jason 4 trump 2020What Happen ?Youāve lost your mojo Tony. It used to be a great podcast, but youāre going down here fast.

DuckduckGrossPoor take on the DuckGate episodeThe dollar bills were not counterfeit, they were play money. Rubber ducks are not witness intimidation. If you think Officer OāKeefe was hit by a car, you are not smart.
-
leandrawwzChanged but still listeningWishing Tony and the team well and maintain a level of balance since the show has really changed a lot. I miss the wiki episodes.

simoneka1977Just dumbWaste of podcast space! Regarding people writing prisoners; 1- all people in prison are not actually guilty-2 if we expect inmates to get out one day and blend back into society, I think writing is a great way to support a healthy society 3 people change , donāt assume everyone is Susan smith I canāt even continue with this review because the ignorance is still bantering in my ears! JUST DUMB

rachraeJust adsThis podcast has changed so much. Regurgitated information sandwiched by ads that play the same thing twice in a row. Premium membership? Why? I could just read the show notes and garner more information.
-
tishdelaOver-Promising and Under-DeliveringI agree with many of the comments about ads, very short content, etc. Iāve been so disappointed. Definitely doesnāt encourage me to pay for a Premium Plus subscription. The copy being used for the Show Notes is so long and usually takes much longer to read than it does to listen to the episode. Itās very wordy, passively written, over-promises what the content will offer, and then doesnāt deliver even a fraction of it. Tonyās interview style has grown very stale. Starts off with statements (not questions) and then adds his own bias and opinions to the mix. All the while, answering the question with his own answers rather than having the experts tell us what they know.

walking into WallsWhat happened? This is not the podcast it was a year ago. I use to love it.

Sids1MomIdioticRegarding the Bob Lee murder the host of this podcast says this kind of thing is happening every day all of the time in San Francisco⦠completely not true, he has no idea what heās talking about.
-
suvmom04Best ofMy how things change. The podcast is not what it used to be. Sometimes thatās ok and sometimes itās not. I hope Tony finds a happy medium to it. Edit. And again this podcast has changed. The updates are good but I feel like I canāt keep up with them. I listen to the latest and when I get done with that one thereās another

littlemisshorrornerdNew listenerThis WAS a great podcast. All Tony posts now are episodes about 3 big cases. So disappointing. I can get that content anywhere. I loved this show and his TCT episodes covering current crime with Carol or Stacy. At some point I wonāt bother listening anymore because the content I enjoy on TCT is continually declining in numbers of episodes if you can even call them episodes. I actually love this show. The host is hilarious & I like his female cohost. Not a fan of the male cohost.
-
GatzgreenChanged format ruined podcastWhy are you posting all of the live trials and having so many updates daily on the same cases? A separate podcast is enough. This is a true crime commentary not a copy and paste of a trial. I tried to weed through the constant barrage of trial updates just to listen to the actual show bits and I realize itās too much of a focus rather than being able to just listen and enjoy. I just unfortunately canāt stay on board. Good luck tony and gang!

kwitchaNot worth itHigh on victim-blaming and low on journalistic standards. These are the kind of vibes that make people think true crime fans are icky.

ntdwwiraDisappointingListened to the Matthew Coleman episode and was very disappointed. It left out so much critical information, such as how Matt killed his kids due to his belief in QAnon conspiracy theories. Tony was also very dismissive of mental illness, saying it didnāt matter. I agree it doesnāt matter in regards to his punishment. There is no excuse for what he did and he should spend his life in jail. However, Tony took it further, saying who cares what mental illness he had? Well, if we want to prevent these things from happening, we need to care. Itās important to know his delusional thoughts in order to identify signs of mental illness. By better understanding the mental illness that led to this, we can proactively identify and treat people. We need to analyze the dangers of extreme conspiracy groups putting out info such as claiming thereās a race of half human/half reptiles taking over the country. Tony just says, who cares, stop talking about it, throw him in jail and let the jail āeco systemā take care of him. That attitude does nothing to help further out understanding of mental illness and nothing to further better treatment & understanding of mental health in our society. It also doesnāt address the major societal issues involved in this tragedy. The episode was pretty crass and did not seem to properly honor those two precious children and their brief lives. I wonāt listen again and do not recommend

AxeCop1Rant heavyListened to one episode, hosts go on random minutes long rant about how everything is racist to white people. āIām not a racist butā¦ā -eye roll- the world is so unjust them.
-
jfginfujnNot what it used to beThis show has morphed into a bad talk show with too many opinions that have no perspective of other peoples lives. I.e. Tonyās big upset with masks - Iām vaccinated but have cancer and on chemotherapy. Some people really do want to protect themselves still in public.
-
Lakewood1138Advice:Skip the first 20-30 minutes to avoid listing to rants about guns an abortion. Itās like every episode, what the heck? Do you guys realize youāre even doing that? No one is here for that, make it stop.
-
momma hippieFrom Trish in KyI love this podcast! I love all hosts!! I answer questions and add my opinion. Wherever I am listening!! Please keep them coming!! Thank you for what you do!!!
-
Going Radio RentalJust stopWhat are we doing? This show has become a war on masks. Good god, man. Did you ever think that a lot of those people walking around with masks on are immunocompromised and terrified to remove those masks? And for good reason. This pandemic affects some waaayyy more than others. Maybe try understanding other peopleās fears and struggles instead of attacking them on a podcast.
-
NotintoRantingOn the fencePicked up this podcast after listening to Real Ghost Stories online. Both have been great to zone out on, but recently the host has been going OFF on rants based on personal feelings that has me ready to jump ship from both podcasts.

