A fun trip through the depths of movie schlock
Do you like movies? Do you like schlocky movies? Do you like movies of questionable quality and taste, with a cadre of wizards and an old lady that demands you strip for her? Hey, wait. Get back here! I’m talking about Movie Dumpster, a podcast for people who like their movies raw and crazy. From the olden days of video stores that required you to venture out to find hidden gems, Joe and Sean, with occasional guests, explore the depths of the trash heap to bring you video gold.

    Giving Classic Movies Some Llve
As someone that grew up not into horror movies to now being married to a horror enthusiast, I had a lot of catching up to do. I wanted to introduce my wife to movies she may not have seen while also reliving her childhood favorites. Joe and Sean not only give b movies the love they deserve, they take you behind the scenes. They have great chemistry with each other, their community, and the guests they bring on. Easy to have on in the background while getting some cardio in. Thanks fellas!

    Hilarious and insightful
I fell down the Screenwave Media rabbit hole over many years (not literally, like the Saarlac pit). It started with AVGN, then ended up on NOT Rental Reviews, then ended up falling into the graces of the very famous and important Tony from Hack The Movies, and finally I ended up here at the bottom of the Dumpster. Shawn and Joe are a hilarious duo that offer entertaining insight into B-movies, Tales From The Darkside, as well as newer movies. Give these guys a listen!

    Anal lube?!?!?!
Now that I have your attention let me tell you how great this podcast is. They are funny, accurate, and all around genuine when describing the movies they review. I whole heartedly recommend this podcast to anyone who loves movies. As we say on TimeSuck, 3 out of 5 stars. Wouldn’t change a thing. Hail Nimrod and Lucifina. P.s. worth every bit of the 5 star rating. Keep up the great work.

    Wholesome, raunchy, fun and honest!
I found Joe and Sean from another great podcast called Hack the movies! I kept feeling how these two really brought that podcast to another level so I really had to check out their podcast. I actually think the video podcast looks really cool it’s like 4K with some really cool lighting. Joe and Sean have my kind of humor. To some it can come off offensive but I really do enjoy joes accents haha. They literally have no filter and they literally remind me of people I would hang out with. I would love to see movie dumpster and as well as hack the movies rise to the top for movie podcasts. Great personalities great wholesome people they also interact with their fans and appreciate support and what I like about them as well as Tony is they’re very honest with their reviews and thoughts. Totally dig everything these guys create! Keep it going! From @danielouismusic

    Awesome movie discussions
I love Movie Dumpster! This show covers all sorts of weird, obscure, cult, forgotten, and bygone movies in a very fun and informative way. Sean and Joe are great hosts. If you're seeking something off the beaten path movie review-wise, this show's got it. The Movie Dumpster Universe (the MDU) is a hilarious running gag throughout the show. Check it out for sure.

I just started listening around October and finished the first season. This has definitely became a comfort show for me. I’ve been making a list of certain movies I want to go back and watch after listening to the episode for. I’m really excited that I have a ton more episodes to listen to. Thanks for such a great podcast!

    Great show
There I was, minding my own business, when some guy in a odd looking car pulled up to me and told me to listen to this podcast, and if I had seen Mary Shelley around?!? Not sure what that was about, but this podcast is great!
  • Patrick Carrico

    MD IS #1
like some other listeners i started out late(season 3) but this show has quickly climbed up to be my favorite podcast. the show is nothing short of enjoyable and entertaining. the three hosts (joe, sean, connor) are a wildly funny and knowledgable trio, so if you like to kick back and have a good time then this podcast is definetly for you.

    An absolute blast!
What can I honestly say about movie dumpster that hasn’t already been said, so with that in mind I’m just going to tell you my own experience with it. This show absolutely rules!! I had fortunately found movie dumpster well into there third season, so there was a ton of episodes to binge on and the thing is it’s so insightful and entertaining you have no idea that 2 hours just flew by and you don’t want it to stop . You can tell the three hosts of this program(joe,Sean, and Connor) really care about the content and the people that listen too it. With all that being said get ready and dive headfirst into the dumpster and find yourself a true gem of a podcast.

Came for The Terrorvision, stayed for everything else
Ive been a genre fan since i was 8, sitting cross-legged on the floor, face pressed against the tv screen watching Monstervision with Joe Bob. These days though i find myself burnt out on the over saturation of horror movie podcast and coverage. (And just everything in general) Recently, however, i had the pleasure of reconnecting with Joe from MD at the infamous Mahoning Drive In theater. He had surprised me with a swag bag of MD goodies and told me about what they had been cooking up in the studio. Afterward i dove in for the Terrorvision episode (one of my favs flicks) and had such a blast listening to the guys. Blown away by the genre knowledge and especially the focus on practical special effects. The MD gang has a certain charm and pacing that feels genuine and familiar to hanging with my own horror fan friends. Keep up the good work!

