    Vet Fat Shaming
Love the pod. Listen to 3 or 4 a day absolutely brilliant. Now onto the crime… my wife took our 10 month old cat to be spayed, and the vet had the audacity to tell her that our precious baby angel had a “significant layer of fat” they had to cut through to do the surgery. Pardon me!? It’s 2025 I thought we left fat shaming in the past. Now because of the vets slander she’s listless and morose. I’ve never seen her this way and it’s quite frankly heartbreaking. Drunk women, please investigate this atrocity. Our girl deserves nay demands justice. You’re our last hope for handling this before we have to take more drastic measures. Pictures of cat available upon request.

So, I love the premise of this podcast and for the most part, it’s a ton of fun. I do miss Katie, but I get it. The crass joking and language can be a bit much, but most is in good fun and I’m a big girl, so I roll with it. My main frustration is I like this show more than they like me. I feel like I am a fairly compassionate, open minded person but I am pretty conservative and an American. Most jokes at our expense are just that, jokes. I can laugh at most of it too. But I think I’m gonna have to stop listening. I’d love to be able to just enjoy the podcast for what it is. Oh well. Best wishes, ladies.

    Funniest Podcast I’ve hear
These ladies are the most entertaining podcasters I’ve had the privilege of listening to! They are so funny that I can’t wait for new episodes. I love this show.

Shout with triumph, fall in love
Start with episode 277 where you’ll find yourself shouting with triumph, then start the whole podcast from the beginning. What a delight and all around joy this ride has been 😍🤩😍

Love the show, love the Empire mashup
I love the show already anyway, but I just finished the Empire crossover and I must say, it’s far and away my favorite! The chemistry! The callbacks! Hannah George’s return! The number of times “sex tape” was mentioned! The chaos! The sheer number of times everything skidded off the rails! Just brilliant.

    American Opinion
Hi Drunk Women! I’ve recently heard yall reference poor reviews from Americans and I want to say that THIS American loves the show!!! It’s a great way for me to hear about true crime in a light, fun way that doesn’t make me more anxious about everyday life as a woman. Taylor, I so appreciate all of the “Americans will get it” references because I do get it!! Please keep being amazing!

True crime, humor, and Catie’s details - can it get any better? Also, I have a cat mystery for you!
Hi Drunk Women! I absolutely love your show, especially Catie. I love how she focuses on all the random details, just because. The show has been my go-to binge, especially when I have had a stressful day at work. I just got to the episodes from late 2020. Looks like this pandemic thing is will be over soon (don’t tell me how it ends ;) ). I also have a mystery for you. It isn’t a crime, so I understand if you don’t choose it. But I hope it is mysterious enough to make the cut. I will still love your show either way, although I might be extremely disappointed if it doesn’t get featured. Now, on to the story! When I was 17, I was living in a small apartment in India (with my family), and my grandparents were in a different apartment in the same building. Very convoluted way of saying that I would meet and hang out with my grandparents every day. My grandfather loved animals and would befriend stray dogs and cats, much to the annoyance of my grandmother. There was one cat that especially bothered her because this cat would jump through the bars on the front gate and into the kitchen to steal milk, get in between her legs and almost trip her, and annoy her in every which way. My grandfather cultivated a friendship with the cat by sneaking out glasses of milk to feed her without my grandmother’s knowledge (don’t be mad at him for feeding the cat milk, he didn’t know that cats are lactose intolerant). Slowly, the cat because really close to the rest of us as well, and she was really cute and friendly, and would BEG for pets! The cat was mostly orange, with some white fur around the belly and paws. The cat was able to get through the aluminium foil, plastic wrap, and wire mesh that was put on the front gate to deter her so that she could steal milk. She would just jump higher each time or claw through whatever was on there, and closing the door wasn’t an option apparently. Three weeks later, my grandmother fell because the cat tripped her and she decided that the cat had to go. So, I caught her (the cat, not my grandmother), put her in an opaque bag, and dropped her off a few blocks away, feeling really terrible about it all. The experience scared her enough, that she didn’t come back looking for milk or pets. But, a month later, I was walking home from school one evening and I saw an orange and white cat sitting on a wall opposite the building for barely a second before it saw me and ran away. That night, my grandfather passed away. Now, I have heard that cats can sense when a person might die, but surely it can’t be the same cat right? There must be hundreds of orange and white stray cats in the city! I didn’t see any cat, orange or otherwise, for days afterward. But about four weeks later, I was walking to school in the morning, and I saw an orange cat again. That evening my pet dog died. So here are my questions: 1.Was it a coincidence? Was I seeing a different cat each time? 2.Did she, in fact, sense that something was up and came to say goodbye to my grandfather? 3.Did the cat get revenge for the trauma I inflicted on her? Anyway, I absolutely love your show, and I really hope you go on a world tour some day because I would love to watch you live. Mathangi (pronounced Mah-thung-ee)

