    Loving this podcast!
I’m loving all of Thomas’ meditations and teachings. As an active LDS person, I find these Christian but very non-denominational. The principles are timeless. Thank you Brother McConkie for bringing your being to the world through podcast. 💕

    Changed
I’m 52 years old. Too old to start meditating some might say. In 2024 I watched to siblings take there own lives. I have also battled with demons and have added countless lifestyle changes in hopes of one day just being okay. It’s becoming clear that the missing piece was mindfulness meditation. I’m cautiously optimistic that my 34 year struggle with addiction is now and forever manageable. As I say goodbye to two brothers, I’m now at peace with their passing and have begun a relationship with them that I desired while they still lived.

    Going inside
Working with Nonverbal Autistic children, my mind has been delving into what life is like without words to express my needs. Body as a prayer and learning to meditate has been revelatory in understanding my students needs. Even more it has helped calm myself enough to listen with all my senses. Thank you Thomas.

    Beautiful and uplifting
Learning to meditate, to contemplate, in a Christian context is life changing. This podcast invites and leads the listener to the Divine in a gentle, non threatening way. I love this!

    Meditation Manna
This work has been majorly influential in my life starting with At One Ment and continuing with a steady flow of gentle wisdom found in these episodes. I highly recommend giving it and ear then maybe a heart. Just see what happens for your way of being. 🙏 Thanks Thomas 🙏.

    Love!
I’ve dabbled in meditation and being mindful and it has always seemed to fall flat for me. Especially when attempting to join my roots in Jesus and His Love with meditating. Thank you thank you Thomas for connecting the two! I’m really looking forward to practicing and watching where this takes me.

    Can't get on board
Thomas' tack further into Christianity is not what I was expecting from him. I loved Mindfulness+ for its Buddhist roots with Christian adjacent wisdom. Now it's a full embrace of, not just Christian, but Mormon theocracy. I enjoyed when the goal was to offer an expanded path for those with Christian roots. This new format is a return to the religion of his youth where he embraces Mormonism and attempts to marry it with contemplative practice. The rebrand with FaithMatters which pushes "the restored gospel" of Jesus Christ makes hard not to feel like there is an agenda here.

    Hallelujah!
Thomas McConkie’s Mindfulness + podcast has enlightened my spirit every time I’ve listened to an episode - love it! The wisdom teachings he brings to us have been pivotal in helping me (and my loved ones as I share) navigate challenging times. And now he is back, with a contemplative practice to deepen our connection to our God? I’m 1000% in. “Come and see.”

    Quiet the mind
I’m excited that Thomas McConkie is back. His podcast is a great tool to help me quiet the constant voice in my head reminding me of my imperfections, and instead diving into love and peace.

    Expanding my tools
I have really enjoyed this podcast and everything Thomas has been sharing. I love adding tools to my toolbelt of how I practice spirituality and mindfulness. I love that he is sharing information and knowledge and also allowing us to practice meditation/mindfulness with him in each episode. The mix of shared information and meditation is wonderful and such a great way to introduce many of us to meditation.

    Engaging and motivating
I’ve found it hard to stick to a daily meditation practice, but the personal narrative at the beginning of these episodes really motivates me to keep coming back and gives deeper meaning/direction to daily practice. Don’t ever stop, Thomas!

    Just getting started
I’m new to mindfulness practice, and these guided meditations have been so helpful in getting started. I find it difficult to sit for any length of time, but the stories and ideas shared help me to remain still for a short time and access my inner self. Thank you for this wonderful podcast.

I look for this podcast every week.
I first found this podcast during the pandemic. That year I chose the word “Still” as my focu word for the year. That was when I first found this podcast. Since then I look forward to this podcast each week. I recently purchased the kindle version of the book, “At-One-Ment” I love it! As a lifelong practicing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I found the book to be very insightful in how to deepen my relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you.

You will LOVE meditation after listening
I went from being a person who often thought “I should meditate” to “I can’t wait to meditate!” Thomas is so good at helping listeners accept themselves exactly as they are. He exudes unconditional love. This is truly my favorite podcast.

