Great host chemistry and interesting conversations
An entertaining podcast about fountain pens. I love and miss this podcast so much.

    I miss this show!
Perhaps a guilty pleasure admission but this is my favorite podcast. So fun and informative. I really enjoy the chemistry between the hosts - makes this an easy, casual listen. Also a dangerous show for my wallet. Where did you guys go? Please come back!

The podcast that puts Australia's pen community on the map.
I discovered "The Nib Section" a few odd weeks ago, and sadly I'm nearly finished listening to all the episodes. The banter among the rotating panel of hosts and guests is always witty and good natured, as well as organized and thoughtfully structured. Opinions are wide-ranging and ubiquitous, even if consensus is (thankfully) not. The panel's tastes and preferences is quite balanced from host-to-host, and there's always a member who's correctly aligned with my opinion on most topics. :-) It's been such a treat to binge thru show after show - basquing in their cheeky humor and breadth of knowledge and experience. Lastly, it must be pointed out that Chuck's show intro's are the best in all of podcasting and cannot be imitated (try as others might!). Please keep them coming, tales of your pen travels are a welcome distraction from workaday life.

    Highly Recommended Podcast
This is my first podcast review! Episode 68 was another excellent conversation/frank review—this time, of the Esterbrook pens provided to you all. It’s an excellent example of the quality of this podcast. I always appreciate everyone’s authenticity. Their questions of their guests are thoughtful, and they all clearly take their work/roles very seriously. And, they all seem so clearly fond of each other. All of this makes for a podcast I look forward to every time. It’s not just one I have on in the background, while I do something else. In addition, these folx demonstrate such thoughtfulness and caring about things other than pens and stationery; such mental health and awareness of social & racial justice issues.

    Great podcast!
This is among my very favorite podcasts! The presenters know each other well and their synergy is fantastic. Each has their own approach to issues concepts and pens! The combination of the various presenters and occasional guests makes for a wonderful melange of personalities and discussions! Always look forward to each new episode!

    Funny, interesting, entertaining
I can't even explain why I love this podcast so much. I'm three years into this hobby and there is so much to lean still. This crew goes through every detail of the fountain pen world as they slowly get drunk on champagne (or blanc de blancs?). My personal favorite episodes are when they totally dismantle the mystique of expensive pens by ragging on Visconti and other thousand-dollar-pen brands. Tune in to just one episode and you'll be hooked!

    My favorite podcast
The Nib Section is not just my favorite stationery podcast but my favorite podcast period. Sharon, Chuckx, and Diana are extremely knowledgeable, but they are also able to articulate verbally the subtleties of pen experience in a way that many are not. They are always fun and entertaining, but they are also very informative. This podcast is a pleasure to listen to but also a great resource. It provide insights into the Asian pen market that would otherwise be unavailable to listeners like me in the US. And while this is a pen podcast, the hosts also speak with intelligence and nuance about social and cultural issues when they intersect with the show’s content. In addition, they bring on other experts from the pen community and bring out the best of them with their excellent interview skills. They’re recurring guests and alternate hosts are also fun, friendly, and intelligent (Mel, Tav, Leo, Tom, and so many others). If you can’t already tell, I love this podcast, and the people who run it. Keep up the great work, and thank you so much!

    Love Me Some Recs
It goes without saying that Chux, Diana, Sharon, and the rest of the Sydney and Melbourne crew have lavished us with their fountain pen knowledge, intelligent conversation, and slightly drunken silliness. But the value of their recommendations is off the charts. Keep them coming.

    A Gem of A Podcast
The hosts of this podcast could talk about almost any subject and I would listen to it. Chuck, Sharyn, and Diana are smart, articulate, and funny. Their conversations are thoughtful and nuanced. That they are talking about fountain pens is just icing on the cake. They close each podcast with non-fountain pen related recommendations based on what they are currently reading, watching, and sometimes even wearing. A beautiful little podcast that will leave you waiting for the next installment.

    Great show
Not only is this show informative, it is quite entertaining. I enjoy the selection of guests and the topics that are generally select. Being a ballpoint pen user and collector I appreciated the inclusion of a ballpoint pen episode as well. Thank you for putting on a great show.

    My favorite podcast!
I always enjoy all of the Nib Section hosts...they have so much fun together. I am always fond of their humor and sarcasm between all of them. This is the perfect podcast for my morning commute. Such a great way to start my day. They all have a great sense of humor and all are well versed in all things pen. Great place for fountain pen recommendations and advice.

    Great Pen Talk! (revised)
I originally loved this podcast until...one of the hosts ranted about being non politically correct about how a pen was advertised, ("for wommen", etc..). Then the same person went on another rant about how it was unacceptable for a private company to advertise to a pen for women. This PC person ruined this show for me. People seem to need to voice their political options at everyone when no one cares. A company can advertise how it wants, dont like it then dont buy it but stop with the PC lectures!

    Pen geeks rejoice
Pen geeks, this is the podcast you're looking for! Great content and discussions.

    Down Under comes up trumps
Adore this podcast. I'm impressed by this warm group - there is continuity but hosts vary episode by episode - great voices to listen to (who knew a Brit in the US would miss the Australian accent?) and a marvellous mixture of topics. There are clearly different levels of knowledge but equally everyone is welcome. Doubt I could enjoy it more. Only wish there were more episodes to catch up with.

    All things pens!
Great fountain pen related podcast with a nice variety or contributors to the show that makes it super interesting! Especially enjoyed the latest podcast about nibs. :) Mark Bacas (@nibgrinder on twitter, instagram, facebook)

Interesting, and I like the accents
Nice, enjoyable roundtable by our friends in Australia. Enjoy hearing their take. Please keep going, and I'll keep listening.

    Fabulous!
This is a really fun podcast - the enthusiasm of the hosts is infectious and engaging. It's great to hear the Oceania view of fountain pens and ink. I love that the hosts are a mix of opinions and experience with pens, ink, stationery and share their opinions with mutual respect and interest. Plus I learned a lot about how to visit Japan to focus on fountain pen/staionery stores. Perfect length podcast for listening on my drive to/from work. Keep up the great work - very entertaining!