I didn’t think podcasts could get better
True crime plus British accents, AND it’s funny? AND THERE’S BOOZE? I can’t get enough.

    Taylor is my favorite
Even though I'm an anglophile (and american, sorry) I mean Taylor is English now, right?! Anyway I'm fully on Taylor's side and also a big fan of Catie and Hannah. Best podcast and I listen to, subscribe to MANY.

    Who stole the volume knobs?
I love this pod but I’ve had to skip loads of live episodes because they either sound terrible or are not loud enough. If I can’t hear anyone at full volume, I’m out. Honestly the levels could be better on the regular eps too. I love the crimes, I love the women and I love the drunk, just please be louder.

    My 3-Year review of DWSC
I have been a passive listener of this podcast for many years now, and I reckon it’s time I support it back with a review. This podcast got me through a job I hated, many sleepless pandemic nights, and countless flights. If you are looking for a good laugh with an extremely consistent weekly episode release, this is the perfect female-workplace-listening sesh for you. I feel like maybe a 23-year-old, loud American man that I am may not have been the target audience, but it just proves to show that this show is for anyone and delivers each and every episode. Sometimes it can be difficult to follow along, but the quick-witted humor and jokes that reference the guests own personal crimes reels me back episode after episode. Just give it a listen already!

So funny! Also I need your help!
Love this pod—one of the funniest out there! I have a crime that I need solved and I need the very best on this! I just got back from two weeks off of work. I picked up my mail and in the mailbox there was a single piece of cheese (one of those Kraft singles— I have no idea if that’s an American thing or an international one). The plot twist is that I’m a vegan. My question is who is responsible and why. Is this evidence of a wild holiday party gone out of control? Is this a protest against plant-based living? Was my mailbox just in the wrong place at the wrong time? Is my neighborhood in danger of more random cheesings? I own my own private practice so I’ve ruled out a coworker prank, but I need you to do the rest of the work! My mom lives a couple of hours from me so I don’t think she’s the culprit…

    So fun!
Such a fun group of ladies to listen to! I love to pop in my ear buds and do chores around the house and be entertained by this crew of smart and funny women!
  • kayteeburns
    I never review things, but…
I have to say these ladies were such a fun find. I needed something different to listen to but still wanted to get my true crime fix, and this hit the mark perfectly. I’ve seen quite a few nasty reviews about these ladies individually, and I can honestly say that I believe that each and every one of them brings something needed to the table. I absolutely love everything about this show.

    Get rid of Taylor
Taylor has got to go. She’s horrible. Disrespectful, unfunny, talks over other people. Sings too much. Too political and just an all around loser. I tried so hard to like this show but taylor just irked me so much I had to give it up. I can’t stand her and her anti-american attitude, and she talks to everyone like they are stupid.

    YES!
hi! I can’t believe it took me this long to find y’all but I have been bingeing ever since! it’s so funny and lighthearted considering the often darker subject matter. I really feel like i’m a part of the group when listening. and thank you for introducing me to so many awesome, talented female comedians!!! - also an American named Taylor ♥️

    Beware of laughter
Long time fan here in Oklahoma, USA. I’ve listened to EVERY episode. While finishing my lunch break at work, I was listening to episode 207. I ended up laughing so hard I choked on my water. This caused me to pass out. I then proceeded to hit my head on the break room table and fall on the tile flooring. Luckily I work in a dental office & one of my doctors saw the whole thing and was able to stop the bleeding from a large gash on my head. No stitches or concussion thankfully, however I did have to have my head butterfly stripped together. Dear drunk women, I still love you and will not consider this assault. Ps- I went on to listen to the rest of the episode, making sure not to drink while listening. Love, Emily V

