The Perry’s are a couple of my favorite truth tellers who can cut a line that will move you to challenge your path towards walking more holy for Christ but also lighten it with some great laughs. I’m so grateful and thankful for this podcast. I grew up in “the church”, but man I lost my way. A lot of how I was feeling is explained in such great detail from this lovely couple ordained & brought together by God, Himself. I started this podcast midway of last year, & I’m almost done with 2023. God truly has used the ministry of the Perry’s to help me and reassure me of my faith and walk with Him. Yes, the content you have created over the years and the conferences you have held speak for themselves. I have recommended you guys over and over because you lead people to Jesus and not to yourselves or to themselves.

This message to close out the year—wow, it was everything! I truly claim y’all as my siblings, lol. I love both of you and your family as a whole because of your transparency and the way you speak truth, always backing it up with scripture without adding or subtracting. Don’t worry about the critics! This last episode was a turning point for me—I feel ready to apply everything right now. I know when you return in six months, y’all are going to pull heaven down and pour into us again.

Your podcast is always a place I know I will find honest wrestling and submission to God’s Word. Thank you for your interview with Ps. Ray Ortlund about the evil of pornography and the dignity that God had given to us. The whole episode had me in tears. I have never heard mariage and sexuality described as sacred, selfless or beautiful before.

The episode with Sarah about lament was so edifying. There are many Christian friends I want to share this with. I unexpectedly burst into tears when Sarah began singing “How long will you turn your face away?”. It came out of nowhere to me. But the posture of my heart after listening to the three of you speak was just in a place of awareness and vulnerability that I haven’t experienced from a sermon in a long time. Thank you for this word.

As a middle aged white woman, I cannot get enough of the Perry's!! , esp Jackie. The words spoken challenge me, ring true to me, and leave me wanting more. I've been a member of Gods family for decades, but trials with my adult son , led me to Jackie's story. i don't know how you do all you do, but I'm glad you're doing a podcast . These 2 really grew on me and I love hearing their conversations. TThey are hilarious together especially the “we not worldly no more” episode. I love the dry humor. I just started listening to this podcast. I listened to a another podcast where Preston was interview and that brought me to this podcast!! This couple digs deep and their biblical references makes me want to pick up my bible. I will be sharing!! Thank you!!

I’ve been listening to this podcast for months now. I always find myself going back to previous episodes because there’s so much to unpack in it. I feel like I’ve really learned Preston and Jackie’s personality to the point that it feels like I know them personally. I love the authenticity of their conversations. I find it is something we need modeled for us in the church right now. We desperately need people to be outspoken of what American Christianity is versus biblical Christianity. I feel like they display that so well. Thank you for modeling to the body what it means to die to yourself, and wholeheartedly pursue Jesus.

Thank you for this hard conversation, we need more of that as people of the “church”.

I love how authentic Jackie and Preston are. Whatever is going on in their lives is just an opportunity to glorify God. I think that's what I appreciate most about this show-- I can relate and be challenged to rely more fully on God and allow Him to work through me and my experiences. Very thankful for their ministry.

The latest episode, (depression, suffering and the faithfulness of God’s presence) was an answer to a prayer that I’ve prayed for a long time, years. My mother has suffered with depression for what it seems forever, and I’ve prayed for God to heal her. Often feeling as if God doesn’t hear my prayer, and today He answered me. I’ve asked Him for guidance, how I can be there for her as she struggles with mental illness. Through this podcast, God told me to just be there. To stop asking for healing, but rather ask for Him to be with her. To be with her in her suffering and for me to mimic Him. For me to be there for her, without trying to solve her life. This episode has brought me peace, guidance and understanding. Thank you and God bless.

Always encouraging, enlightening, convicting and challenging. Most importantly, the Perry’s don’t exalt themselves but point listeners to the one and only true God and his son Jesus Christ. May God continue to bless your ministry.

Where to start!? If you want to genuinely learn about God’s word in different perspectives, or just learn about God’s word this is a podcast for you. Jackie and Preston Perry communicate so well, and in listening to their conversations, it helped me to understand scripture more by living through their examples and experiences. I have truly grown just by listening to them talk about God‘s wonderful word, everything spoken between them has scripture.

I have always had so much respect for the Perrys for their leadership, storytelling, and evangelism but this week’s episode “we are all just jars of clay” showed me their ability to be vulnerable in the storm. You know we survive off the words of our testimony, and at times it can feel like we’re just fish out of water watching the leaders who have got this faith thing down to a science tell us what to do. But in a week where I’ve been thinking about spiritual warfare and how its often a neglected topic in churches, this sermon not only inspired me but refreshed me on how God is moving through the body. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a sermon or discussion quite like this. How we can relearn lessons and be comforted by God’s rod and staff like Psalm 23 says. The Perrys and this podcast have been a huge blessing to me for a couple years now and I pray God would protect your minds and continue to provide platforms for you to encourage believers. Thank you so much for your honesty and transparency.

I love their conversations and I love their dynamic together. I’m also love the topics they pick. They make me think and gives me insight on things I didn’t notice or see.

I’ve never listened to a Christian podcast that spoke with so much conviction yet lightheartedness at the same time. I love the way that God uses the Perry’s in their ministry, I enjoy their banter too, I can’t wait to see how he continues to use them to preach the gospel.

Love this podcast love these two as speakers and just their story and their kids the whole 9 yards! So blessed everytime I listen to their podcast I have a notepad filled with takeaways!

March 4 episode. Preston’s approach came across demanding and a bit, well, arrogant. Totally heard where he was coming from, and don’t necessarily disagree. But to make the conversation about him and his demands just hit wrong. And I mean, it’s not like your “sister” doesn’t know how you feel. So it sounds like you making her jump through hoops for your sake. That’s not honoring her. I don’t know. Appreciate Jackie acknowledging the hard for her is probably mostly due to her past. So what if someone not with that story can attend in a way that navigates it somehow. It’s hard. It is. Question of our age… how do love people truly, while aligning with God’s best without “compromise?” What would Jesus do? Like, sincerely? Just can’t picture him having a convo demanding the person acknowledge his stance. Somehow, he would more lovingly and gently not go. Also, another option could be to not go to ceremony but go to reception. Anyway, it’s hard.

Yeah, I’ve made myself at home! Love the show, appreciate the transparency, & adore the friendship in your marriage!

I am really stretched as I listen to this podcast. It's so real and playful at the same time. They drop Bible knowledge. It's not opinions but what the Bible says! I love it. Keep holding the body of Christ accountable. I was reminded to minister from my weakness from the Woman at the well teaching! So much revelation. This was great dialogue. Both Preston and Jackie’s positions were relevant. I’m interested in knowing why Jackie would go to an unequally yoked wedding but not a gay wedding. I’d like to know why she sees them different. I see them the same. Maybe, different root. Same fruit. I’m just wondering. Would like to know her position as I think we send similar messages with both.
