Finding a way to make sense of it all
This is by far a brilliant podcast that brings together the sadness of junking done by the BBC back in the 70s. The incredible detective work done by so many to track down missing episodes. The heroic efforts of private collectors saving many episodes from annihilation, even is they were oblivious of what they were doing. Paul and Tim are both amusing and insightful in bringing to light why episodes are missing to so many loyal Doctor Who fans. With both logic and humor, they lay out to every listener the best explanation of how so many gems (and a few dog episodes) may well be forever lost in time. For every fan of this iconic classic series. Listen and enjoy.

    Entertaining and elucidating
I’ve really enjoyed this and learned a lot about film collectors, restorers, and the bureaucratic archaeology of tracking down the missing episodes of Dr. Who. But what I want to know is when we’re going to get missing episodes of the Missing Episodes podcast?

    Fascinating!
I was prompted to listen to the September 15, 2023 podcast about film collectors. Learned at lot of things. I feel better about any missing Doctor Who episodes that might be in the hands of film collectors. Sounds like the biggest problem in the film collecting world is what happens to their collections as the collector ages and eventually dies. The guests on the podcast have a plan and are trying to do something better. Great listen.

One of the indispensable Who podcasts around
While I follow and enjoy a few Dw podcasts, this one is the one look forward to the most. The behind the scenes information is both fascinating & gives an excellent overview and review of stories which, being missing, can only be inferred. Show length doesn’t work against it because, while it gives so much information, its presentation just rolls along. Top notch.

    For Doctor Who historians
A fascinating look at the more obscure reaches of the franchise’s history. Even if you’re a longtime fan, you’ll almost certainly learn things you didn’t know from these folks!

    Great podcast!
Very professionally done. Lots of great conversation and valuable insights. Thanks! PS; The hosts are great. Very easy to tell them apart which is actually very important for a podcast. Great radio voices. One sounds like Paul Cornell and the other sounds like comedian David Mitchell! Thanks guys! Scott Denver, Colorado