    Best podcast ever! Please help!
Hello Drunk Women! I am a life time Mormon and a long time fan of you all (you can be both I promise) Your podcast is so funny and I recommend it to all of the people. I was hoping you would solve a crime for me… I was leaving the salon I work at one night after sundown. I was on the phone with a friend completing my plans for the evening. When I neared my car I saw a group of boys/young men? (It was dark) standing and chatting about five feet from my car. I got into my car, and was suddenly confused by a cold draft blowing through my hair as I drove away. I looked behind me and to my surprise the rear drivers side window had been smashed in. Nothing was taken to my knowledge. So, Who did this?? Was it… A- the group of boys talking in the parking lot? B- a crazy ex boyfriend? C- a burglar who after smashing the window saw the state of my car’s messy interior and ran away overwhelmed? Or D- The gross pigeons who live on the sign above my work who we are constantly having to chase off our balcony? Please Drunk Women help me solve this crime so I can sleep again at night!!! Thanks for letting me listen, y’all are the best. Much love from Salt Lake City!

    Sometimes funny
It’s absolutely disgusting when they swallow into the microphone. Taylor is a one trick pony with her put downs aimed at America, and doesn’t seem to realize how rarely she gets a laugh out of it. I have put a lot of time into listening to this show, but I think I’m done with it. The shine wore off. Katie is the best part, but sadly not enough to stick around for, considering the rest.

A fun, lighthearted true crime podcast
I can’t handle/don’t enjoy gruesome or dark true crime podcasts. So far, every crime I’ve heard has been lighthearted and if there is an occasional dark moment they don’t linger or go into detail. I mean, there are murders but it’s not like… horrific. Also, many took place a long time ago which takes away some of the sting. Anyways, I love all the ladies and most of their guests are really fun. I do wish there was more time dedicated to the main crime. I love the banter and stuff but sometimes they just barely cover the story. Also I find their “boo men, yay women!” vibe a little tiring at times. I mean, I’m a woman who hates men lol but it’s just like a little over simplified and basic white feminist-y. But it’s not a huge deal.
  • Mitchley13
    Funnier every week
This podcast was funny at the start but has really hit its stride lately…especially in the live episodes. The guests are terrific (top spot to Lou Conran who stole the show!) and the hosts are funny and quick-witted! Special shout-out to fellow Pennsylvania expat Taylor who always cracks me up! I think you will enjoy this show whether you live true crime or not (me).

    The best true crime podcast
Drunk Women Solving Crime is hands-down the best podcast out there. Catie, Taylor, and Hannah are hilarious, and their guests always bring something great to the table. Do yourself a favor and start listening today.

Its a true crime podcast, not one about politics! Please stop!
If I wanted to listen to a political podcast I would listen to one, but there’s no need to interject your opinion all the time, everyone is bombarded & stressed enough with everything, so maybe try not shoving it down listeners throats that just wanted to listen to a compelling true crime story. Oof! Please!!
  • Pibeagles
    love it!!
I don't know why it took me so long to find you guys (Thanks, Redhanded)!! It's funny, dark, and uplifting all at the same time, which is a hard combo to master, but somehow it works.

    Love solving crime- listener crime
I love listening to this podcast and solving crimes with these woman. I can’t wait to join Patreon. I have a listener crime. A few years ago after I became a single mom, I put my baby down for a nap and picked up the toys in our living room. When I was done, I took a small nap on the couch while my 4 year old son watched tv. When I woke 5-10 minutes later, every toy in the living room was on the floor again and there were markers on his desk with missing lids. I asked my 4 year old what happened and he said my cousin’s girlfriend came in and played with all the toys and left with the marker lids. She has denied the allegation. Is it possible that she’s lying and she really did need our marker lids? Was it someone else that resembled her? Or is did my son make up the whole thing? Please help me solve this. Thank you, Kristin

