Thebeach77Love thy neighborI would love to hear you create a talk about loving your neighbor even if they have completely different political views. How to remove the extreme hate and distain people are projecting on each other. I had my original yoga guru (for 25 years) attack me via facebook messenger just because she disagreed with who I voted for. She posts political content everyday and I just scroll past because, I really don’t care. I only commented or liked when it is a yoga post. I had to unfriend and block her because of the blatant attack. She is not living up to who I believe she was as a yogi. It’s heartbreaking.

Micks ManicomPrefer the more older, insightful episodes.Would love for some more content from a more spiritual perspective such as the period of your first book etc. It was really great, genuine & deeply inspiring content.

JustMe&Thee1/3 ads 2/3s repetitionThere’s just not enough content for the amount of advertising. The content is repetitive, same words and sentences rehashed over and over again. It’s not worth the time.

fauxfish! Why is this highly ratedStupid celebrities saying stupid things

missymiss907Ads galoreJay sounds like he's reading a script, with no personality, he jumps right to ads and I'm confused if this is part of the actual episode. I listened to him go on and on about Dove body care. Also, his meditations on YouTube were filled with ads, listening to his channel is not relaxing it's all a money grab

crystalisloveSell OutCan’t listen to anything he says any longer.

deansnannyPoliticsI love you guys but your politically comments should be left at the door . Honestly we listen to you for enjoyment not your politically rage ! No one cares !!!!!
-
lulablondiesGave it a chance but no moreI gave it a few listens and then the latest one features Kim Kardashian? Lol She is the last person I would go to for advice on anything…not even advice on underwear.

Evis KTrash Zionist SelloutNeed I say more? I’ve constantly defended this man throughout the years but that stops now considering he not only can’t speak up for the victims of Palestine but attends pro-Israeli events while children continue to be killed. You should be ashamed. It goes against everything you allegedly believe in

Wimzkel WarriorDon’t connect with itI feel Jay is a bit inauthentic and having a drink at Erewhon while coming off kinda of hypocritical and judgey. I think his wife has a great sense of energy and vibe.

dr friedaGriefI would like to discuss the grief of losing my son

NJBr!Hannah BernerIt’s really disgusting that a POC is giving Hannah Berner a platform after the macroaggressions. Lost all respect for Jay Shetty and I think he is a sellout. He used to be about peace and now it seems like he is a guy that drives a Tesla.

AVclutchDating OVER your 30’sGreat episode, but reiterating that this episode was for those in their 30’s only adds to that ‘timeline’ mentality you noted. Broadening your language to dating OVER your 30’s or 30’s and beyond would have been more inclusive, realistic and relatable. I’m 43 and single- everything you shared in this podcast episode was SO relatable for me but I almost didn’t tap to listen to this episode because it seemed so 30’s focused. Perhaps your listeners are mostly in the 30’s range? In any case, I don’t think it was intentional and loved the episode but it made me eek a little too. Thank you!

tiniwiththebeanieScamDoes anyone remember this dude is a liar? Lied about all his credientals but still has is podcast! Wow. Just no. Be you, bro. Or it’s a scam.

TonyShedJay Shetty Are You Stupid? The Telepathy Tapes?! Come on, man. You have to be smarter than that. You fell for that pseudoscientific snake oil? You should be embarrassed. You owe an apology to the autism community for peddling Ky Dickens’ lies. Non-speaking autistic people are no more telepathic than a goldfish or a daisy. And they can’t predict the future or see ghosts. Facilitated communication has been debunked by literal science over and over again. So why are you promoting it? Anything for a buck when you’re a huckster yourself, right?

If you believe in personal growth and challenging yourself, this show will give you a million starting points of how to progress in multiple areas of your life. Thank you Jay Shetty!

rosemarybakerHe needs to be clear and conciseAfter listening to a couple of these, i still can’t understand what he’s even talking about. He talks and talks, but never makes a whole lot of sense. Some of his points are good when he actually gets them across

honeylove777🤍Killed it with the '30-Day Breakup Detox…' episode. As usual, I'm obsessed with these quick, yet in-depth and effective solo episodes. Thank you Jay 🩷

Darren CharacterwheatiesAwfulIf you are looking to listen to the most boring podcast, this is for you. If you are looking for the worst podcast, this is it.

Jila MirPhenomenal ListenI first heard about Jay when I read his book, “Think Like a Monk” and this book really guided me in the goal I was hoping to accomplish to create peace of mind. I enjoy listening to his guests and also his solo podcasts about various topics that are super helpful to apply to our own life. Jay, if you’re reading this I hope you continue to inspire and I may have found the poem you were looking for and mentioned in Esther’s interview. The poem is called, “This Brick Wall” by Rene Bennett. Thank you for your wisdom!

