becauseimhappy333Amazing podcast!!This podcast was so refreshing to hear not only people who understand grief and the craziness that comes after someone passes, but also how they live on and deal from a multitude of perspectives. Grief feels more like fear than anything and feeling alone makes it worse. This is a safe space to open up and realize we all experience grief if we’re lucky to live long enough to have it happen. On top of that, some good discussion on topics that need more spotlight and great insights that leave you thinking. There is an open mindedness that gives room for conversation pertaining to subjects such as science and religion with curiosity and a desire to learn. Understanding death can help us celebrate life more. That is the greatest gift we can give to our loved ones who are gone. To live well. Thank you for creating this podcast!!

Katyquinton!Best podcast about death! This is a pure, funny and sometimes mind blowing podcast about what may happen after we die. It’s been a balm for my owning grieving experience. Thank you David

Jason PetelerDEAD Talks"DeadTalks," hosted by David Ferrugio, is a refreshing take on a topic often shrouded in gloom—death. With a knack for blending humor and heartfelt insight, David invites a diverse lineup of guests to share their personal encounters with loss, grief, and mortality. What sets this podcast apart is its mission to find levity amid the heavy, breaking the "don’t talk about death" taboo with genuine warmth and wit. Having lost his father on 9/11 at age 12, David’s own story anchors the show, making it both relatable and uplifting. Each episode offers a mix of laughter and reflection, proving that even in death, there’s room for life’s lighter moments. A must-listen for anyone seeking comfort or a new perspective on the inevitable.

RoeMnurseBest podcast sharing grief with others.Dave has brought talking about dying and grief out in the open. It is such an important conversation. Unfortunately we all will have these experiences at one time in our lives. I really appreciate the podcast and the conversation

ImulchieWell worth a listenGreat guests, insightful and helpful. It’s a topic that is not discussed much. Well worth a listen and follow. Keep your mind open and learn a thing or two. You won’t regret it.

CarrieM717Everyone should listen!Love this podcast!! I have always been interested and curious about what happens after we die!! Unfortunately after my father’s recent unexpected passing - my interest took a turn. My grief had me questioning everything I once believed. This podcast held my hand in this transformation. I am still navigating this journey and new perspective but this podcast helps soften some hard days and brings in hope and company on the days you need to know that others are walking this along with you!

Cara CaitlinIf you aren’t listening, you should.A salient grouping of guests with deeply meaningful and important content. This podcast is enlightening of many different subjects mostly hovering over the topic of death but also teeters on the comedic edge; bringing light and levity to some difficult subject matter.
-
M.NeskOne of a KindA one of a kind podcast that delves into the complexities of grief, making it a more approachable and less intimidating topic to discuss.
-
DaddyDis82Great, but some odd guestsI love the show and its topics, mostly, but some guests are an odd choice. Just because you know someone famous doesn’t mean they fit the mold of the show. Ari Shaffir is a hard pass. Not funny. Insulting and would go off topic a lot.

YourMomIsAlwaysRightChristine GrimmieWhile not a fan per se I’ve frequently thought about the murder of this young lady because it made ZERO sense. Still doesn’t, but listening to her brother explain its effect on him and his family, and how they’ve come out the other side, was beautiful. Glad I found this podcast!
-
chgrpadsInformativeI love this podcast for many reasons. We need to talk about death more freely in this country. When my mom was dying I had no idea that hospice wasn’t there 24/7 to help and we the family were going to take on her care while being emotionally wrecked. This is so unfair to caregivers. I also really enjoy the afterlife episodes as I truly believe our loved ones are there for us to connect with.

MusicMonkey69Coping With Loss?David Ferrugio is on a mission to help those who have dealt with or are dealing with loss. How do we move on? Super helpful insights with a great guest list. korey.m.ExceptionalDavid makes space for many as they navigate their grief journey and share what they’ve learned. His level of openness and authenticity is unmatched and what drew me into listening. I have been able to learn so much from this and after each episode I’m challenged to hold a new perspective on existing and making the most of the time I have. David is incredibly insightful and caring while also having a lighthearted sense of humor that is able to transcend difficult topics to deeply resonate with listeners. Love this podcast!

He brings amazing people to his show and shares about topics most people ignore.. until they are forced to deal with it. David and his guests Bring so much light to the dark! Topics most people do not want to discuss, but we all need to. No one gets out of here alive.. and we all will experience loss, grief and heartache. Talking about it is so important! Thank you David for bringing so much love and light to a scary topic! Keep up the great work, you really are a special soul!