    This is life changing!
I don’t know how to put into words the fullness in my heart? I have never written a review for a podcast before, but desire to express gratitude for this podcast and the work Thomas McConkie does. It was during a dark time in my life - perhaps for lack of a better term - a midlife crisis - where I felt lost, afraid overwhelmed and completely disillusioned when I found the course “Transformations of Faith” by Thomas McConkie. I can’t remember how I came across it but felt drawn to the content and started doing the online course and the meditations within it. It was beautiful but very difficult to wrap my head around a new way of thinking and experiencing life and yet there was also hope for a new way of being in my body and in my relationships. Starting the practice of meditation was uncomfortable in every way - but I kept coming back for more because somehow it also felt restoring. In spite of my very limited ability and the often underlying emotions that would come to the surface it was remarkable the peace I could feel and the responses that peace would facilitate amid difficult circumstances. The expanding that awakens your awareness to the immensity of love, wisdom, and grace available to each of us can only be described as beyond understanding. There simply are not adequate words to describe how transformative this practice can be. Again, I express deep gratitude for the hope and peace it has brought into my life and encourage others searching to begin on this journey. Thank you, Thank you Thomas McConkie for the gift of wisdom your life experiences and this practice have brought and your willingness to share that with others.

    Just a few minutes
I needed a break today. Not from physical work but mental stress. I found this podcast a while back and I love taking a few minutes to meditate and rest my mind. Thank you Mr McConkie.

    I’m new and loving it
I knew I needed something to calm by busy mind but wasn’t exactly sure what that was. I heard about Thomas podcasts as well as some others. This one is hands down my favorite. I feel so calm and at peace after listening. Ready to tackle a new day with compassion and grace for myself and whatever circumstance fill my day.

    Life Changing!
I started listening to mindfulness plus during the pandemic and it was life changing to me. It was my introduction to meditation and a new way of being. I’m so thrilled that Thomas is back with new episodes with the added perspectives from his continuing education.

My favorite East plus West teacher
I love this podcast’s balance of a teaching and a guided meditation, its synthesis of many spiritual and scientific traditions, its integration of body, mind, and spirit— such a nourishing way to begin, end, or reset a day. I am thrilled that Thomas is working on a Harvard Divinity graduate degree to research his confluence of traditions so he can continue to discover and share his insights with us, and he will be invited into new circles for sharing them.

    Timeless Teachings
Found this podcast less than a year ago. I don’t miss a morning of mindfulness now. I notice it’s lengthening that little space of time between what happens and my reaction. I spend more time aware. Awake. And at peace.

    Transformative
I can’t pinpoint exactly what meditation does or how McConkie speaks to my soul, but this content and the meditative practices guided by Thomas McConkie have moved me in ways I didn’t know were available. Who knew there was such depth and power in some added stillness to our lives. If you’re not sure where to start with meditative practices, this is the best place I can think to begin.

Bonus Episode: Yoga Nidra with Kelly Boys
I love listening to Mindfulness + and Thomas is an absolutely brilliant teacher. I was especially delighted to come across the episode about Yoga Nidra with Kelly Boys. As a practitioner with Lower Lights Wisdom and a teacher of iRest Yoga Nidra it truly made my heart happy. I enjoyed hearing Kelly’s story of moving between knowing self through relationship with God to knowing self though the experience of welcoming everything that arises internally. Probably because I have taken this same path and found so much beauty in it. I loved seeing the meeting points and overlap between the Mindfulness + practice and Yoga Nidra practice. My favorite quote from the episode is “Embodiment is a human right”.

Ancient Wisdom for the Modern World
I have been listening to Thomas’ podcast for over a year now. Initially, I just listened before bed and found that it was a good way to fall asleep at night. It helped to quite my mind and find calm in troublesome times. As I begin to listen with more intent, I began to learn of the transformative nature of the ancient practice. I love how Thomas shares a story or pearl of wisdom at the beginning of each lesson and then puts it into practice with a short meditation session. His delivery comes across as sincere, heartfelt, and real, unlike other apps or podcasts that have listened to before, which have a slightly more manufactured feel to them. I now find myself listening to the episodes in the morning to ground myself before a busy day of work. I also love sharing the stories & teachings with our children when we hold family meditation sessions.

Unearthing Peace by Way of the War Within
Stumbling blocks to stepping stones. Taking clay suffering and compassionate refashioning into a living, evolving sculpture. This podcast does this. All you need is your humanness and a familiarity with suffering. Thank you so much for the conversations, the practicing (with bell/gong even!!), and the realness. Walking thru life with influences like this podcast, its host and guests, is a type of waking up to surroundings of safe and nourishing friendship and a rise of hope within.

    Hooray for season 5
I have listened to each episode of every season more than once. With such a long gap between season 4 and 5, I thought maybe Thomas had retired the podcast. I was absolutely thrilled to see a new episode and new season began! Thank you for continuing this amazing source of mindfulness!!!

    Great for the soul
I love this podcast for so many reasons, though it’s hard to explain why. It’s very calming and eye opening. It makes me think about things that I didn’t before. It helps with reflection, ways to improve my mind, body and spirit. Hopefully helping me to become a more “mindful” person. I enjoy both the teachings and the meditations. Thomas has the perfect voice for this type of teaching.
