KALOGERASFAN2005Ermmm you can do betterNot that good I am a 22yr old who is Dominican and I am still learning Spanish. It’s making it even harder to understand since they don’t even translate what they are saying! ONE STAR
-
One ok rock fanNot easy at all!Beginner. Never took Spanish before n I’m completely lost. They don’t even translate as they talk. And where is the NEWS? Didn’t hear any. Hard pass.

AERDTHMMContradictingThe two speaker contradicted each other every episode, one would say this is how you are supposed to say this and the man would say no that’s not right it’s this way. It’s confusing to remember which is the right way.

Jezz143PotentialBut I can’t get over the “reading improv”

_crues-DullI disliked it and I hope you guys could’ve done better

asp612Light on useful contentA lot of potential here but I do not understand much of what is said and the script is corny and PAINFUL to endure. They discuss all kinds of things loosely related to the feature topic but seem to offer only a few sentences on the actual subject matter.

Julie TampaMuchas graciasI am a 60 year old college student completing my BA. I got an A in Spanish 1 (Required Classes!) But I got a 61 on my first Spanish 2 exam después de estudio 16 hours! I am so lost and stuck w prepositions, irregular stem changing verbs, multiple tenses. This podcast is much more ayudar than my school book and lesson notes. I think I might get unstuck. Starting with the cognates was magnifico!

SoothsayerDCAnnoyingThe hosts and their scripted banter is annoying and I force myself to ensure it. Neither is talented enough to deliver their lines like it’s off the cuff.

tajohn14Exactly what I needed!Thank you for this! I took four years of Spanish in high school but after that I was just using Duolingo on and off, which is helpful but I’m more advanced than the Duolingo beginner. I finally took an adult online class which was so helpful, but that just ended and I honestly didn’t prioritize studying for the class, so I love how digestible/practical this podcast is. I love the refreshers like ser vs estar - things I learned in high school but definitely need to start practicing again. It also boosted my confidence! Thank you!

candleinthedarkUna Buena Cualidad PodcastThis is a great resource. It’s best for people that have some background in Spanish vocabulary. It’s a bit boring to get through the first half of the intro, but it’s still worth listening to.

adventure's os Simon's scieneWorst podcast everThere is barely any Spanish content

BLM but YDCThis is terribleI understand quite a bit of Spanish but idk if it’s the mics or what because some words you swear you’re saying I do not hear. It sounds too much like people forcing their tongues to speak Spanish

StefBeaneA huge thanks!I’m thrilled to have discovered this podcast. I now feel empowered as I’ve struggled and struggled but in the first few lessons, especially Ser/Estar I began to understand. I enjoy the interaction between the hosts. The humor and fun is infectious and I believe it is a valuable tool in teaching. Thank you thank you

Driver 8-Extremely well doneThis is a great podcast. I have some knowledge of Spanish from years back when in high school and college so intro classes are always too boring. I can never seem to get past, Hola, me llamo es..... without losing interest. And total conversational Spanish is too difficult. This podcast hits that middle spot. They provide grammar lessons with a lot of conversational Spanish thrown in context. And they translate some of the more difficult phrases. This is by far the best Spanish podcast I’ve listened to.

doctor RSIncredibly well madeI’m listening to this podcast alongside attending some adult intro Spanish classes. It is incredibly well done; I’ve recommended to everyone else in my class. There clearly was a lot of time put into this. Excellent production values, lots of good use of supplementary materials, and a comprehensive review of intro to intermediate grammar concepts. And not at all painful or boring to listen to on your morning commute—on the contrary, it’s a pleasure! Clever, funny, and thoughtful.

A Cast-Iron TeddybearExcellent learning resource for beginnersA super clearly-taught resource for beginning Spanish learners—very helpful for reviewing grammar concepts and improving listening comprehension. The company has excellent and responsive customer support, too.
