    Not for
This podcast is well done, but I have too many philosophical differences as a runner. I don’t think low carb/IF is the only way to stay healthy or maintain your weight, and in fact can be quite detrimental for endurance athletes. I do agree with the importance of weight training, especially for those of us over age 50! I have gotten other helpful info from this show, I just will avoid the weight loss episodes.

Thank you Cynthia for bringing him on your podcast. You always have such great guests,I appreciate your time and efforts to help us all feel better ❣️

Essential listening for women in 40s
I have never written a review for any podcast, but I feel like this is long overdue. I’ve benefited so much from Cynthia’s podcast even though- the content is relevant, insightful, in depth and cynthia is so intelligent and thoughtful. Thank you so much for this resource for women

    Thank you
Just listened to your episode 397 and I want to thank you for being honest about your shifting views on fasting. I was a committed intermittent faster for years until I recently got serious about weight training. It didn’t take me long to realize my tight eating window did not allow me enough time to consume the calories and protein I needed to fuel my workouts. Fasting was a great tool for one season of my life, but does not serve my current goals. It shows great maturity and courage that you are willing to change course. Thank you for your wise example.

    So happy
I’m so happy that I stumbled upon your podcast. I absolutely love all of your content and it has helped me understand so many changes going on in my body at the age of 51. I appreciate that you get right into the topics and don’t have a lot of chit chat that other hosts have that have nothing to do with the topic. Thank you so very much!!
  • Ln298
    Awesome advice
I continue to enjoy listening to Cynthia and her guests. I appreciate being able to connect personally with the topics. I also trust the advice on supplements. It can be a struggle to decipher what supplements are authentically promoted.

    Needed Knowledge
Once you hit a certain age (mid 40’s for me) you wake up and wonder what is happening to your body. What used to work no longer does and you are left feeling hopeless. Doctors want to prescribe medication to “help”, but you know there is more. Enter Cynthia! Her podcast and book is a breath of fresh air! Thank you!

    Cynthia and Dr.Tabatha: Dynamic Duo!
I just listened to Cynthia and Dr. Tabatha… two of the kindest (and smartest IMO) teaching about peri-menopause and menopause. I learn SO much! Both are excellent podcasters. Thank you Cynthia for having the best guests and drawing out information that we can understand and use.
  • Deepthi-1
    Very informative!
I came across Cynthia when I started early menopause about 4 years back. I got hooked on to her podcasts very quickly as it was very informative and most importantly I could relate to it as I had many symptoms. I still listen to her regularly as things change and research is evolving. I do feel that some of the remedies/services are not available in other parts of the world and are not easily accessible but it does not stop me from listening to it as it is very informative.

I found this podcast to be incredibly informative as most of all of Cynthia’s podcasts are. It clearly helps the listener better understand how complex obesity is and proves the public is not educated enough on health. Thank you Cynthia for always educating women.

Thankful for reliable, expert health information
Although I have been a nurse for years, I feel like I sometimes play a guessing game when it comes to my own health. Basic knowledge becomes distorted when it’s your body! I’m thankful for the wealth of information in these podcasts. I’ve read several books by many of the guest experts, but Everyday Wellness is the place where everyone just comes together to teach and guide. I’m thankful for so many healthy opportunities!

I truly enjoy Cynthia’s wellness episodes. This one focused on non-nutritive sweetners. I had always heard allulose was one of the better ones, so this info has given me a bigger push to change and be more aware of what I am consuming.

Love listening to this podcast! Knowledge is power! I hope to turn my health around with knowledge. Thank you Cynthia.

    Informative and Trusted
I love this podcast! Cynthia Thurlow is my preferred source for information about navigating health questions and challenges presented by menopause: weight gain, sleep, Hashimoto’s, what to eat, when to eat, exercise and so forth. Although I routinely listen to others in this space, I’ve often found Cynthia presents the most consistent and helpful information. And, I’ve learned a lot from her guests. Perhaps most importantly, I believe Cynthia is an honest broker. My only source of confusion is when Cynthia and/or guests differ significantly on their recommendations- about protein, for example. The Episode 308 (and 374 - Dr. Mary Clair Haver) guest is great, but says that only 30-35 g of protein can be consumed at a meal or it will be stored as fat. Several other recent episodes note that 50-60 g of protein may be consumed at a meal, with 30 g being the minimum. This type of thing doesn’t happen often, to be clear. It would be helpful if Cynthia could clarify when she and a guest have differing opinions on a topic so listeners understand. Overall a wonderful resource - I highly recommend!