Fun to listen to, I like the format
Drunk women, Please help me. I’m a high school teacher in Florida and we’ve been victims of a crime. I hope you can help solve it! Last month was teacher appreciation week, and our student government association put air freshener, toilet paper, and hand soap in all of the staff toilets. We do get toilet paper and soap in our toilets already, but this was nice toilet paper and soap, and it’s a thing they do every year. They came by on a Friday to drop the items off, but by Monday morning the soap and toilet paper had been taken from both of the toilets on our floor. At first I didn’t say anything, but my colleagues noticed, too. No one has fessed up, or knows what happened. I hope you can help. The items were taken sometime after school got out on Friday, and before school on Monday. They were removed from locked toilets, so only staff (teachers, custodians, security, and admin) could have accessed the area. We do have cameras, but I believe they’re used to solve other types of crime. My suspects are: someone on staff ran out of soap and toilet paper at home, rivals from another floor who are hoarding toilet paper and soap for their own toilets (very 2020), or maybe someone didn’t want us to feel too appreciated. We’re stumped and I hope you can help us. Love your show!

One of my top three ‘always cheers me up’ pod listens!
These gals and their brilliant guest detectives get me through the week! A truly powerful sleuthing trio with the raucous good fun of a night out on the town, wittily solving crimes AND womankind’s equality/feminism issues along the way. ❤️

    Y’all make me laugh
Just wanted to say that I found you because I listen to red handed and loved your collaboration with Hannah and Suruthi on drunk women caught red handed. Y’all are funny, witty and more importantly educational. I feel a little left out though, I have never been flashed, but maybe that’s a good thing.

    Helicopter Stalker
Dear Drunk Women, I have a listener crime. Years ago I went to a music festival. On the first day there my friend and I found a great stream in the woods, a 20 minute walk from the festival campground, which we trekked to through farmland. We returned to swim again all the following days. On one of the days we noticed a helicopter flying above us, high above, but still obnoxious. The next day when we were in the last field, closest to the woods, the sound of a helicopter returned. Again, an all black helicopter, this time very low, hovering just above and behind us. We took off at a sprint to the tree-line. We were definitely freaked out but when we no longer heard the whirring we swam about as usual, then headed out. Upon cresting the hill out of the woods, directly ahead of us the helicopter sat in the middle of the field, waiting for us. The windows were tinted so that we could not see in even slightly. Suddenly the helicopter’s engine switched on and the helicopter lifted straight into the sky. It tore upward and off to right and away. I believe this was stalking by helicopter. Who was in that cockpit? Please can you help me solve this crime? Thank you for all that you do. - Jane

    Love this show
Love the show, and as an American, I find the political quips hilarious!
  • LadyCoxWin
    Very entertaining.
Edited. I really tried to give it a chance again. I just do not understand why people think everyone wants their political opinion. Time to unsubscribe for good to this one. I would have given this one 5 stars if they kept the politics out of it. Very entertaining comedy take on crime stories. Remarks about American politics comes up way to much and not in a pleasant way. If you can handle a few jabs at the US then this is a great laugh.
  • todaynot!
    Political views?
Honestly if I wanted to listen to a podcast about politics I would but the quips and constant references are annoying and truly showing your ignorance.
  • clovejoki
    Cockheads?
Apologies for the crass subject line. American question here: people from the Isle of Man are Manx...so I thought maybe people from Isle of Wight would have an equally flashy name...like Wix! Or Wax! I fired up the google and it told me that people from Isle of Wight are called...cockheads?? Is this true?? Oh...oh dear. Well this podcast is my fave, and not just because of the cockhead host (though Hannah George is wonderful). Especially during these unprecedented (and dare I say, “unpresidented,” times), it feels like a girls’ night in. Highly recommended, drunk or not. And thanks, Taylor, for making us look smart.

    Theme Song
Ladies, you offer so much content and delight, but, I always think if there were a Grammy or Emmy Oscar award...or well there probably is one for podcasts and public radio - being inquisitive and and a podcast dork...you think I would know, I would most definitely give you best original theme song ever of all podcasts. I actually enjoy singing along and getting it stuck in my head sometimes even while I’m home alone having a beverage. Please keep up the spice. Your fan and friend in fun from Bangladesh. PS. I’m not from Bangladesh and there is this pandemic, so podcasts and their hosts have become my connection on the outside and my best friends and company. Thank you!
  • LKG40
    Fantastic!
If you are in need of a good laugh this podcast is it. I regularly laugh out load and get giggles from this. Hannah, Taylor and Catie have great chemistry with each other and their guests, their callbacks are terrific and it’s just great fun!

