Best source for GP CE info
Love the magazine and now the podcast. Very useful info that is easy to implement into daily practice.

    Glad it’s here
For a dog lover, negotiating the path of veterinary medicine can be challenging. Between the terminology and the array of treatment options it’s almost impossible for me. I have found that bring patient and trying to separate emotion from treatment is key. That is most difficult. But as they say, knowledge is power. Clinicians brief is one of the best tools in my toolbox.

    What You Want to Ask
Love this clinical podcast hosted by veterinary technician Beckie Mossor. It reminds me of going up to a speaker at a convention and getting to listen in to all the great questions people ask about the practicalities of implementing their recommendations. You get to hear how to make the advice really work without having to ask what you’re really worried are “dumb questions” yourself. There are great tidbits about the experts clinical experiences and extra tips and tricks. Plus, it’s nice to tune out everything else and listen while folding laundry or doing chores instead of trying to sit down and cram in a webinar while resisting the alluring call of other websites. Highly recommend.

    This idea needs some refining
The host talks too much. She spends 3-4 min asking a question/ talking about herself and then the guest answers in 1-2 min. I’m here to listen to the guest not the host. This podcast has a ton of potential, but needs a little refinement.

Great concept, but more practical information would be helpful
I love the idea of a Clinician’s Brief podcast! But I agree with a previous post, there too much chit chat and not enough useful information for practitioners. It would be great if it focused more on helpful tips for practicing, new research, etc.

    90% chit chat 10% information
There are a number of 5 star reviews for this podcast. I struggle with how that happens. 1) resume recital takes up about 7 minutes of each podcast, I DON’T CARE. 2) the host’s voice is physically painful to listen to, this would be ok if the content was better 3) the meat of the podcast such-as-it-is is far too superficial, I’m a pretty dim bulb myself and learned nothing.
