    straightforward
it would be a great mistake to rely on one newsmedia source to stay on top of everything going on that matters, lt alone to understand well. but if you had to pick one accessible english-language source as starting point, tldr strikes me as a solid contender.

    Fantastic show, one problem.
I believe this show is way too short. I would appreciate if it were longer and I wouldn’t mind ad breaks to support a longer podcast.

    Sound Mixing is Awful
The Daily Briefing is great, but the sound mixing makes it so I can’t hear anything!

    Love it!
Knowledgeable hosts. Information on various current news events. Enjoyable listening. The YouTube channel is excellent also - that’s how I got directed to the podcast

Mostly nonpartisan, best brief world news podcast I know of!
This is the primary way I update myself on major world news (apart from a US-based email brief). I like that the creators don’t insert opinion and commentary into this, although I say “mostly nonpartisan” because I sense left-leaning biases in the way they present certain stories (the perspective, assumptions, language used, etc.). I actually hear a bit less of this bias than I used to, which I appreciate. This podcast is preferable to any TV news program because it’s to-the-point and just shares the story itself. I also love the addition of a positive story each day—bad news gets all the views, but we all need to know there are plenty of good things going on around us!

Great idea but half of show is advertisement for paid subscription service
Great concept for a quick podcast but it loses most value added when multiple times mid-podcast the host stops and reminds you of the news he will only tell you if you pay him for his subscription service. These advertisements for his subscription service make up 50% of the time in each podcast. I want to be able to move from one podcast to the next without handling my phone, so feeling forced to manually skip through 2-3min of adverts throughout a 2-3 min newscast kills whatever momentum I’m trying to keep in my morning routine.

    Second Review? How?!
TLDR News is outstanding. They’re actually apolitical and give both sides’ perspectives. THIS IS GOOD, LEGITIMATE JOURNALISM RIGHT HERE. How this podcast only has 14 ratings, and ONLY ONE WRITTEN REVIEW is beyond me. Three thumbs up.

    Great content from TLDR
Wonderful and concise content! Good for everyday information. One piece of feedback I would like to see (hear) is to not have the background music during the show. It is quite distracting and when This Week in Parliament is on, I notice it is much clearer than the daily show. Please and thank you.