NoahJongoodgood topics and mostly professional research and format. great broadcasting style too.

SideshowBillAwfulEver wanna hear a doofus read from Wikipedia with a guest who has absolutely nothing interesting to say? This is for you. Lazy and completely cynical trash.
-
ayemeebEnjoyable listenThis podcast has a different format from most that I listen too. I listened to 3 or 4 episodes and the host is funny and he does quick recaps of current and old cases.

AnyankaAngelEnjoyableFound this looking for something new to binge. Listening back to an episode in July, Iād just like to say Iām one of the negative four who got (and laughed at!š¤£) the āWingsā joke and appreciated it, lol. Alison1840Check pronunciationGood topic choices! I'd recommend taking some extra time to check correct pronunciation before you read. It'd show respect for the material and for listeners. Thanks! Nov 2021: A year later, and several additional pleas from other listeners to check pronunciation seem to have fallen on deaf ears and blind eyes. Itās disappointing that the host doesnāt want to turn out a better product. Iām outta here

LoganfoolJoke right?I tried to listen to the Chad and Lori one.I threw up. My ears feel violated.

thisisfake713Michael JacksonMichael Jackson is innocent. I love your podcast but I am disappointed that you would compare MJ to Bill Cosby. Please do some research and look at lies these accusers have made. It was all about scamming money out of a person who was an amazing entertainer and humanitarian. šš¼

AshleeblossAbsolutely love this podcastGuys voice is amazing and story telling is great. Highly recommend!!
-
leahbobeeuhAwful cohostI like Tonyās shows and I like the idea of this show in general, especially recent news. But the cohost on the recent episodes is awful. Dude, if you donāt care to āanalyzeā the dark side of the news, then literally WHY are you on this show? Thatās the actually point and you are arguing with Tony. So annoying. Bring back Carol!
-
NttawwtDecentItās decent. Does have some pauses in odd places like mid sentence. Not sure what thatās about. I love how people are saying they need a warning regarding the, at times, graphic content of the podcast. Itās a true crime podcast! kinda goes with the territory. If you canāt handle it maybe true crime isnāt for you. Iām sure there are plenty of childrenās podcasts out there for you to listen too.

RaztagTony. Listening to you for years. Wow. Youāre losing it.So for whatever reason you open up another pod an and it seems youāve started said pod it was for nothing more than an outletf to yell Fuuuuu $$$ all throughout. The idea is already made up of weak sauce. You drove me away from whatever pod that you thought wise to bring you 12 year old daughter. Not her fault AWFUL showes. Inatead of moving homes all the time how bout you get back to your roots. That was certainly not you yelling eff all show. I love that word more than anyone I donāt feel the need to yell it all day long. A good reference is Phil Hendrey. He makes his character sound like they let it slip when it does come out. Maybe a bad comparison. Sorry this show is unlistenable. And thatās all your side kick does. She tries to squeeze herself in to the story every once in a while. Step out and take a look at your broken shows . In stead of just laying down music beds underneath your bed entire show and then Yelling eff. Or shiiii. All show long. Unlistenable

sammy b aWeak as waterSo you (poorly) read Wikipedia articles and you somehow see this as work worthy of a paycheck?

Angie MBCommercialsCan you stop playing 25 minutes of ads??

murseinsomniaCraving moreGreat host. Very well, thought out, detailed episodes. I wish each episode was one hour long, rather than 12-15 minutes. You get really into the story and poof it is done
-
TStewartOffensively unpreparedI listened to a couple of episodes; they were adequate for passing the time. Then I looked through the episode list and saw one on the Cheshire CT home invasion, and clicked play. For context, I am born and raised in Connecticut; I lived about fifteen minute from where the murders took place; the story was everywhere here from the time it was discovered through both trials of the killers. A family was brutalized. Two young girls and their mother were raped, tortured, and killed. We were horrified, grieving, and afraid for a long, long time. So for this fool to come stumbling on the story, apparently think "huh - that'll work for the next episode", and proceed to fumble his way through it was offensive. I can understand - almost - not being able to pronounce the name of one of the killers - it's not an easy one. Which is why MOST podcasters listen to archives of local news storie to learn the right way to say difficult names. But to pronounce "Cheshire" wrong? Please. These were real people who were killed. I was part of a real community that was terrorized. Show a little respect.

Summer RyListen every nightStarted listening to the Real Ghost Stories (which I still love) but started listening to this and now this is the one I listen to first every night at bed time. (Probably not the way to go to sleep, but I love the way Tony and the crew put things into perspective and say all those things Iām screaming at my phone.
