Good information, nice guy, (if you hear a but coming you’re right) needs an edge. I’m not saying “shock jock” level but you gotta let it loose a little. The edges have been so sanded off that there’s nothing to hold on to. Very smart, very capable, very tepid…or so it seems to me.

I must admit I am picky when it comes to podcasts, and this one is easily my favorite. Matthew does a great job keeping his listeners entertained. He also, most importantly, shares information, stories, and facts I have not heard before. I find myself frequently sending episodes to family. My only wish is that there were more! highly recommend

I have been following Matt’s instagram account for years now but have never been into podcasts. This week I was missing Disney more than usually and decided why not listen to an episode. I’ve listened to four in the past two days. I’m hooked!!!! This podcast truly has such a unique perspective and I am learning so much. Matt is extremely knowledgeable, I am so impressed!! Definitely worth a listen.

I always enjoy this podcast and especially the recent episode about small world. So heartfelt and interesting. My husband and I don't always ride that attraction when we are at WDW each year but now I am adding it to our "to do" list so that we can appreciate the sweet sentiment it conveys. This podcast is exceptional in every way. Matthew clearly devotes an incredible amount of time to produce a level of quality that is unmatched in the Disney-sphere of podcasts. From fun trips down memory lane, to binaural tours through favorite attractions, to insight into trip planning, to incredible interviews with Disney greats, and so much more, there is literally something for everyone! The level of detail is incredible. Plus it’s coupled with a sense of optimism that not only reflects what so many of us love about Disney, but also helps us to really feel as if we are entering our own Disney bubbles within our everyday lives. Do not hesitate to listen, you won’t regret it!

Distracting background music makes it very hard to concentrate on the narrative.

I found out about the podcast through Instagram. I have listened here and there, but had been more of a follower through social media accounts. As we prepped for our trip to Disney this summer there were specific episodes that I went to that were incredibly helpful in preparing for our trip. I really enjoy the other episodes as well that are not specific to planning trips. I think there is something for everyone in these podcasts and think those just looking for practical advice/tips, as well as those looking for all they can get with Disney content will enjoy it as well.

Matt’s knowledge, passion, and positivity for all things Disney comes shining through in each episode. It’s like a friend sharing trivia and tips to *help* you vs the “let me show you how much I know” approach of some shows. I look forward to his behind-the-scenes looks at the attractions and resorts episodes the most because I always learn something new (and as a former CM myself that’s a hard hurdle to clear!) Matt and the podcast are now “extra passengers” on our long distance drives and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

This podcast does an excellent job of getting into the nitty gritty of the themed entertainment industry without dissuading listeners from the magic of it. Matthew and his featured guests are enthusiastic, passionate, experienced, and honest about the work they do. As somebody who has always dreamed about working in this industry, this podcast educates and inspires me with each new episode. I feel like I’ve finally found my people.

As a long time listener I learned so much about the Walt Disney company. From hearing about my favorite topics like Tower of Terror to appreciating previously uninteresting things to me like the Carousel of Progress. Bottom line Matthew brings a lot to the table and truly makes this the most magical podcast on earth. :)

I’ve always been a fan of Disney. Going multiple times as a child, up until high school. I always dreamed of being an imagineer, working at the place I loved. Once I got a little older I lost that, and I thought it was too unrealistic. In 2020 I took my fiancé to Disney for her first time ever, my first time in 8 years. It restarted my love for the company, and we’ve been multiple times since (my wife even works for Disney now!) But it was until I discovered the Imagineering Podcast that my love and passion for Imagineering was reignited and inspired me to once again pursue becoming an Imagineer. So thank you so much Matt and keep doing what you’re doing.

I have been following Matt on Instagram for a while but it wasn’t until he took his daughter to Disney that I took a dive into the podcast. I have gone back and started from the beginning and every episode I listen to is better then the last. From discussing the history of rides to discussions of best quick service, properties, top Pixar movies there is something that is making me think. It really makes me appreciate the imagineers more and sometimes makes me hungry with those favorite food episodes! Matt is a genuine human who shares his love and makes you feel like your friends while listening to him!

