Every month I look forward to this podcast. I wish it was weekly! I’m a western rider (shout out to Ellie) and still a fairly new rider and horse owner but always learn so much. All 3 are so informative and fun. Love the drink recipes, rose & thorn, various guests and product reviews. I have bought several products I’ve heard about on this show!

This podcast is so informative but also fun - the perfect mix of professional and casual and feeds my craving to talk about nothing but horses.

I recently just got a new horse. And i always want to hear other people and their different opinions on horse care, because i do a lot of reading about horse care and i also am 10 and not allowed to watch YouTube but i do learn a lot from podcasts!! But i also ride western and it is hard to find good Western podcasts:(!! So then i was scrolling in the Podcasts app and i found… Heels Down Happy Hour!!💜💙 I thought it was mostly English riding but then i realized they had a good connection with Reining and i flipped out!!!! I lOVE this podcast because it is CLEAN and so i can listen with my young ears , and still learn about the AWESOME ANIMALS🐴❤️💙💜🐎🏇🎠!!! I love your podcasts!

I just finished bingeing all the episodes and now I’m sad that I have two wait two weeks for a new episode! I’m thoroughly obsessed with this podcast. The hosts are super down to earth and hilarious to boot.

My daughter and I listen together in the truck on the way to riding lessons. We love it, it is fun, informative, and inclusive.

I’m a podcast junky. Being on the road for work often leaves me looking for something that is educational, lighthearted, and of course about horses. This podcast fits the bill perfectly!! I always end up learning something new and laughing!! Love the hosts and this podcast!

I’m an avid podcast listener and this one has to be my absolute favorite. Today, I realized that I had listened to close to 70 of their episodes within a month or so of discovering this podcast. I actually look forward to doing stalls so I can put my AirPods in and listen to a few episodes. It’s the perfect mix of important news, funny stories, and educational information about all aspects of training and horses. No matter who they have on the show, it keeps me interested with so many different segments and information just in one episode. I recommend this podcast for any horse lover from the college kid taking a break from riding who just wants to stay involved in the horse world (like me) to top professionals!!

One of my favorite podcasts to listen to! I love hearing the different viewpoints between an adult amateur, some who owns their own barn and keeps their horses at home, and one of the top professional eventing programs! The funny news stories and tangents keep you on your toes at all times! Funny, always learn something new, and relatable!

Love this podcast. I am an adult who is not nearly as far along with my horse as I’d like to be, and am trying to break into the show scene. Listening to the podcast keeps me motivated this winter in New England! Helpful product reviews and relevant news.

Love this podcast. It is like hanging out with girlfriends while you commute. Always a fun way to pass the time in the car. Sometimes I have to finish an episode in the parking lot before I go into the office. The topics are relevant and varied. There is something for everyone who loves horses. Oh and the recipes are great too. Cheers!

I am a new rider who started late in life (age 29). I am now horsey obsessed and need everything to be related to horses, horse care, horse training, how to not look stupid on horses, etc. I am so grateful to have found this podcast. It’s like I’m hanging with all the horse friends I wish I had in real life. Please keep up the great work!

So thanks to this podcast I am giggling to myself in my office throughout the day! (Who knows what my office neighbors think of me). But truly It is an awesome way to keep up with current horsey events. And it’s also taught me a lot about where the top riders are competing! I love listening to this podcast throughout the day to supplement my girl barn time, cause I’m often the only one at my barn when I go out. This is the podcast i have wanted all my life! Three other hores crazy ladies telling it like it is, talking about all the things I think about, and gushing about their horeses in the way we all do. They are the friends I wish I had and the passionate horse women our industry needs, plus it's all over cocktails... honestly, what could be better?!

This podcast is a so much fun to listen to and is also very informative! I look forward to this podcast coming out and hearing what’s going on in the horse world. I really love the mix of riding experience/backgrounds from the girls because it really helps offer something for all of us. I only wish this were weekly, not only 2x/mo because I’m selfish and need more Heels Down Happy Hour in my life.

Awesome format...fun and informative

I listened for 3 minutes and had to press stop. I just couldn’t take it anymore! In that brief amount of time I heard the word “like” so frequently it was distracting from the topic they attempted to discussed. There is a cocktail segment that is not pertinent. Very silly and immature. Don’t waste 3 minutes of your time listening to them prattle on about nothing.

I don’t mean that in a bad way, but it’s a couple of ladies sitting around talking (one of the women kept saying “awwwwwww” that got a little old :) ). Imagine walking into a bar or coffee shop and a group of women is sitting around talking about women stuff - that’s the show. There is some horse information in there, but not enough to justify spending an hour listening to it. Plus, since it’s for women, there’s lots about dressage and events, which I’m not into. Women would probably like it, but the guys need to check out some like Stable Scoop with Glen the Geek.

I haven’t ridden since college ( and I rode Saddlebreds back then) however my kids rode Hunters and my daughter ( now an adult) has a jumper so I am once again in the periphery of the horse world. I love listening to this podcast and have learned a lot about what is happening currently, some current issues and some best practices......all with a light tone and fun attitude. I also have to say I have gotten enough ideas to keep me set for birthday and Christmas presents for several years! And I got my daughter listening, too. Great job....keep it going!

I’m girl crushing on the ladies doing this podcast. I love every episode and was surprised to learn that I know quite a bit of what they’re talking about in regards to things I follow on social media, so I’m not in the dark. The only reason I haven’t download the magazine is because my account is attached to my husbands credit card and he’s deployed so I don’t have it. Love you ladies! I’m learning a ton and researching more things in regards to maybe riding professionally later on or just excelling in my amateur status. Many thanks for the encouragement!!

This podcast makes my drives in SoCal rush hour traffic actually enjoyable. I wish I could binge on more episodes! Hysterical, interesting, and overall just plain fun.

Can't rave about this podcast enough. Highly suggest this podcast for every equestrian.
