parrotdrSo helpful!Venita does exactly what she says she will do. She helps you feel like part of a large community of SLPs. I learn something from each podcast. It’s renewed my passion for speech pathology. Cuz let’s admit it, it’s easy to get burned out. She covers a variety of topics so I can always find a topic that I have a question about. And she is so sweet and positive with a slow paced easy to listen to voice. The best!

brittbnLove this podcastI started listening to this podcast during the summer and I’m almost caught up! I’ve learned so much and there’s so much I wanted to go back and listen to again just to review it (like childhood feeding and picky kids for when I have kids of my own). But it’s been really awesome to hear from other SLPs and not just about their work, but getting to know them!
-
Brittany0000001One of my speechie favs!I love listening to speechie side up. The interviews are a wide variety of SLPs, which I think is awesome! Many of which are bloggers or tpt sellers that I otherwise wouldn’t have known existed.. recently, I really enjoyed listening to the interviews with the pediatric feeding therapists. This is an area that I received pretty much no training on in graduate school, so it was enlightening to listen to those interviews. Keep up the great content! I truly look forward to each new episode.

Mia McDanielFeels like chatting with girlfriendsI love it because it feels like I'm sitting around chatting with my girlfriends, except they are all obsessed about speech and language just like me! To me, the podcast has really confirmed that we (SLPs) are all facing the same challenges while also all making a difference. Thanks for inviting me to chat - you are so great at putting your guests at ease.

speechiePMEpisode 16 - AACI must say, this podcast truly set fuel to my fire in my passion for AAC. Not only did Gail truly express reality in the AAC world, she gave her truth, both positive and negative, that I myself have encountered in my 8 years in the field. I found that I am not alone when she says, 25 hours at $0.35 made just to complete one report for one client. This truth is reality and Gail truly shines a light on the passion, persistence, and tenacity it takes as an SLP working with AAC. I listened three times to be sure I was in real life with a WOW factor that her messages and stories truly relate to my daily life in my practice. She reminded me that what I do is meaningful and doesn’t go unnoticed. She also preached the need for real education and hands on work with AAC to do “what it takes” for that client to obtain their right for communication surpassing their CCN. Thank you Kim and Venita for an amazing guest and podcast. You girls rock and so does LOU 🌸