I cannot say enough on how much I love this Podcast! It is informative filled with positivity and insights. The host, Matt, is a polished and pleasant communicator, who never fails to rise to presenting insightful and thoroughly researched content. This community, perhaps most importantly, is always a healthy balance of varying perspectives without complaining drama, even when tackling the sometimes prickly subjects, that we in the Disney community are passionate about.

Matt is one of the most informative, attentive and optimistic Disney podcasters out there. He is approachable and so friendly! I've enjoyed talking to him and getting to know him too. He's put me at such ease about certain things, and watching Maggie grow up before our eyes is such a gracious thing he's allowed the Imagine Nation to do! I follow Matt/Imagineer Podcast on Instagram but was never really a podcast person. I recently had to travel for work so decided to download a few episodes for my drive/flights. I loved it so much that I ended up listening during every second of free time I had during my trip, and every day since. It brings back so many happy memories, and I learn something new every episode. A must listen!

There is so much great content on here for anyone. I’ve really enjoyed listening to stories about Harrier Burns from people who knew her. I’ve always considered myself to know quite a lot about the Disney company, but I’ve learned so much.

If you love Disney, then look no further for your next podcast. Matt’s passions for Disney shines through every episode and his knowledge of so many aspects of the parks is phenomenal! I love how he takes you on an audio ridethrough of the attractions he talks about so you can really experience it after finding out all these fun facts and history! Recently found this podcast and I have already listened to almost every episode to date. Every episode is unique and full of information. The interviews with past imagineers or creative team members are some of my favorite episodes. I walk away with more questions and knowledge about Disney than I did before starting an episode. This is truly the most informative podcast I’ve found for a Disney lover. Every episode is very well researched and Matthew has a well organized and fun way of presenting Disney fun facts and history. I’m now the Disney nerd who is reciting fun facts and pointing out Easter eggs when in the park! Any time I’m missing Disney I listen to one of these episodes and am never disappointed! I stumbled on this podcast a few days ago while looking for the music to the old Main Street Electrical Parade. I was being nostalgic about growing up in Tampa, FL, in the early 80’s. I found Episode 19 in which Matt played a full live recording of the parade in its entirety. It took me back. From there, I scrolled through more recent episodes to find Matt’s interviews with Timmy Britt and Theron Skees. Absolutely inspiring!!! The access that Matt has created over these years, his insight into the Disney story, his professional production, and love for Disney shine through. Every Disney fan and non-Disney fan should be listening.

The discussion with Mike about Disney parks attractions music was so much fun! I think joint podcasts with the two of you with stories about the history of some of the most iconic music would be awesome.

I’m finally all caught with the podcast episodes (minus some I’m saving for later), and I’ve so much enjoyed this podcast. I feel like I know more about Disney than I did before and there are things I’d certainly love to try in a Disney Trip (like staycations in a Disney resort). It’s so clear that the host puts lots of time, effort and TLC into this podcast and I’m looking forward to many more episodes to come

I started listening to this podcast when planning my trip to Disney world a few months ago and started with more of the round table discussions and tips. Matthew is so knowledgeable and has such a positive attitude. I’ve since enjoyed many interviews and the historical attraction episodes and just can’t get enough. I wasn’t a podcast person until I found this one! I love Mathew’s soothing and enthusiastic voice. My favorite episodes are the ones where Matthew is chatting with friends, family and/or other Disney (professional) fans! I love the conversations… and the little jokes. Giggles. The “growing up in the 90’s” had me laughing outloud. I also love the music and sound clips. The trivia is great too. Just recently…I felt compelled to share what I had learned about the hairy pirate from the Harriet Burns episode. I highly recommend this podcast to any Disney fan. I also highly recommend it to anyone who is wondering if they are meant to become Disney fans.