    There’s Nothing Like Movie Dumpster
Personal story to start this off…Movie Dumpster inspired me to get back into podcasting after many years away. So,outside of the fact that the show is awesome, part of the reason I’m starting my podcast up is due to listening to these guys & thinking “I want to do that too.” You can tell they’re having fun & love what they do & that’s what it’s all about. The quality of their work is incredible. The chemistry between them & the level of entertainment that they put out on every episode is unmatched. It’s easy to get addicted to the show & listen to one after another. The show has only gotten better over the years. They’ve grown a lot from their earlier episodes & have it down to a science at this point. I’m excited to have them all on my show at some point in the future & from the little interaction I’ve had with them they’re some of the nicest people I’ve “met” so far. If you love movies & want to feel like you’re hanging out with some friends, take a listen & I think you’ll love it too! - MJ

    A Good Time
I've been subscribed to this podcast for about a year and it's great for car rides, hikes, and cleaning around the house. If you're like me and you love talking about movies but your real-life friends won't indulge you, then this show is a sweet alternative. You'll easily get into the flow of these guys voices and personalities and wind up binge listening like I did. :P. Plus this is the only podcast I know of that has its own fantasy land, the MDU, where all roads come together.... Love the creativity. 5 stars

    All Hail Movie Dumpster!
These dudes absolutely slaughter the mic with some of the best chemistry I’ve ever heard on a podcast. It’s not only in-depth and witty, but it’s also hilariously funny and entertaining. The choice of films they cover are the likes of which other podcasts are scared to touch and they definitely have you thinking after the episode is over. Movie Dumpster Rules!

    Movie Dumpster Rules!
Do yourself a favor and listen to this podcast. It’s the ultimate chill session for the lovers of cinematic garbage. This back and forth between the Dumpster Dwellers is most enjoyable, and certainly worth your time.

    Amazing show with great people!
Love what you guys do and love all of the guests you have on! It’s like sitting in a room with your best friends while lovingly destroying films! Though do not think they only do trash! I’ve found so many diamonds in the rough that I would not have heard of without the group! Keep up the entertaining and hilarious antics and I can’t wait to keep falling into the MDU!

    Movies and Friends
I saw a Movie Dumpster post on IG and decided to check it out. I’m glad I did!! One of my favorite things is hanging with friends and watching movies and that’s exactly what listening to this podcast feels like! Each episode feels like I’m hanging out with Joe, Sean and Connor. I feel like we are roughly the same age and have similar interests like movies, video games, wrestling and comics. I also love all the voices the guys do when riff/quoting the movies, especially the John Hurt voice. I’m a fan of the accents and profanity as well. I’m excited to hear every episode and have a laugh with the guys. 10/10 Thanks and see ya in the MDU! Brian K., @SPITmodel IG

    MD is for movie lovers
Movie Dumpster is funny, informative, and laid-back; it’s like listening to your friends talk about movies they love but can’t always explain why. The hosts have a genuine affection and respect for low-budget filmmaking but aren’t afraid to point out when things in a movie get weird! Highly recommended for anyone interested in movies or entertainment, or if you just need a fun listen.

I love this podcast! Sean and Joe never fail to make me laugh.

Add this one to your queue!
This podcast is a love letter to movies. Joe, Conner, and Sean delve into those movies that you’d find tucked away in the middle aisles of your local video store. Sometimes they are hidden gems and sometimes the movies are awful, but this show is always a great listen and a lot of fun.

Where has this podcast been all my life?
Ok.. just wow!! I listen to a lot of podcasts, but man this one is one of my top faves. The guys are incredibly funny and such a vast well of knowledge, for me I have yet to not have a blast listening to each and every episode.
  • Not Tony From Hack The Movies
    This podcast saved me
A few days ago my wife left me for one of her boyfriends. The same day I lost my job at as Jesse Ventura's 2020 presidental campaign advisor. I went to the nearest bridge with the full intent of ending it. It was a stormy night and in the distance I saw a flash of lightening. Something about the ligthening reminded me of Frankenstein. I then recalled a movie where a time traveler ended up back in time to when the story of Frankenstein took place. I could not for the life of me remember the name. I couldn't kill myself until I found the name of this movie. So I googled it and I stumbled apon this podcast. I loved every minute of it! I listened to every episode right then and there on that bridge. I was a sad lifeless person until this podcast, much like the lightening that reanimated Frankenstien's monster, gave me life. Thank you! 5 stars!
