TashBDavollGreat content and easy to understand as a new chicken keeperI’ve really enjoyed The Coop. I’ve been listening to it over the past few months as I get ready to receive my first ever chicks from Meyer later this month. The episodes are the perfect length and full of easy to understand information. Thanks Meyer for helping me feel better prepared to embark on my chicken keeping journey!

Quinn CohenI love this podcast!I found this podcast from my Chicken Magazine that I get bi-monthly. I checked it out about a month ago and I love the advice and guests that come on the show, and I listen to it while I’m working or crocheting. I’m currently working on binging previous episodes to learn as much as I can. I love this podcast!
-
nmilam8So Informative!!I love this podcast!! I started my flock about a month ago with 6 chicks and stumbled upon this podcast that I went on a hardcore binge on. I’m happy to say that chicken math has already happened and I’m now at 16 chicks (I feel like Kendra would be so proud and Jeff is definitely laughing and judging😂.) I have learned/ applied so much information from this amazing podcast from what essentials I need for brooding to discovering First Saturday Lime and how to apply it! Thank you so much for all the great info for us new crazy chicken people!!
-
ASMR_chickThe Coop is my fave podcastI love the coop podcast and also I wish Murray Mc Murray hatchery would do one. Love, Kylie Mae
-
956 Chicken LadyHonest Chicken MathI only wanted 3 Chickens, Not True. I have 20. The Chicken Math is truthful just like you would hear or read from different sources, but Kendra and Jeff make it easier to justify why chicken raising is so worth it. Their combined experience in chicken raising has brought light into what works and what didn’t.
-
lindsey ccccccSo helpfulI listen to it for Science in school. and it’s so helpful and interesting!

Kim EdsenVery informative! As a new chicken keeper I find the short, informative episodes so helpful. The ‘Year with Chickens’ series was particularly useful, covering topics beyond just the basics.
-
wvstevepPre-read the transcript!Good topics and content, but difficult to listen to. the speaker sounds like a robot only being fed a few words at a time. it’s very choppy with emphases in strange places. appreciate the attempt to give it energy and inflection, but it’s constant misfires. would be much better if this was more conversational.
-
chick outta waterA great listenThis podcast has great info for both new and experienced chicken keepers! I’ve had chickens for 3 years and still feel very new in this area at times. I pick up a little something every time & even bought “the chicken health handbook” for reference after the interview with Gail Damerow. Love listening to interviews with Kendra- she always keeps it educational, fun & the listeners in mind. Thanks for a great listen on my commute!
-
AhujaFamilyEducational and PracticalWe got into backyard chickens last fall and looking up resources on the internet we found Meyer Hatchery and their blog. This led us to this podcast and the Facebook group too. The episodes have all been informational on a wide range of topics. Highly recommended.

purpletigerfrogI even bought something!I love this podcast. They’re not too long and full of practical information and tips. The minis broken down by category are great, especially the ones that breakdown chicken keeping by the current month. I even got the lime subscription after hearing that episode and I never succumb to podcast plugs!! Great job guys! Keep it up!!

Flock House FarmsA MUST Listen!I decided to give The Coop a listen on the way to taking my daughter to gymnastics. My 6 year old son was also in the car with me and started to get really engaged and make comments. Chickens are just a normal part of our day now and they aren't that exciting for the kids anymore. Listening to this podcast kept him awake in the car (he normally snoozes) and we got to have a fun discussion after it was over. It was nice to see him all excited about chickens and we have found our new mother/son weeklycar activity!! Thanks Meyer Hatchery!!
-