StLaRuThis relationship expert is a clown.Sounds like this expert just hates women. Not even gonna finish the episode, J.

Miss BowieEssential Growth ToolThis is by far one of my favorite podcasts. I’ve listened to it over the years while I do my daily walks. I am always learning and growing from the guests and Jays content. If your growth minded this is the podcast for you!

PaliFreedom__SelloutI used to be in love with this podcast especially during covid. I was so inspired by Jay and his wife. Especially since he had multiple celebrities that I’ve been influenced by.. Then I realized when P@lestine happened .. they were silent.. they had so much reach and pull to influence and speak out about gen0cide .. and stayed quiet . It was truly disgusting and made me realize he’s a sell out just like the rest of them. Shame really

keikokomikokoiA fraud. A charlatan. Not even a monkRead the guardian article about him. He’s all about money $$$. And he’s fake doing it too. Despicable.
-
CelesteshereeLet themI absolutely love the show, but the recent one with Mel was a game changer! So fantastic—thank you, Jay and Mel!
-
pinacolodaHe’s a hackAll ads, & it’s been proved Jay has no credibility- just regurgitating what other self help ppl have already said.
-
J BuleyIrritatingThis episode with Bryan Johnson is hands down one of the most irritating podcasts I have ever listened to. In one sentence he claims to be humble and the second he claims to be elite status in all aspects of human form. It makes me wants to do the opposite of every ridiculous suggestion he makes. He’s selling himself the entire episode which is what episodes on this show do nowadays. Full of advertisements throughout the episode and within it.

flashrCOOLThank you for Helping me recovery from SurgeryJay, I had back surgery less than a month ago. I have been listening to On Purpose and want you to know you are inspiring me and helping with my recovery. I have started writing the book I’ve always wanted to because you said I should just do it! This is the year of “Learning” for me 😉 I do need to give credit to my brother who has also been my inspiration. He practices mindfulness and got me started practicing a couple years ago. He also wrote a book on the mindfulness of playing sports. It’s called “On The Ball” by Michael Lodewyks if anyone wants to check it out. Mindfulness combined with your inspiration through On Purpose has definitely helped me on my journey to recovery. Physical but more important mental and emotional recovery from pain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!❤️

chuckles5Commercials are long and frequent…brutalHow many minutes of commercials do we need in a 25 minute podcast? Not this many

Yung44005th episodeGood show ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
-
hoitkaTrauma episodeI used to like this podcast a lot more. Bob Proctor stuff is great. The Laverne Cox (episode) who I’ve always really enjoyed as an actress, really turned me off when she talked about elitism yet mentioned how statistically Republicans are less educated/intelligent. Shocked this wasn’t cut. Pretty insulting.
-
MarceloCDarosInteresting topics butLots of ads! It’s tough listening to an entire episode without getting stressed about the ads.
-
JsksksoksiguvvpapenvuoUsed to love this podcastI used to love this podcast but now I don’t. I don’t identify with any of the guests and some interviews are all around the place. I miss the old podcast
-
Jvsmine95Lost its substanceI followed this podcast when Jay very first started years ago, and so disappointed to see where it’s gone. Littered with ads and questionable celebrities sharing what they call, “wisdom”. Such a shame, but it was great while it lasted.
-
DanInTennesseeSome Good stuffActually there is some gold in this podcast, if you can get through all the ads. In a recent episode I listened to, there were literally 4 mins of commercials before the episode even started -and then the episode was frequently interrupted to give me more commercials.
-
💫avonlea✨Ads throughout episodes!!I can understand if you want to put an ad or two at the beginning or end, but there are ads in the beginning, the middle, near the end, and at the end! What the heck! It’s hard for me to keep track of what I’m even listening to because there are so many ads!
-
JCBK88Commercialism sold as WellnessHow can they seriously put out this consumerism laden podcast and tie it to wellness and well being?! I really enjoy what he espouses but it has the whiff of snake oil salesmanship with the interminable ads and sponsored collaborations. They need to rethink their model as it completely undermines the messaging and is disarmingly disingenuous.

Rebecca StumpfUsed to love this podcast, but the ads now! 😖I used to love listening to this podcast, and while I understand advertising is an important part of income, I have become incredibly disappointed to hear ads for traditional pharmaceutical and insurance companies. In the past, I used to feel the ads Jay took on were more in-line with what he preaches. But I feel like the recent addition of drug and insurance companies, is just a money grab. Taking this off my go-to podcast list, sadly. Just personal preference; I know not everyone will agree.
