qualifications. It’s frustrating to see Huberman promote a service with such a problematic track record, especially when mental health care should be handled with care and integrity. Please do your research when it comes to sponsors you give glowing reviews about. I seriously doubt Huberman or anyone he knows personally would use BetterHelp for his own therapy. He recently interviewed the founder of IFS, and you definitely won’t find a qualified IFS therapist on BetterHelp.

Super informative and fun to listen to!
Terrific podcast, he does a great job of asking pointed questions, seeking answers for the general public, and “trying” to put it into digestive conversation for the layperson. He’s helped me so much to understand how our bodies work and how to approach health in a tested and proven way.

The content is great. My only suggestion would be to explain some terminology more clearly. The context doesn’t always make the meaning obvious. As someone educated in business rather than science, I find that some of the terms you use aren’t common, and I often have to go back and re-listen

Andrew Huberman is doing God’s work by providing easily-accessible scientific information to the general public. I have learned so much about science, health, and life. I feel like I really relate to him

Weak backing for his claims and protocols
Listened to the show for months and some of his older episodes. Then was shocked to find out he doesn’t get the flu shot and doesn’t believe they help society. Once I started looking into him more online I see that he has a lot of financial conflicts of interest and waded into pseudoscience claims instead of claimed backed up by rigorous studies.

    Sometimes less is more…
No one loves to hear himself talk more than Andrew Huberman. There is some valuable content in this podcast, and excellent guests and information, but this man loves nothing more, and I mean nothing more, than his own voice. Why have a guest if you are going to still make yourself the most important voice in the room? He will ramble on about something just because he thinks every word he says is so riveting. Be a host, not always the main character. Say less words. More people will listen.

    Life changing..
Dr Huberman’s podcasts are truly life changing. The in-depth discussions on complex topics with world class subject matter experts are moderated by Dr Huberman in a manner to make them meaningful to us layman. The information on health, lifestyle, mental health, learning, physical fitness and more provide opportunities to optimize life. In fact, the podcasts have enhanced my physical fitness by extending my walks from 3+ miles to 6+ while listening to each show! Thank you!!

Kim Kardashian has nothing to do with health
Guess it is finally time to unsubscribe. I always respected Huberman for collaborating with people and brands that are aligned with his mission but I guess the temptation to sell out was too strong, despite his popularity already soaring. Kim Kardashian has no business participating in any conversation around health while the Voldemort impersonator *barely* does. Bring back real doctors, scientists, and the ilk! It’s your supposed ethos and mission, after all.

    Sources
When guests come on the show, they are so prepared with citing scientific research (rigorously studied, peer reviewed, randomized, controlled, etc.). They have a high bar. Occasionally, Dr. Huberman will also cite a source by name. But mostly just aiming wide, in that regard. That I feel undermines him a bit. His guests seem very prepared, science wise, and he seems (on the surface ) less so. So it ends up being more of a “this is my educated opinion”, and response from guest. Rather than, “let’s compare notes and discover what we find.” I’m sure he’s researching somewhere in the process because he brings up the topics on cue (or in editing, post). But for people just listening, I understand why he comes off illegitimately as a science information source. I enjoy the guests more than the host, I must admit, and very much appreciated that his guests fill this hard data gap. I’m here for the science, not for Dr. Huberman’s (granted, educated) opinions. That being said, the fact he does garner guests with so much scientific knowledge and hard data is impressive. I always find a lot (I mean A LOT) to think about.

    “Greedy” money grabber
Dude, is there any commercial that you have refused? I happily tuned in to listen to this podcast because it was less than an hour and I thought would have less interruptions. Wishful thinking, perhaps continually interrupting valid points in your talks obviously with no regard to a loyal listener from when you began this podcast. This one was only a half an hour. How many more commercials could you squeeze in? How can you take someone serious? That is greedy and shows no regard for your colleagues or fans. Sad

Sadly an untrustworthy source of Information
It’s a crying shame that this man is still supporting things like AG1, LMNT and Function. He’s addicted to the revenue and will say anything to keep it coming. It’s sad because Andrew can actually perform a great interview and regularly has the most interesting and significant guests—but at bottom he is untrustworthy as a source information!

    Misleading and a Traitor
Disappointing that he has helped ruin the world of research and help get RFK Jr into the Whitehouse. Hope you realize your impact to the scientific community has been cemented as a one of the reasons why America is going through its dark times now.

    A blessing
Love to see educational content and u do it very well. Without you life wouldn’t be as amazing. Thank you Huberman, for existing, creating, and spreading science to the world

    So informative! Def take notes.
I think it’s hilarious that people come here and complain about ads and even asking for a summary instead of a “full lecture.” Speaks volumes to where we’ve gotten as a society. We want knowledge, but don’t want to tap into wisdom… I take notes every time I listen. Keep up the great work, Huberman!

    Informative
    Very thoughtful and fascinating

    Very frustrating to listen
More than 50% of the making is done by Andrew Huberman himself, who is rambling, going in circles, trying to appear an expert in every possible health topic out there. Listening to these podcasts, I always wonder why did he invite the speakers, whom he barely allows to speak. Andrew is just stealing airtime from the true experts and that is why his every podcast is several hours long.
