These guys don’t know anything about 80’s shows. Example: they didn’t know who Sonny Crockett was. Come on! Stay in your lane and talk about something you are familiar with because the 80’s ain’t it

I love the idea of this podcast and the shows chosen. The guys are decent but there are pet peeves of mine that keep me from giving it more than three starts. 1) They don’t do enough research about guest stars and the shows and assume no one listening knows. For example in the Stingray episode they say no one listening knows the theme. Wrong! Stingray has a loyal fan base and I even have the theme on my phone. In other words they treat the audience as if they don’t love and know obscure TV but we do. I’m always frustrated when they stumble over names etc. 2) one of the guys laughs a lot as he talks which is distracting 3) they also both say “or whatever” a lot which is what you say when you don’t have a lot of facts on hand. I know this sounds like a lot of nitpicking and it is. This is why I gave it 3 stars. If none of this bothers you it may be 5 stars to you l .

Hosts Mike and Mike first talk about modern shows they currently are watching and then dive in to a scene be scene description of a show from the ‘70s and ‘80s. Their tales are entertaining and they note how times have changed! Between the two hosts they a nice detailed summary of the episode and presented in a fun, light-hearted fashion. I highly recommend!

So many shows I once watched faithfully, but have been long forgotten in the clutter of on-demand and streaming content - this is a great throw back! Love the chemistry between the two Mike’s and thank you for helping me remember some of my favorite shows and some I still can’t believed I watched!

Love the back and forth conversation between the two Mikes. Listening to episodes brings back good memories from childhood and like that there are quick to reply on social media regarding future episode suggestions.

As someone from a slightly different era, I can greatly appreciate sensation of going back to your childhood to explore the media that influenced you. The two Mikes on this show do such a fantastic job digging into their past with a whole lot of delicious humor. If you're a fan of the 70s and 80s, you'll get a lot out of this show, but especially lots and lots of giggles. Great work here, Mikeseses!

The Duke Boys and Star Wars? What more could you want? So do the Mikes! Mike and Mike lived the same life many of us did and have the same memories of the shows we grew up with. Sometimes those memories are better than they deserve to be, other times they are spot on! The Mikes risk ruining those happy memories by lookng at the shows we rember so fondly and see if they hold up and are an enjoyable as we all hope they are. Fun show and worth a listen. (Just don't be too disappointed if you learn these old TV shows aren't exctly what you remember)

So much fun to take a trip down memory lane with Mike and Mike. It’s interesting to listen to the adult perspective of the shows many years after watching them as a kid on a weekly basis.

Took me back years, grew up watching these shows.....great escape for a bit from everyday issues that crop up.
