Justice (not a foreign concept) has never been so delightful! It always makes me laugh and I enjoy how much fun Bran and Dan seem to have. I belong to double decker solely for this show (and the late ‘history or his story’, RIP). I listen to yo gavel gavel as I fall asleep almost every night ( I re-listen a lot and have almost every show saved). There’s something about other people’s petty problems that makes my brain relax, plus I find Bran and Dans voices soothing apparently. The downside is sometimes I laugh so hard I wake up my husband. Anyway this review is circling the airport with no place to land. Thanks for making a marvelously fantastic show and helping my ADHD brain to shut up. 🙃

Love this podcast! As a lawyer myself, I often agree with Bran and Dan’s judgement more than the tv judges. Thanks for the laughs and the fun!

The highlight of my Thursdays, and I don’t usually like courtroom shows!

If you have ever been entertained by a TV court show, this is the podcast for you. It’s all the laughs without the need to invest time keeping up with all the options for these shows.

It’s said that laughter is the best medicine and this podcast is a great source! I listen whenever I need a pick me up because at least my face has never caught on fire and I hit my head on a rock in the sand trying to put it out and my parents aren’t divorced and told me I was adopted, and now getting back together or my brother hasn’t trashed a camper we were trying to sell like the people in these cases.

I’ve also listened to this pod since it began. In college I used to nap in the student TV lounge which played courtroom shows all day. So they hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for watching the shows so I don’t have to, because I don’t have time to nap during the day anymore. Please don’t end this show and bring back your other gems like History or His Story, Saved by the Bell (do the college years!), and Take the Day Off.

I am gavel obsessed! I became a double decker because of my love for Hallmark Christmas movies. Since discovering Yo Gavel Gavel, I have been bingeing all of the episodes. Bran and Dan are thoughtful, insightful, funny, and educational! Just be careful because the gavel is addicting!

When I discovered the team at BrambleJam for Christmas, I couldn’t have guessed how much of a true treasure I had found. It’s a little like picking your favorite kid, but Yo Gavel Gavel is the best way to start my morning. Am I ever watching these shows on tv? Absolutely not (been there, law school ruined that) but am I eagerly awaiting every new YGG episode? Heck yes. These guys are hilarious and this show is the best companion to my morning coffee.

I’ve loved YGG since I became a Double Decker in 2021. I look forward to every episode and love to go listen to the back catalogue when I need some nonsense. Be careful if listening while eating- so much laughter can lead to some risky moments. Highly highly recommend! Thanks to this pod justice is no longer a foreign concept for me, either.

I’m a huge fans of these guys and their Deck The Hallmark podcasts, but I had skipped the Yo Gavel Gavel show for some reason. I recently decided to be a completist and give it a listen. No regrets!! It’s a short, sweet, hilarious take on court TV shows. If you need a little pick me up today, give it a listen!

Then I cannot recommend this pod more. I recently discovered this fun time and then went on a wild ride listening to the eps in reverse chronological order. I stand by it and it is how I suggest you do it. Even more so, especially if you like laughs, I suggest you check out Bramble Jam Plus to get access to the 2024 eps. This show is just as good now as it was then (which is now on this format). Gavels Up!

There are so many court tv shows but all you need really is this pod. They find the best and the conversation and commentary make these stories so much fun!

I happily stumbled across this podcast and was hooked after listening to the first episode! The guys have a great repertoire and it’s just such a fun and interesting podcast! I would highly recommend listening to this podcast!

I just wish they talked more about a Saturday morning show for teens that originally aired in the late 80s/early 90s.

Absolutely love this podcast! Have been binging all day. Laughing along with the craziness makes you feel like you’re hanging out with friends. I don’t watch these shows, but love the summaries of the shenanigans. Thanks so much!

But without the shows, we wouldn’t have the podcast. I am always surprised by the outcome. People can be a hot mess and life can be lame, thank goodness for the laughs and lesson from the guys.

There is no earthly reason why I should like this show. The premise is insane - listen to people summarize awful TV court shows. And yet, it is an inexplicable delight.

A was super skeptical if this podcast when it launched. But I finally gave it a listen and I couldn’t be happier I did. It is a breezy, hilarious, insightful 20 minutes. Listen!!

Well the Hallmark boys as they are affectionately known at our house do it again! This lighthearted and fun show is the perfect way to end you week (or start it!) such a fun concept and it works because in Bran and Dan. Really enjoy the entire Bramble Jam network and this show is sure to keep you laughing.

As if court room tv wasn’t entertaining enough, Bran & Dan bring a hysterical commentary to court room tv shows! I don’t usually watch court room tv shows, but I’d listen to this podcast all day! Love it so much!

I started watching TV courtroom shows after we switched cable providers and had fewer channels to pick from. It’s so refreshing to hear others who enjoy trashy courtroom TV as much as I do. Now, I listen to the gavel and other Bramble Jam podcasts during my commute. Love Bramble Jam podcasts!!! PS: Absolute favorite is always Judge Ross

Great podcast! Definitely 5-star worthy, even though I completely disagree with Dan’s opinion that Judge Judy is no longer on her game... she’s my favorite!

I am not a fan of most daytime tv, but courtroom shows are particularly annoying to me. That’s why I was surprised that not only do I enjoy this podcast, I *almost* want to check out the shows so I can see the ridiculousness as well as hear it. I started with Deck the Hallmark, continued with History or His Story, and now subscribe to all of the BrambleJam podcasts. You won’t be sorry if you check out the other podcasts, as there’s something for everyone. Gavel nice day!

That I didn’t figure out a way to make a living out of watching ridiculous courtroom shows myself!!! This show is what I look forward to on my Friday afternoon commute. I listen, I laugh, and I totally feel like I did watch the episode of whatever show they’re summarizing myself. I probably should not enjoy it as much as I do, but I do!!!!

I didn’t hear the name of this podcast (wasn’t listening, too garbled - something about gerbils gobbling guavas) but it’s my new favorite. Smart, hilarious discussions between two guys who, inexplicably, watch courtroom tv shows. The listener wins! Luv.

This podcast is hilarious, I get excited whenever I see a new episode in my feed! A delightful recap of court TV that gives you a nice escape into the lives and justice of American culture. I started with Deck the Hallmark, added History or His Story (which is great), and eventually made my way to this podcast and didn’t realize how much I would love it! I don’t want to watch Court TV, but I want these recaps. Dan and Bran bring their usual wit, humor, and repartee. I’m sad it’s only once a week. I hope they continue doing this through the summer.
