I’ve been an avid listener of Jai and the Make Your Break Podcast for about 8 months now and I have gained more valuable knowledge and wisdom in that amount of time from him than I have from anyone else before. His message is life-changing if you’re open to receiving it. I attended his last Wedding Photography Summit and plan on joining the business map as soon as I can! I am a lifelong fan.

I listen to a lot of photography podcasts and this by far is one of the greatest! Jai is a great host, provides quality content, has phenomenal guests and covers a wide range of topics that range from beginner levels to more advanced. He’s very inspirational and motivating! Overall a great listen for all photographers!

This episode really hit home for me. As a ceramic artist, I sometimes question if what I do is enough compared to businesses that teach or transform lives in obvious ways. But listening to this reminded me that what I create does matter. My pottery is more than just objects—it’s my healing, my art, and a way to connect with others. Knowing that a little piece of my journey is in homes across the country is mind-blowing, and I’ll forever be in awe of that. Building a legacy is the goal, even if others think we’re crazy for chasing it 🫶🏻

This is a fantastic podcast for creative entrepreneurs… not just photographers. I have learned so much just by listening. Jai is so genuine and honest and doesn’t hold back! This podcast has so much value and I can’t believe that it’s free. He provides you with the information (and workbooks) you need to be successful. This podcast is seriously THE BEST educational resource in the community. Just to warn you, listening to this podcast may change your life for the better. Because of this podcast, I found Jai on instagram which led me to joining his SFBM. I’ve since quit my job and get to pursue photography full time. My life has done a complete 180 and I couldn’t be happier.

I have only listened to a few episodes, but it’s already affecting me for the better. I found myself slowing down (to normal speed!) and listening to parts two and three times. I’ve made others listen. I’m binging his Instagram reels. I’ve become a super fan over night. And in a world of fierce competition for our attention and one overloaded with people promising to help make you rich, I find myself sort of believing it from Jai. Some of his advice is original and contradictory to common business belief. And some of it is recycled in a way I find refreshing and relatable even though I’ve heard it for years without it resonating. Either way, I’m impressed by him (and that was before I saw his hair, which is wasted in a podcast medium).

This review has been a long time coming as Jai has been in my ear for quite some time now. He is an expert in all things mindset, business, entrepreneurship and so much more. This podcast is packed with value, inspiration and practical tips to have the most success in your business. I’ve seen my photography business grow exponentially, using a lot of what I’ve learned in this podcast, as well as his business coaching program, called The Business Map. There’s no fluff in this podcast— just listen to one episode and you’ll be hooked! Thank you Jai for all the amazing insight, wisdom and practical steps you’ve given in Make Your Break! By far one of my favorite podcasts to listen to.

Jai is not your average business man, but that is the point. If you want average you are likely to get average results. I have yet to find a podcast that gives this kind of value. Basically all of his “secrets”. I first attended Jai’s wedding photography summit for a whopping $7 (yeah really had to suffer by giving up a single cup of coffee for that one. Now i commute 2 hours a day to work and back and Jai’s podcast really keeps me sane and wanting more for my business. I am building slow with a full time job and a long commute but i really feel i am on the right path. Jai thinks differently and his podcast makes you think differently about traditional business. It is all about value first. I am trying to find ways to afford and make time for his six figure business map because i know that could level up my business. Unfortunately, i waisted my time and money on courses that aren't even as good as Jai’s podcast. If you have extra money or even time then buy metamorphosis or the six figure business map. I need to shoot a few more weddings and i will be able to afford it!

I still remember the first episode I listened to of Make Your Break. It completely blew my mind. My mindset and perspective shifted completely. As did my business. Jai has changed my life and changed the way I view business. This podcast has helped me through so many hard times. I cannot recommend it enough. So I started listening to Jai about a year ago and I was about 3 years into trying to run an incredibly unsuccessful photography business! The big awful imposter syndrome is definitely something I have dealt with. I have always been worried that once people realize that I’m not actually “a real photographer” or I’m not as good as what they’re seeing in wedding magazines, or boudoir shoots from other photographers… that they’re going to drop me. And it’s never been my client saying that I’m not doing a good job!!! I haven’t had an unhappy client yet. Even so, I always am afraid that they’re gonna realize I’m just some sort of fraud who wishes they were a photographer, and I’ve struggled with this for few years now. But listening to make your break has honestly lit a fire up under me that I don’t think anyone else has ever been able to do. Jai Long really aligns with the kind of person I am. I believe in kindness and love and helping each other out, I don’t believe in gatekeeping I believe in paying it forward and passing along my knowledge so I can help the industry grow and help people who may not have as much experience as me (which isn’t even much) feel like somebody cares enough to help them without expecting anything in return. if you are reading this, Jai Long… Thank you so much. I am preparing myself financially to sign up for your course and join the community because I know I’ll be surrounded by like-minded people who can really encourage me and vice versa. Within the first episode I was hooked. I am a commercial photographer and the way he communicates about elevating your business (and yourself) just makes sense. It’s about being there. Like Jai keep saying .. it’s all about showing up .. that is one of the main things I learn from Jai .. his ability to show up .. to record an episode, to interview a talented guest.. showing up and showing up consistently is in my personal opinion is one of the hardest things to do .. it requires discipline. And discipline separates the Man/Woman from the Boys/Girls… I was first introduced to Jai ‘s podcast years and the amount of knowledge this individual shared with the world is astounding !
