Let’s face it: AWS changes fast, and there’s much to keep up with. I mean, how many new useless Chime features can there be in a month? Choose Corey Quinn’s laugh-out-loud AWS morning brief as a way to soak it all such that it cuts through the BS quickly.

Holy cow, this is an informative and funny podcast; and I listen with glee every week as Corey screws Amazon with their pants on.

I spent a week looking for the “Last Week in A. W.S” until I realized that this podcast was incorrectly named. 10/10 would search again.

If you’re looking for AWS updates without being your usual dry tech podcast. Then this podcast is for you. I truly enjoy Corey AWS insight and humor.

This podcast is essentially a reading of the host’s very useful and informative weekly newsletter. In the newsletter links provide a way to reach source articles quickly, provide the user the ability to skim over topics of little interest, and spare the listener the presenter’s snark. If you work for google or Microsoft and like jokes at AWS expense then this might be for you. If you’re interested in the content curation the presenter does in his newsletter, listening to this podcast will very quickly become tedious. I highly recommend the presenter’s other interview podcast which does not fall into the “anything for a snarky joke” swamp anywhere nearly as deeply as this one does. The point of this ought to be the value it brings to listeners. Not how clever the presenter can turn a phrase.

A weekly Vulcan mind meld for everything you need to know about new AWS events and functionality. Literally the only way to keep up without your head exploding. The jokes and puns make the dry facts quite palpable. Highly recommended.

This is a good one for me in that it helps keep me up to date on announcements and stays succinct. It does not get off topic and does not ramble on.
