MotoAmerica Off Track with Carruthers and Bice

72

We've listened to them in the media center at the MotoAmerica Series rounds for long enough and the answer is simple: These two need another avenue to spew so we've decided to let them air it out in a podcast. Since both believe they know truly everything about motorcycle racing and most notably the MotoAmerica Series that employs them, they're perfectly capable of taking off the gloves to see who is right and who is wrong. Yet, they still end up sharing a meal after the smoke clears. So let's see how much trouble Paul Carruthers and Sean Bice (beauty before age) can get themselves into...

    Josh Hayes episode 244
One of the best interviews I’ve heard in a long time. Please have Josh back in the future and don’t limit him on time. He has a wealth of great stories and his humble personality make for excellent listening. My young son met him at the height of his time at Yamaha, but he took time to answer a technical question from a future mechanical engineer when he was about 12 years old. Well done and thank you.

    Great show
Great show. Enjoy the hosts and the interviews. However, please no more Chris Ulrich. As a kid, he always came across as a privileged little snot. As an adult, he appears to have the emotional maturity of a junior high kid

    “Boring” racing
As for me, I’m recording all races of MotoAmerica, MotoGP and WSBK because have of a year with nothing pitiful. However, I think for fans to consider “the golden era” to be early 2k’s is because all of the manufacturers were involved, also promoting motorcycle purchases on Monday. Without manufacture factory teams by all factories it’s a lopsided affair. Love the podcast, thanks for bringing it to us.

You could be among best motorcycle racing podcast but...need some adjustments
Some absolutely awesome guests (Rainey, Edwards, Spies, Kocinski, etc.) & could be among the best shows out there but...if I may...offer some constructive criticism: 1) The audio is often terrible w/background noise, echos, your phones & computers dinging repeatedly. 2) Seems likely, by your questions and interaction, there is little to no show prep. 3) Interrupting each other asking questions gets tough to listen to. 4) Too much time at beginning of interviews greeting one another and small talk. I believe you are limited on time w/Podcasts...make better use of time talking to guests not about each other’s lawns. Not trying to be an a@$ just believe you all could have something, with some minor adjustments, second to none.

    Explicit words.
Hi guys, I absolutely love listening to your show but Im blocked on my company device. I didn’t realize my personal device would allow your podcast to come through. Unfortunately one small curse word is classed as explicit. I hope this helps anyone whose trying to listen to you on a company device. Some of the guests mic when speaking is very low and hard to hear them. Maybe remind them to stay close to it. Keep up the great work guys. Cheers.

Great way to get to know the players!
Loving the podcast! So cool to get to know a little about the racers, and the format is fun and casual. Please invest in a couple quality microphones though, and maybe some acoustic panels! Sounds like you're recording in a subway bathroom, which unfortunately makes the show sound a little low-rent.

    Started off ok......
The 1st fee episodes were ok, but has trailed off pretty quick. Corny & bad jokes, hosts talking over each other and the guests. Stopped listening a few minutes into Hayden's episode and unsubscribed after that. There are other and more insightful podcasts than this.

MotoA is bringing back motorcycle racing in the USA
Great insights into the teams, riders and what’s happening in MotoAmerica. I can’t wait for the 2019 season, but this podcast is making the offseason a little more bearable.

    What MA fans needed
I’ve always wanted to know more about MotoAmerica and the people behind the scenes. Great content, and I love the casual conversation format. no screaming sports analysis or overhype radio voice, just race talk
