Ryan and Doug do such excellent work. From an entertainment and conversation aspect, their dynamic is ace. They do dope things and rep car culture in Colorado in amazing fashion. And from a fellow podcaster pov, they’re people to look up to who do things the right way.

The Steering Committee crew never fails to impress with their detailed car knowledge, excellent rapport with guests, good laughs and their ability to keep the show going at a top rate level!

Ryan & Doug have been putting out great automotive content for over 150 episodes. Having first been introduced to this podcast via the First Dibs podcast from Porsche Colorado Springs, I’ve enjoyed every episode since. Covering all things automotive and many topics on the fringe, Ryan and Doug have a unique dynamic, sharing anecdotes and interviewing automotive legends, past, present and future.

I have fond memories growing up listening to click and clack / car talk on npr in the mornings as my dad drove me to baseball practice in his mustard yellow 1978 Volvo 242 DL with brown corduroy fabric interior. This podcast is next level, diving deeper into the car scene and everything in between, providing energizing car banter for the soul. Where click and clack leave off with cheesy banter and jokes, Ryan and co pick up with a more serious dialogue of the car scene, both local and national, ponder irresponsible car purchases and their consequences (as we all do), and provide additional color through a wide variety of guests (waiting for some Volvo content!). A “must” subscribe!!!

I’m not really that into cars but I listen to The Steering Committee just for the banter and the strange obsession the hosts and their guests have about cars. Sometime last year, Ryan made a comment about how awful an expeerience he had with a rental car that was a boxy and boring Toyota Rav4. I own a Rav4. I haven’t been able to get it out of my head. Now, I find myself scrolling the listings for Porches and BMWs. I don’t know, man. Maybe this show is dangerous.

My father got me into this podcast and it’s quickly become our favorite (along with SCR). Ryan and Doug complement one another perfectly and the guests always bring an additional angle. Great hosts, great perspectives, and a great soundtrack for menial daily tasks and yard work! Keep up the great work, guys!