ReeserRacerBest podcast I’ve ever listened to.I started listening to David’s podcast a little over a year and a half ago. I know he says with humility that he started this podcast in hopes that he might help at least one person and in hopes to also de stigmatize talking about death and acknowledging grief as something that needs to happen after death. What he may not realize is just how frigging much he has positively influenced so many peoples lives; how people share his same ideals and by creating a public forum like this can improve countless peoples’ lives. Thank you David for your content. You have for sure helped change my life.
-

Jene Sais-quoi30 Years From NowBehold! 30 years from now, David shall appear cloaked in the guise of an ordinary mortal, yet within the depths of his gaze there will reside the essence of mastery. As he absorbs the lamentations of the heartbroken and the mournful in this podcast, he shall transcend the confines of mortality, ascending to the echelons of a yogi in the realm beyond. The longer this podcast lives, the more his wisdom, forged in the crucible of sorrow, will instill a primal dread within the very core of your being, for he shall unravel truths that lie beyond the grasp of human comprehension. He shall no longer feel fear itself. He shall call his home the infernos of damnation and the icy chill of purgatorial nights, and his soul will wander freely. Beware, for his dominion extends beyond the realm of the tangible into the esoteric realms of the fifth dimension. Here my words, as I foresee David shall relinquish his corporeal form and unravel the depths of his consciousness in pursuit of enlightenment. Should you too dare to listen to every word of departed and the dying, you may yet tread the earthly realm akin to David, bearing the weight of omniscience upon your mortal shoulders.

Taco yeah starLong Time listener First Time CallerDear David in many places…..you are a very dear friend. there comes a time in one’s life you encounter deers and for fear of the fear running away you must write and endearing response when one flys a Batman sign in the sky….now as you know I’m no Bruce Wayne but I have had a brownie once….my hopes is for America to come together and become a safe place where we can talk and not hate people as well as go to the bathroom with running toilets cause I get there are places that you can use the bathroom Outside, such places on hikes, golf courses, your buddies, the gym. When you finally realize that you are just a small thing on this timeline of life but yet you are just as important as the most interesting man on the planet we know who you are….#ChatGPT baby try and decrypt this code!😂 keep it Jesus yall! Watch episode 316 😂

scrittore fantasmaSupremely Relevant!!This show is centered around grief and death, which we all experience in our lives. It’s something we should be talking about. Props to David for normalizing the conversation and being such an attentive and informative host! Everyone should listen!!

cole.hillWow…Not sure exactly how i stumbled across this podcast… I do know I wasn’t feeling my best… I’ve listened here and there, but the episodes with Mallaurie and Ariya were really impactful. You may not realize the impact of your purpose, but you should. I’ve come to appreciate the fact I haven’t grieved down important losses and how maybe I am identifying myself to much with that emptiness or whatever that nagging feeling is in me.
-
{_Tracy_G}Long time listener Finally posting a rating!I can’t recall how I stumbled on David’s podcast, call it divine providence, but having listened for over a year now I am continually impressed with each episode. I can’t begin to express just how much listening has helped me through not only grief from losing close family and other loved one but also through a divorce and many other life changes. I’ve shared several episodes with family, friends and coworkers. The content is top notch and sound quality is excellent

PuppaCakeMaking death as much a part of life as living!I think this show is one of the first of its kind. Grief and death are as much apart of living as life. David has taken something most people don’t dare to talk about and made it something we all need to see for what it really is, apart of life. I find this podcast comforting. Knowing we all have to or have experienced loss in our lives. From loss, grief, near death experiences, to what we might all believe is after life inside the great beyond, he touches on every aspect of grief and loss to what people experience after someone dies in our lives. I look forward to listening every week. I really believe David has found something truly inspiring. We all could use a little dead talk in a world where no one wants to talk about inevitability of what waits for every single one of us. 5 stars!

MeldejaniraThank you DanielleI can always trust NPAD’s recommendations and this is yet another win. I’m going to be binge listening Death Talks. Danielle’s episode was so raw and heartbreaking but I wish her the very best! (At her pace of course). Pretty new to the podcast but I’m glad someone is talking about death, in a respectful and interesting way.

Love the host’s energy! For anyone seeking to confront their own feelings about death, or simply to hear some profound stories about the human experience, DeadTalks is a must-listen.
