    Absolute gem
To me this podcast is the vanguard of contemporary American Zen Buddhism, it respects tradition but speaks from a place of lived wisdom and experience in the 21st century. Because of this podcast, for the first time in my life I’m consistently practicing and think of myself as part of a Sangha.

The path of aliveness is my Bible
The approach is extremely normalized and ready for the realities of modern life. Dillo is really helpful with how to integreat meditation and mindfulness into simple parts of your day. I highly recommend.

    Focus on daily life
I listen to a lot of Zen talks. This teacher focuses less on Zen “canon” (e.g. koan practice) and more on integrating Zen practice into daily life.

    Zenki Dillon Roshi
Excellent talks! I just listened to the first of the study series and it really resonated as do all of his talks. Thank you very much for putting these in the podcast since I have not been able to attend many this summer because of my schedule. I look forward to listening to more!

    Tremendously helpful.
The topics that Zenki Roshi addresses are simple but profound & belong to “real life”. I have found his insights to be “durable” & lasting; observations I return to time and again. Phrased a different way, his insights are “nothing special”, yet, I try to bring as many as possible into my day to day life.

    Helpful, poignant, approachable
These talks are positive and address many topics under larger umbrellas which encourage my Self to look at my life/issues from a different point of view.

    The most natural Zen
Very few living teachers I have encountered are able to convey the Dharma in as natural and tangible a way as these teachings do.

    The Gift of Dharma
What a gift to have such easy and convenient access to transformative dharma teachings! There is nothing aloof or distant about these teachings; they are made personal and relatable by how Zenki Roshi delivers teachings within the context of his own experience as a decades-long practitioner of Zen. I also very much appreciate his precise and concise use of language to point listeners to deeply explore the richness of their own bodily experiences. Explorations that ultimately allow us to lead and master our own dharma practice.

    Profound, insightful, relevant and grounded
Zen Mind is hands down the best collection of Buddhist teachings I’ve heard streamed online or in person. Zenki Roshi has a unique aptitude for weaving traditional Zen teachings into contemporary personal and cultural challenges. Whether you are a monastic or a layperson, these teachings will resonate as they penetrate the heart of the Buddha’s path. Zenki Roshi tactfully uses the exploration of language and anecdotes to eloquently articulate Zen approaches to transformation, realization, wisdom and compassion. What’s more, these teachings are appropriate for the newcomer to Zen practice and the decades-long veteran, alike. Sit down, press play, and welcome 40 transformational minutes into your life! - Charles Wolf Drimal, Bozeman, Montana, USA

    Excellent Dharma teaching
I lived at the Crestone Mountain Zen Center from 2008-2011, and it’s truly a gem in terms of authentic monastic Zen practice. Zenki Roshi is a fantastic teacher, and I highly recommend these talks from a remote mountain in Colorado to anyone interested in a deep engagement with contemporary Zen.