I love this podcast. It is an antidote to all the S#%t going on in the world
I listen as soon as it drops. It makes that whole day better. The crime: It was a dark and windy night. The big old house was full of thumps and shudders and rattling from the incessant wind. And I was alone. I awoke to a bang and ran downstairs to find the kitchen door open and swinging in the wind. I pulled it shut and locked it, wondering if I had forgotten to lock it at bedtime. I checked the house for intruders wielding an iron skillet, then went to bed. In the morning I discovered that my purse was gone. When the police rang to say it had been recovered, I drove the 4k to get it. About 50 meters from the police station I was rear-ended so hard it drove me up a grassy bank. When the police asked me for my driver’s license I said, pointing, “Actually, it is right over there, in the police station. You see, I was robbed last night.” “Oh! You are that lady,” they said. Did the robber rear-end me to stop me from recovering my purse?! (No. I actually know who and when and what. But it makes an amazing story!)

    Must Listen!
A friend just introduced me to this podcast and it’s hilarious. I love true crime and it’s a great mix of humor, facts, and off-beat true crime stories normally not covered on other podcasts.
  • AnnLisa90
    Thank you!
I’ve been thinking about what a godsend this podcast has been for me during quarantine. My anxiety disorder reintroduced itself the past few months and I’ve found it incredibly stressful to go outside for daily exercise. I started to listen to DWSC while walking and found I’m laughing too much and I’m so engrossed in each story that there is no headspace available for anxious thoughts. The podcast is SO wonderfully crafted. Each story is so engaging + relayed so well- it speaks to what good writers + producers Catie, Hannah, Taylor + Amanda are.

    Absolutely LOVE this podcast!
I refer to this podcast as “My Girls” because I positively love the 3 ladies that do the podcast and truly feel like they’re sincere friends of mine! I *love* listening to the podcast and feeling like I’m almost there with them … their reactions are so authentic, it’s awesome! I also have a listener crime I would like them to solve … Here is the situation. I became platonically friendly with a male coworker about 5 months ago. I’m 41 and he’s 65 so I have ZERO interest in him as anything more than a friendly coworker. Things have been fine up to this point, or so I thought ... a few minor red flags, like him lecturing me on my salt intake (don’t even get me started). I found out this past weekend that he cyberstalker me. I found out because when he asked how my weekend was he said, “Spent time on Facebook with your friends?” (He’s not on Facebook and we’re not Friends on Facebook. Weird.) … then he said that he saw my posts about the professional development videos we’ve had to do at work, which I posted to my LinkedIn account — he doesn’t have a LinkedIn account and didn’t even know about the platform before this! So creepy and inappropriate! When I told him that I’ve been stalked in the past and don’t appreciate it, he laughed about that … How do I deal with it in a professional manner? I am so creeped out! Maybe he’ll read this and get a clue … (Haha. I also posted about cyberstalking on my LinkedIn account and asked there so …?? Argh! Men!) Adrianne

    Not Ladies.... Legends.
This podcast is like being at a party and listening in on an amazing conversation between people you really wish were your friends. I had the misfortune of listening while working out and at one point laughed so hard I nearly hung myself with a resistance band. 10 out of 10, would recommend.... but maybe not whole working out.

    How?
I’m a huge true crime podcast listener. I do not know how it took me so long to find this (thanks to Crimelines!) but I am soooo happy. This is exactly the true crime lite I was looking for to add to my routine. Love you!

    DWSC Got me into Podcasts
I’ve never been a big fan of podcasts but I was getting bored just listening to music while working out. Thought I’d give podcasts another try and started searching for a comedy podcast. This is where Drunk Women Solving Crime comes in. From episode 1 with Katherine Ryan I was hooked. I started listening to this podcast at the start of the stay at home orders in March, and since then I’ve listened to about 40 episodes. Each workout I look forward to getting to listen to DWSC, honestly it motivates me to work out so I can listen. If you’re looking for something funny and entertaining, and are into Crime/mysteries, then this is your podcast. Hopefully one day they’ll do a live show in Southern California, otherwise I’ll have to make my way to the UK. CHEERS!
