Heard about the show on another show (true crime) I listen to, and had to check it out, as I’m a big fan of the horror genre. These three are obviously the best of friends, and it shows in their great rapport. They have some pretty amazing guests on as well. Very glad I found it!

I was hoping this would be a fun discussion about horror movies. But unfortunately, it’s just three people going off on tangents that have nothing to do with the film that they claim to have watched. I couldn’t get through 30 minutes of any episode I’ve tried to listen to. Y’all need to put the bottles down. I’ll give it once star because I had to. It doesn’t deserve it.

I listen to a lot of podcasts with hosts similarly knowledgeable about horror, but it’s hard to find a podcast with three people who clearly enjoy one another’s company as much as these three! Every episode is full of fun, cheery conversation that entertains even in its digressions.

A great show. Great team work and a pleasure to listen to. You don’t have to love horror films or drink to enjoy but it really helps

This podcast is worth a shot! Or must I say “four shot glasses!” Overall, the vibe of this podcast is spectacular. The added sound effects are smoothly executed. The hosts’ personalities are inviting. I felt like the fourth person in the room, simply enjoying some drinks and listening to what my buddies had to say. Before I began to listen, I browsed through the list of episodes and quickly realized that I had not seen a lot of the films on the docket. But instead of feeling excluded, the hosts made me want to watch the film. Don’t worry, next episode I’m watching the film beforehand to get a different listening experience. Great job! New fan!

Enjoying the show! It feels like home in the Twin Cities: light on the criticism - heavy on enjoyment. The 4-shot-glass rating system is almost irrelevant... You nearly lost me from the start with “The Love Witch” (style in abundance, yes, but so very, very cringe-worthy). Keep improving the sound mix - so I can hear Scott in the car whilst commuting on I-94!

I'm sprinting through the back catalog, and loving it. I came here because I miss sharing occasional cocktails with one of the hosts, and I thought listening to his podcast would feel good, it did, but it did so much more! I don't really care much for Monster movies, but the reality is listening to three friends that all have experience in Public History and are lubricated with cocktails can make me interested in just about anything. I'm so glad Mary is there the keep things legit! Love every time She proclaims Virginity is a Social Construct and insists we mention Tom H's bum a wee bit. Balance those guys out! Love the show! I'm afraid I'm going to start watching monster movies now.

As a fan of both monster movies and cocktails, how could I not love this podcast? What seals the deal for me is the chemistry between the hosts. The camaraderie between Mary, Dave, and Scott is fun to listen to. I always feel like I’m sitting with friends, which is what I look for in a podcast. Their cocktail concoctions always sound great and their insight never ceases to amuse or entertain. I definitely recommend you give these folks a listen.

Hey guys, Kenny from “Channel of the Living Dead” (YouTube for those that don’t know), and I listened to the “White Worm” episode today, and I loved it! You guys said something about being rookies, but I couldn’t tell from the show! You guys flow well together, and I like your obscure choices in films. As an avid fan of both horror films and cocktails, i really enjoyed this podcast, even if it makes me a little thirsty. The chemistry between the hosts makes it feel less like i am listening to strangers and more like I'm part of a conversation with friends. Cheers!
