I absolutely love The Gardenangelists! Dee and Carol make gardening feel fun, approachable, and downright enjoyable. Every episode is packed with helpful tips, plant recommendations, and plenty of laughs. Their passion is contagious, and I always walk away with new ideas and a fresh excitement for my own garden. It feels like sitting down with good friends who just happen to know a ton about plants. I want to be real-life friends with them! So whether you're a newbie or a seasoned gardener, this podcast is a gem. Highly recommend it!

I was first introduced to Dee when I bought her book to learn more about gardening. After reading the book, I looked her up and learned about this podcast, and now this is one of my favorite podcasts. I love listening to Dee and Carol’s banter (they sound genuine and like people I want to be good friends with). I also love hearing about their rabbit holes and all their wisdom. It’s a breath of fresh air that I look forward to every week.

I wasn’t going to tune in because I garden on what seems like a different planet. Summer rain? What’s that? Heat waves and hard freezes— huh? And weeds and insect pests I have never heard of abound in their worlds. But it doesn’t matter, this podcast has become a must-listen for me in my maritime Zone 8b. The quotes, the book recommendations, even the rabbit holes all make it worthwhile. I have learned to perk up my ears when they sadly say “it doesn’t like our heat” or “won’t survive our winters.” And I certainly have to time-shift literally everything related to planting or blooming or harvesting. I recommend giving it a try no matter what climate you garden in.

This is such a fun, informed podcast. These two ladies clearly have a friendship and I’ve been listening so long, it feels like they are my friend too! They always have great information to share and I like the format where they talk flowers and veggies as well as books! Keep it up ladies!

Gardenangelists is such a great podcast! Who knew two friends talking about gardens could be so informative and informative. From the carefully curated topics and the thoughtful, wide-ranging quotes to the improvised chat, they share their vast experiences and knowledge in an engaging, friendly way. I’ve learned so much and now I wait impatiently for the next episode to drop on Wednesday. Makes my commute and walks so much more enjoyable. Bravo!

I found this podcast last year and very quickly consumed the current and past episodes. They don’t take themselves to seriously but still manage to be informative. They are also a great deal of fun. I especially love their quotes and book recommendations, however the book recommendations have caused me to rack up my credit card balance on Amazon, but it’s not there fault I have no self control! Thank you Dee and Carol for helping me look forward to my morning commute.

My favorite gardening podcast!

Came across Dee on IG a few weeks ago and began the podcast and it is truly wonderful. Both women are a delight. I’ve learned so much and I’m going back to listen to all the old podcasts and it has made each day brighter.

These ladies share their gardening experiences with fun banter that I always look forward to. The topics are varied and the gardenangelists are honest about the triumphs and challenges that come with gardening, so refreshing! These are the gardening friends we all wish we had!

Or maybe it’s the feeling of gabbing with your favorite neighbor over the fence as you work in your garden. You trade stories, seeds, pieces of your favorite scented Pelargonium, history, and friendship. I usually catch up with the hosts on the weekend. They always freely share their knowledge and wisdom. I love tuning in!

I cannot get enough of these two Gardenangelists!! They cover so many interesting topics and are on top of the latest varieties of seeds, seed sowing info, books, articles, cooking and so much more!! One podcast a week is not enough!! Great job, Carol and Dee! Best of luck for a great gardening season in 2024!! Love finding a gardening podcast that has a host from here in Oklahoma. But the other host is from Indiana so they cover a lot of problems in different gardens. Truly enjoy all the information and casual garden talk. They share good gardening books and lovely literary quotes about gardening. I recently found this podcast and am now listening to all the back episodes while in my car driving. I have many episodes to get through and I am learning a lot. Love that they recommend plants. And tell the good and the bad.

I followed Dee on Instagram and enjoyed the views of her garden and her helpful tips. And then I found the podcast and I’m hooked. The information, quotes, and links included are all helpful. I’ve shared the podcast with my sister, ordered a book suggested by Dee and Carol and hope to whip my little garden into shape with their online help. I look forward to their chatty show every week. I only recently discovered this and find them so enjoyable. I love the quotes and the lovely mix of plant and literary information plus horticultural current events. The two hosts are a pleasure to listen to: no stuffy monologues or preaching. (And they don’t spend the whole show doing barefaced self promotion). Worth the listen! Great information for novice and experienced gardeners. Carol and Dee have a format that they follow (I hate rambling!) but it seems more like two long time friends talking about their garden. I’ve come to love the garden quotes and the expanded notes on Substack are a bonus.

This is such a lovely pair of hosts who have a wealth of knowledge and add in great anecdotes as well.

Carol and Dee are both as delightful and entertaining as they are informative and knowledgeable. Although their growing conditions are different from mine, we share a serious love of plants and gardening. Their friendly and engaging podcast has me smiling and laughing along with them ... I think you'll do the same!

Various topics discussed with an emphasis on what is going on in each of their gardens and what they are doing. I like that they sound like real gardeners who have successes and failures, but love their gardens.

Dee and Carol are knowledgable, friendly, and pretty funny, too. I wish they'd come to my garden and give me advice. Then we'd sit and have a glass of iced tea, they'd tell me a story, make me laugh, and never make me feel bad about not raking my leaves or forgetting to dig up my dahlias.
